This is the quintessential bed and breakfast. It’s a two hundred year old house with lots of charm. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the home cooked breakfast an absolute delight. It’s also within walking distance of downtown which has several restaurants. Stayed here with my wife and son while visiting Mammoth Cave and it was definitely worth it. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

So nice to stay the night in a beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable room that is not surrounded with sterile corporate hotel decor. We enjoyed our night here and the innkeeper, Cherie, was very welcoming. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast but Cherie fixed us coffee to-go. The only thing that might have improved our stay was a better selection of TV programming. Nothing better than settling into a comfy bed to watch TV and unwind from a long day of driving.

We had a wonderful stay. Make sure you stay here. It’s a charming place, wonderful hostess, comfortable bed, great breakfast, and all round just what you are looking for. If your driving up the interstate make sure to take the time to drive a few minutes. You will be greatly rewarded.

Main Street Bed and Breakfast is a Must!
The inn so very charming. You can sense its long history as soon as you enter. There is a spacious living room with a grand piano, in case anyone in your party has a flair, and a sunny dining room. The large kitchen would be the envy of any cook. Cherie, the owner and proprietor, was ever so friendly and gracious. I didn’t have a chance to experience the breakfast, since I was off too early to go hiking, but I imagine it would be as wonderful as everything else. I plan to go back and take my wife with me. If your plans are to see Mammoth Cave, or, like me, hike and kayak, this is a wonderful choice if you want to have a hideaway away from the crowds.

We were not sure about the bed and breakfast because we had never went to one. We found the experience very fun and interesting and the food was excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone who has that idea of what a bed and breakfast is. This place touches all those ideas you probably had. The room was plenty spacious enough for 2 adults and two teenagers.

Great stay, great host and dog!
The accommodation is well maintained, and we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was warm and delicious!! The dog is friendly. My daughter feed chickens in the backyard. I definitely recommend this place!!

We felt very comfortable and right at home the minute we walked into Main Street Bed & Breakfast. Cheri called us by our first names after we introduced ourselves and made us feel very welcome.

A friendly place. A really fine breakfast. It met our needs to stay close to Edmonton, Ky. The innkeeper shared information about the historical center and we spent hours there doing research.

Very very friendly. Great service and clean rooms. Also, very close to downtown where a concert was being held. 3 minutes to walk there. Would recommend to anyone.

An absolute gem
What a wonderful stay and host. We stopped by to visit Mammoth Cave, and found this absolute gem of lodging. Cherie and Lulu were so friendly and welcoming. On the rocking chairs outside we’re just so cozy, that we only went inside because the sun had set and it got chilly. We thoroughly enjoyed the America room. One of the highlights was the shower, the water which was very hot and high pressure. Cherie made a delicious breakfast of bacon, pancakes, fruit bowl, with fresh eggs that her chickens laid. We definitely ate our fill. Most certainly we will return for this bed and breakfast.

1st time at a bed and breakfast.
This place was awesome , so quite and laid back. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Cherie was so nice and thoughtful of us. It was very clean and homey. The breakfast was amazing, and delicious. My husband and I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect little getaway!
SUCH a cute & historic little place! The rooms were in amazing condition, the owner made a DELICIOUS breakfast for us, & it was so close to Mammoth Cave National Park! Really wonderful experience.

A Gem in downtown Glasgow, KY!
The Main Street Bed & Breakfast is a gem - beautiful, historic antique decor, very warm and welcoming. Cherie and her dog Lulu were so accommodating, and the breakfast was amazing! My daughter and I loved our stay. If I weren't actually moving to the area, I'd be back, but I'll surely recommend it to all my friends and family!

A gorgeous bed and breakfast experience. We stayed in the American suite and enjoyed the comfortable, patriotic themes in the room. A bed suited for a couple, full restroom, free wifi, and an excellent continental breakfast. Cherie was an excellent host and the significant other loved her dog Lulu and the chickens. We will gladly stay at Main Street Bed & Breakfast whenever we return to Kentucky!

Absolutely loved my stay at Main Street B&B. Cherie was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. I arrived a little early and was allowed in to get settled. I then ventured out to check out some sites in Glasgow. I have to say that everyone I met was so very nice and friendly. My breakfast was delicious and I even got coffee to go. The perfect stop on my way to Florida. Hope to see you again Cherie!
