The main room is spacious and has the basics (kitchen bench, kitchen table, dishes and utensils, chairs, TV and WI-FI). The bathroom was small. The shower was small. The only sink is in the bathroom. It is so tiny that washing dishes with it is difficult. I loved the art. Clean and tidy. The car park is not flat; this made it a bit difficult to park the car.

The staff were such nice people and I really hate to write an awful review as it is a family business. The place needs a lot of work done to it to make it a nice place to stay.

There was not much to like unfortunately, the management where nice and tried to help, but it does not state in the advert that they are a motel that take in permanent residents that are essentially homeless drug takers, it also states that there is regular housekeeping, which is true if you ask for it, we were there for 5 nights, and had to ask for fresh towels, and for them to make up the room, they did not empty the bin in the room, we had to, and the one and only time they did make up our room after having to ask for it, on return after a day out the room stank of cigarette smoke as if the cleaners were smoking in the room was disgusting, the place is very very noisy, there was a lot of cigarette smokers booked in and they would stand outside any room and smoke, which made the place stink of cigarette smoke, and being nonsmokers was not pleasant at all, on our last night there, there was a very weird gentleman in the room next to us whom obviously had mental health issues, and kept us awake with banging and talking to himself etc, until the wee hours of the morning, which meant we were not refresh as we should of been for our drive back to WA, unfortunately you get what you pay for with this one, will not be staying here again. Find somewhere else....

What was good…Surprisingly didn’t hear the traffic on the highway through the night. Price was very reasonable. What was bad…Only surface cleaned; smell of cigarette smoke in room, also in the kettle (maybe it had been used as an ash tray), there was a used syringe on top of cabinet in bathroom, inside the cabinet was disgusting. I suggest removing the cabinets and put a mirror on the wall instead. Room inspector needs to look everywhere and smell.

The cleanliness of the room was very poor, hair in the shower drain, pubic hair in the bath, and then the PowerPoint next to the bed was held to the wall with masking tape (very unsafe).

The check in staff were very friendly. We had two rooms, they both smelt like stale smoke. Both rooms were non smoking rooms. The bed linen had holes and some sort of hair on it. There were holes in the walls, when we plugged in our chargers the lights would flicker. Towels were tatty, plus 3 to the room and only two towels and no hand towel. Shower curtain looked like it could have grown legs and ran away, it was disgusting. Around the hotel, wasn’t very tidy. Yes it’s a budget hotel, but budget doesn’t have to mean gross.

The shower was tiny, the room was very basic, the bathroom sink was too small to be able to fill the kettle, the microwave oven had a distinct burnt smell to it. Worst of all was the road noise - if I had have known how noisy this property was I would have booked elsewhere.

Unit was neat clean and tidy. Liked having a microwave which if staying a few days would come in handy. Bed was comfortable. Road noise seemed louder than the last time we stayed, but noticed a few trees had been trimmed. Bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. The shower recess was ok but the access is narrow. Would suggest an exhaust fan to be put in and to update the shower curtain a bit more regular as the one we had was a bit old

Disgusting!
Room smelt mouldy, shower drain blocked and overflowed. Bathroom way too small and cramped. Power points unsafe and unuseable, hanging out of walls and faulty. Beds were ok. Still awaiting refund after nearly two months of waiting and many emails.

Ok comfortable but basic
The room was quite basic but had the equipment you needed. Maybe adding a basic cooker to enable you to make a meal not just a microwave would be a good idea.

Good location for getting around Adelaide and especially the Adelaide Hills. Let down by half hearted cleaners who fail to replace sugar & tea daily and minimum clean up of room for long term stayer

Out of date and noisy.
The room was fine. VERY dated and cold, but spacious and clean. What made this stay poor, was the noise from the highway, which was terrible! Seriously heard every vehicle that passed. Also heard entire conversations in the room next door. Parking was easy.

Check in was easy, the room was clean and large. The hot water was luke warm at best in the evening. It was OK in the morning early. Tea and coffee was available in the room.

Noisy hotel at the foot of the hills.
The room was clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small and pokey. You couldn't get changed in there. We worked out that the white tub was to wash dishes but you had to use a plastic jug to fill the kettle to boil the water to wash up or jug it from a tiny basin in the bathroom. The fridge didn't seem to keep things cold or couldn't freeze a water bottle. I removed a large shelf of ice under the freezer section but this had no effect. While we were staying there both lamp shades bulbs blew and when I went to replace the toilet roll the white now yellow plastic holder snapped from old age. But the worst part was the horrendous traffic noise from trucks using air brakes coming down the hill and accelerating and changing gears going up hill. This was relentless except for a lull in the early hours of the morning for 2 -3 hours.Hence we got very little sleep. I bought earplugs which increased my sleep but I was tired everyday of my visit due to lack of sleep. But it was cheap!

No facial tissues, hair conditioner, or electric blankets. No face washcloths or hand towel (only bath towels & mat). The very spacious but dusty & dated room did have a microwave, large mini-fridge, ample dishes & utensils for four people, portable heater, good A/C unit, & plenty of coffee sachets & milk. Wifi was quite slow at times. Twin beds were new, but queen mattress was old & springs could be felt through padding. Despite double-glass windows, the busy intersection was exceptionally noisy with loud traffic from long road trucks & other guests next door. Kind & friendly front desk staff who was very helpful & accommodating.

Nice hotel, clean & tidy, very comfortable. Microwave to heat food, cutlery & crockery. Do your own dishes with implements provided. Overall very nice stay.
