Great View from deluxe huts. Our check-in experience was not good,2 frontdesk receptionist were 'bossy'. Vegetarian food was well prepared, waiters were nice and friendly too. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR LONG TERM STAY.

Property not worth at this cost
The location was awesome but the service was very poor. Rooms were smelly. No parking available u have to search it at ur own. Breakfast buffet includes 1 meal per person which is not enough for a normal diet and they will charge u if u order again. The sea facing rooms at first floor were better. Staff was rude.

SUPER ETABLISSEMENT Avis sur Cafe Blue Hotel Avis en attente CAFE BLUE HOTEL...Très bel hotel situé sur la partie ouest (la plus calme)de la magnifique plage de Palolem. Composé de 12 bungalows en bois, dont 5 directement face à la mer. (3 en terrasse et 2 sur la plage).bungalows sobres,et très propres d'environ 25m2 blancs et bleus avec moustiquaire, clim, ventilation, ainsi qu'une salle de bain, douche et WC.Tout est clean et entretenu parfaitement tout les deux jours. UN grand MERCI à Sameer et toute son équipe,pour son efficacité et sa gentillesse....que du bonheur... Les petits déjeuners proposés sous plusieurs versions sont très copieux, toujours servis les pieds dans le sable dans la salle de restaurant qui surplombe la plage. Des transats avec draps de bain en quantité largement suffisante pour tout le monde sont là à nos pieds sous de confortables parasols. Le sunset arrivant devant nous, Rama, Dadoo,Yash, et les autres...rangent les transats pour dresser sur la plage, les tables du dîner, où nous prendrons notre repas aux chandelles, toujours les pieds dans le sable. Poulet, gambas poissons,cuisinés à l'indienne,très bien servis ont ravis nos papilles pendant notre séjour. Bref ....Que du bonheur,de bons souvenirs.....on regarde déjà les dates pour 2021....

The location and staff were amazing. However we stayed for 5 nights and the room was never cleaned. The towels on the Sunbeds were also not changed. Access to the property is either a 200m walk along the beach or a 100m walk through an adjoining property. The evening grilled fish was the best in palolem.

India is a rough place to travel to. Comfort, cleanliness, and good food are important. The staff at Cafe Blue work very hard from sunrise to well into the night to keep their guests and others comfortable. The rooms are a bit rustic, but you are right on the front of the beach. The rooms have nice porches and comfortable beds, and a fan and AC. The toilet and shower are about average for India, but hot water is available. The WiFi worked great over quite a distance. However there are usually a few power outtages throughout the evening, which is more of a Palolem problem, not directed at Cafe Blue. The staff are extremely friendly and are willing to make your stay as enjoyable as possible The food is great. I didn't bother exploring other restaurants along the beach because they had a variety and I could choose fresh seafood on ice. The furniture set up inside the restaurant and on the beach front is nice. It is a bit away from any main road, so it can be difficult to find upon arrival. If you go to South Goa, stay here. I hope to return one day.

The overall experience was good. The people working there were really friendly and great service. If you want to save some money by not going to fancy hotels, then we can recommend this one. Since they had quite nice a/c rooms facing the sea.

We stayed there with family and friends. Our stay was quite pleasant and overall service have been really good. Special thanks to Manish(The guy from dharamshala, who took care of our food and services). Food has been good but specially breakfast and continental dishes. North indian dishes could be improved a little bit more. Property is at very good location and view is phenomenal. You just wake up and sip your tea/coffee/beer with great view. Overall I would stay back again if given a chance.

The room was a few steps above the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach and rooms were clean and not too crowded. Would recommend this beach and property.

My wife and I stayed at Cafe Blue Hotel at Palolem Beach and recommend it highly, with one caveat. We had a balcony directly overlooking the ocean (beautiful), and once the restaurant closed at 10:30, the waves lulled us to sleep. The one caution is that the room is quite basic. It has everything you need, but if you are looking for 5-star luxury, this isn't it. What it does offer is a 5-star beach location. The a/c works fine, there is a shower and bathroom, and the bed is comfortable. The restaurant is excellent, particularly the whole grilled fish. Breakfast is good, although it is not all you can eat. The staff is very helpful. Cafe Blue Hotel is on the quieter (north) side of the beach. The beach itself is developed, so there are small restaurants and hotels lining its shores. There are a bunch of colorful, small fishing boats on the beach, which you can hire to see dolphins, the sunset, or to go to another beach. Some of them do catch fish too. We hired Dev's boat. The small river on the north end of the beach is also good for a sunrise boat trip to see amazing birds, including Indian eagles. "Mr. Big" found us near the bridge and poled us up river in his boat. The ocean waters are calm, warm, family-friendly, and the beach is not overcrowded. There is a street that leads up to the beach, and it is lined with stores. You can buy food, drinks, clothing, jewelry, leather (water buffalo, not cow), sheets, wall hangings, and various other goods.

The view comes with a slight price of comfort
Breathtaking views from the sea facing huts, simple but delicious breakfast, 5 star rating for the management and attentitive staff. Only drawback was the low pressure shower, leaking toilet. This is a beach shack and is not suitable for those that are used to 4 star and above.

Exceptional all around great place!
I was travelling with both my partner and elder parents so different needs but what an amazing stay we all had. We splurged a bit to get the beach front view but even a partial sea view would of been great. Cafe Blue offered an overall amazing experience: clean rooms, great location, friendly and accommodating staff and very yummy food and drinks. If you love seafood try the fried calamari, the seafood noodles, the seafood sizzler and give the olive naan bread a try! The included breakfast option is definitely a great value ( you can pay for a great fruit salad on the side); and if you love mint try the mint lemonade. Arrange for your cab ride back with the hotel much safer driving than the regular airport cab drivers. The staff were so nice and attentive to my elder parents...we can t wait to go back next year! It s worth the long journey for the overall package Cafe Blue can offer!

Très sympathique hôtel ;-). Les petits bungalows sont rustiques mais très confortables. Le personnel est particulièrement sympathique, accueillant et attentif. La cuisine est variée et délicieuse. La plage de Palolem est fabuleuse, à la fois très belle et tranquille (plutôt familiale : des touristes et des familles indiennes) et avec une ambiance cool et bon enfant. Le coin rêvé pour se reposer et profiter de la mer et du soleil. J'y ai passé 5 jours, et j'ai adoré.

Beach accommodation
Unique experience staying on the beach with good food available all the time. Pleasant hotel staff, hotel manager Adi goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and a totally relaxing experience. The beach itself is beautiful and not crowded at all. Lot of activities e.g. Canoeing, boat rides, yoga etc and a number of fine dining options available in the area.

Pleasant - On the beach.
We spent 3 nights in this small, basic hotel. Exceptionally friendly, helpful staff. Quiet air conditioning and fan in room. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, with mozzie net. The only complaint we had was that the water pressure in the shower was exceptionally low. Struggled to actually hand shower selves down. Only 2 beach front rooms. Other rooms are situated behind the bar / restaurant area. Tide comes very close to hotel front and the waves seemed to crash which made sleeping difficult at first - not gentle lulling waves! Palolem beach and the beach "huts" were not what we expected having stayed in beach shacks in North Goa some years ago. The beautiful bay has been somewhat over-developed and is full of similar hotels.

Simple Hütten, nach indischen Verhältnissen sauber, westliche Toilette mit Toilettenpapier war vorhanden. Essen ist sehr günstig und sehr lecker. Tolle Aussicht und toller Service. Handtücher sind vorhanden sowie zwei leichte Decken. Insgesamt sehr toller Aufenthalt!!

Для тех, кто любит ночью тишину-не рекомендую . Шум волн и лай собак мешают спать. Wi-Fi не работал, в номерах не убирают. Но! Близость к океану, чистота территории и доброжелательность обслуживающего персонала - Вам обеспечена. Еще -очень хорошее расположение у отеля. Для Палолема - четверка!

A FUIR
Hotel confortable a premiere vue. Cependant, le ménage n a jamais ete fait, pas de connexion wifi, coupure de courant tres reguliere, personnel indifferent voir meme desagreable. Si vous etes genereux en pourboire, le personnel sera un peu plus attentif... Tres mauvais rapport qualite prix. Nous sommes restes 3 nuits dans cet hotel et 7 nuits en tout a Palolem, nous avons eu le temps de faire des comparaisons... Il y a d autres bungalows pour un confort egal a 2 fois moins cher...

Perfect stay on the Beach
The stay was w'ful, could be compared to the beach cottages in Phuket. Staff is good although the food coudl be improved a bit. But overall, pleasant since the pics and description on internet was same as actual.
