Wunderschöne Hotelanlage am tollen Strand
Wir haben uns im The Fern insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt, da es einfach wunderschön und gepflegt ist und die Hotelangestellten unheimlich nett und unaufgeregt bemüht sind. Die Lage ist an sich auch toll, da der endlose Strand von Benaulim nur zwei Minuten entfernt ist. Der Weg zum "Dorf" mit vielen Restaurants und Shops ist auch nicht weit. Es kommen viele Russen nach Benaulim. Just saying. Einzige Kritikpunkte: das Frühstück war nicht besonders. Das Angebot war OK und die Eierspeisen wurden frisch zubereitet, aber geschmacklich war alles so lala. Und es gibt nur Filterkaffe oder Nescafé. Erstaunlich, heutzutage. Das gilt übrigens für ganz Benaulim. Nur in der German Bakery gibt es z.B. Cappuccino. An anderen Orten in Goa ist man da schon weiter. Am späten Abend schallte extrem laute Musik aus den Beach Shacks rüber. Das hat sehr gestört. Wir haben ein paar Mal an der Rezeption Bescheid gesagt (andere Gäste wohl auch) und dann wurde die Polizei hingeschickt. Irgendwann war dann Ruhe.

Peaceful 10 days after hectic Golden Triangle and Amritsar Golden Temple tour. 2 mins shuffle to beach and Coco's beach shack. Timber chalets have plenty privacy. Located in a well kept garden. Breakfasts could be better.

Lovely hotel only 100 yards from beautiful beach,
Stayed here for 5 nights before heading north. Well equiped, comfortable, clean cabin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent food. Less than 10 minutes walk to town and some decent restaurants, money changing facilities, etc. Will stay here again, no problem.

Schöne Holzbungalows in einer gepflegten Anlage. Sehr guter Service und die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, Zimmer sehr sauber. Es sind nur 2 Minuten zum sehr schönen weitläufigen Strand. Frühstück ist gut und das Internet funktionierte meistens.

Calm and Clean Space Near Beach
The cabins at Fern Lodge are beautiful, very spacious, clean, and environmentally conscious. The bed and bed linens were incredibly comfortable and the grounds are quite serene. The only issue in the room was that the hot water didn't last for more than a minute or two (I imagine this is easily fixed). There is a little sound pollution as night from the nearby beach establishments that play loud music until late in the night. We weren't very bothered by this, however. The small spa at Fern Beira Mar is lovely - treated myself to one of their signature massages and felt very refreshed afterward. The restaurant could use some improvement as some of the breakfast food didn't seem very fresh. We didn't try any other meals as a result. The wifi service is also a bit patchy. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our time there!

Great place for couples!
We had a great stay, the hotel is a little out of the way but it's only about 2 blocks away from a very quiet part of the beach. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, they really go out of there way, my girlfriend was sick and we were able to get their help to get a doctor to our room within an hour. The rooms were very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, it was a really a pleasure staying at this hotel, the breakfast was good and it was quiet at night. If you're single, I wouldn't recommend this place at all, the location is terrible but for couples, this is a great, quiet and romantic getaway. The place is a little pricey but from what we learned in the next place we stayed at in the goa area, this hotel was well worth it. The beaches change tremendously, make sure you pick what type of beach experience you want first, then pick the hotel. If you want a quiet getaway with fairly quick access through the beach to some other restaurants, this is the place to go, if you're looking for a 24/7 party, this is definitely not the place to go.

Very good maintained garden and cottages, they should add more food options in restaurant for Aa La Carte and breakfast. Otherwise an excellent stay. It's right on the beach.

Hyggelige hytter i rolige omgivelser
Vi valgte stedet da det var væk fra de store tungt belastede områder i Goa. Her er hyggeligt med fiskerbåde på stranden. God restauranter til billige priser, både på hotellet og på stranden. Eneste negative ting: WIFI var langsomt eller ude af drift - men det gælder mange steder i Indien og er ikke nødvendigvis hotellets skyld.

Estancia muy agradable
El hotel es muy agradable y tiene una excelente ubicación al lado de la playa. Debería cuidar un poco más la limpieza de las zonas comunes y el desayuno, algo escaso y poco variado. El personal, muy amable. En conjunto, muy tranquilo y recomendable.

The stay was good. Still the hotel needs lot of refinement. There is no spa working, the rooms are not big. Especially the toilets were too small. The pool was also not big enough for everyone. Overall, good stay but could have been much better.

wonderful experience
The property is excellent, well maintained and the staff gr8. Restaurant could be better and have a better spread for buffet breakfast. It is a wonderful place to stay and would definitely go back again.

Outstanding Service!!!
One of the best places to stay in south goa. 1 min. walk from the beach. Rehman, swizzle and all other hotel staff are very helpful and provide a top class service. Would surely recommend the hotel to all planning a romantic getaway.

Nice Hotel...Great Location
Nice Hotel, located right on the beach. Slightly away from Benaulim town and main beach. A couple of shacks on the beach. Good for those who want calm and peaceful stay at a location right on the beach. Stayed with my wife here for 3 nights for a short vacation. Cottages are nice and comfortable. Overall a good expereince. Staff is helpful and co-operative too. Location looks great during the day right on the beach, however, becomes bit scary in the evening as it becomes dark, especially with no lights around on the beach. One or two shacks only. Since, it is slightly away from the main benaulim town and main beach, it is better to have own vehicle, may be a two wheeler to roam around. Limited menu in the restaurant for vegetarians. Also, no separate pure-veg counters in the buffet breakfast (although, unlikely for goans). However, I liked the location and the hotel ambience which is great. Staff is good and helpful as well. Swizzle at the reception, arranged us an extended checkout as we had a flight in the evening as a service gesture. Not only, they negotiated to arrange for airport drop by a taxi. Overall, me and my wife enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend others.

Great Location. Great Value!
This hotel was a fantastic discovery! For starters its brand new, clean + well kept. Some advantages 1) its right on the Benaulim beach with its own entry/ exit gate to the beach...saves time and the walk. the beach has lots of shacks to choose from 2) unlike other hotels, this has spacious wood cottages with nice/big/comfortable beds and separate loos and shower area 3) the grounds have a manicured garden, lawn, flowers, trees - keeps the temp down 4) Since there are not too many cottages, the pool is always empty (and pool is cleaned daily, i think) 5) Finally, the staff is very courteous - they will organise for you bikes, car... even negotiate if need be, suggest local restaurants, cuisines...they are extremely friendly, polite and always there to help. Thank you Swizzle, Rehman and Joslan. Will surely come back. I would suggest people to call up the hotel directly to get great deals.
