Really quaint self contained accommodation, nestled in a quiet, tree surround property. The unit had everything that you could ask for - King bed, fridge, microwave, BBQ, A/C, TV that made a three day get away just right. Easy walking distance to food outlets as well.

Cottage was very comfortable, fire was cosy on a cool evening. It was lovely to have breakfast sitting the veranda. It is very central in Mt Tamborine close to walks, coffee shops, cafes but also in a very quiet location.

Lovely little cottage, close walk to cafes for breakfast and lunch. Eating out at night mid week, not much choice. not enough coffee pods for coffee machine. there were 2 pods for 2 people for 3 night stay ?? asked for more and got 4. for people who like good quality coffee and not being rationed take your own

Everything was so we'll thought-out. The amenities were incredibly well-stocked. So many little touches that contributed to an amazing experience. We will definitely come back again to enjoy what this little sanctuary has to offer.

Peaceful Stay
The cottage was ready early which meant that we were able to kick back and relax a little longer. We enjoyed sitting out on the verandah with a cup of coffee and a couple of bush turkeys for company. We were in Blue Wren Cottage that had 2 separate beds. I slept in the king single which was nice and comfortable. The property has a nice garden and provides a relaxing atmosphere for an enjoyable stay. It is also within walking distance to some of the local eateries and restaurants.

A gorgeous, sweet and every detail taken care of kind of stay in a beautiful spot, with a woodbox full of firewood and every need catered for, it was just the most wonderful stay we have had in a while. We arrived late and left early after two nights, but the communication was perfect, exactly as we needed it, and just sitting on the little verandah observing things, it was really like you were staying in a gorgeous little home. Val was wonderful and helpful, when we forgot something, and organised its return immediately. It really was just perfect. Thank you so much for having us, cannot wait to return!

perfect little getaway for family on the mt.
Great location, near main st and eateries but still tucked away enough you feel isolated and with the nature. The cottage itself is very cute and homely but surprisingly spacious. Wi-fi and Netflix is also a plus with the kids!! Will definitely be back.

The cottage was very well presented with a warm welcome from the property owners. It was a very comfortable stay in a well appointed, functional cabin. There was fire wood supplied, a weber BBQ and a kitchen with good quality utensils.

Val and Ian were great hosts. Delightful and thoughtful 'extras' greeted us such as the Christmas decorations, chocolates, a bottle of wine, milk, bacon & eggs, fresh bread and butter, orange juice and cold water. The cottage was wonderfully private nestled alongside the rainforest and yet just a very short walk from the North Tambourine shops and eateries. Loved the birdlife, particularly the satin bowerbird and his bower just near the verandah. The cottage was fully self-contained - kitchen utensils, good wifi (no extra charge), air conditioner, firewood for the wood heater, extra blankets etc. Loved it. Thank you Val and Ian.

Such a quaint and beautiful cottage escape
The Blue Wren cottage was absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by birds, beautiful gardens and tranquility - this cottage provided the perfect getaway for those looking to enjoy all that Tambourine Mountain has to offer. The cottage had a romantic fireplace, generous living space, lovely kitchen, and gorgeous deck that looked out onto the gardens. Everything was beautifully presented with excellent appliances and goodies needed to cook meals in the kitchen. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the actual location was excellent - allowing a 5 min drive to many of the attractions on the mountain. The only downside was that the sleeping arrangements for a family of four were squishy - if you have two kids, maybe pack an extra camp or trundle bed. Otherwise, a wonderful cottage escape!

Beautiful cottage
Cottage was beautiful , had everything you could need . Very clean and looked like recently renovated . Very close to the village. We were greeted by the owner . Would definitely stay there again .

Highly recommend Kidd Street Cottages, very special place. We spent four night stay at 'Blue Wren Cottage' it contained all the ingredients for a perfect relaxing getaway. On arrival there was flowers, chocolates and wine on the table. A hearty breakfast of bacon eggs, juice in the fridge and fresh bakery bread. Didnt even need to leave to get a decent coffee, pod coffee and milk cremer along with some Tim Tams, felt very spoilt. Plenty of wood for the cosy fire. An interesting selection of books, mags and movies. Didnt really need to leave the cottage but was short stroll to shops, restaurants, club and an Irish pub serving fabulous food. So much care and attention has gone into making visitors feel welcome, comfortable beds , very peaceful, we slept well, beautiful gardens. Owners friendly and respectful, great service , they made sure we had plenty of wood. Went home feeling refreshed and looking forward to our next visit. Thankyou so much.

Cosy Cottage
Stayed at Blue Wren cottage. It was lovely. Welcoming fresh flowers and chocolates on the table. A brand new kitchen and comfortable beds. Lovely verandah. Very helpful and friendly hosts who assisted us with our Commonwealth Games plans and recommendations for dinner.

Perfect Cottage
Our stay was perfect in every way. There were chocolates for after dinner,snacks for coffee and fresh vase of flowers. What more would you want!

our stay
very clean and well set up cottage. Loved sitting on the verandah and enjoying a cool drink, The bed was comfortable and considering the weather at the time of our stay it was very warm and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and we also were very impressed with the local people being so warm and welcoming. We would happily recommend the cottages to other visitors and are looking at staying on the mountain again and would like to stay again.

Nice and secluded
Lovely secluded spot in North Mt Tambourine, but also just a 5 minute walk to the pub, resteraunts, and the Mountain View Cafe. Extremely clean with quality towels, and top quality toilet paper, and a kitchen with all the necessary equipment needed for a short stay.

Close to restaurants
Lovely cabins in the bush but close enough to walk to the old town centre an plenty of restaurants. These solidly built cabins were surrounded by lush mature vegetation. They were maintained well and the main bedroom doors opened wide to allow the sights and sounds of the bush to enter readily.
