Nobody in the front desk in the morning to help guest to check out, npt much food available the orange juice is like water, we end up just having breakfast at tim hortons

We reserved a non smoking room. The room we got clearly had been smoked in. The girl at the front desk quickly gave us a different room that waz mych better. When i whatex to check out, there wss a sig at the front desk saying " back in 5 minutes ". J waited for a jit and yhen left without checking out.

The bathroom had dried brown drops running down the wall, looked in need of renovation, grout looked old, paint peeling off, we didn't use the shower. The nonsmoking room we were booked in smelled smokey. The bed was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly but for the price this place is not a good deal

expensive; wouldn't give us any breakfast items before 7:00am as we had an early flight and couldn't use the included breakfast (all I wanted was some muffins and juices). No one at office when we left at 6:30am.

Room is very run down needs a refresh. Smelled of smoke even though it was a none smoking room. Breakfast was better than expected.

After paying $212 for the night.. walk in the room and walked right back out and straight to the front desk.. The room smelled, bathroom walls dirty, overall condition poor... We did get a refund eventually but WOW..

Old and outdated
We checked in to the room - and in a couple minutes saw raw sewage flood the bathroom sink. The reception did change the room for us. The other room was ok but smelled of mould A cat was roamning free in the breakfast area - tables were old and unclean... breakfast was complementary but we did not feel like eating as it loooked too unhygienic.... there is a Tim Hortons across... For the price this was not at all worth. Bad experience

Most affordable in that area at that season
Just passing through and looked for a place just for one night. Met some nice fellow travellers and had an enjoyable evening. Otherwise it was a mediocre facility, but okay for our needs. Complementary breakfast was quite good but selection was limited.

right beside the highway
they need to get exterminators in there, small bugs in my paper cup in the bathroom . The rubber bath mat should have been thrown out years ago, disgusting. Couldn't get the clock to work, probably why it was unplugged. needs a lot of attention, as in detailed cleaning and painting, will not go back!

Ok stay
Rooms stale. Could be a little cleaner. Breakfast was subpar. I just stayed in a Super 8 in Cochrane, Alberta where the breakfast had all kinds of choices. Cochrane was super clean and staff was great.

Not Going Back
The bathtub was dirty as well as the tile. Very noisy, there were motorcyclists staying and at 6am our neighbor started her motorcycle for over 5 minutes and made so much noise when leaving that we couldn't go back to sleep, Mind that we had a long day the next day and arrived late also.

Dirty bathroom and room
We arrived around mignight and waited outside for someone to answer the bell for about 5 minutes. We understand it's late so we didnt make anything out of it. A girl answered the caller and I said we had a reservation and she just said "ok, wait" She opened the door again after 5 minutes in what appeared to be her Pj's and began looking for our reservation. no smile, no hello how are you, just looking upset at us waking her up. My booking was made for the wrong day, and although the hotel had only 4 cars on one side and 2 on the other side and the place appeared empty, she said she had no rooms for us. I asked if she was sure and she said "fine, ill give u a room, same price, but no breakfast." She gave us our key looking upset at us and we went to our room. The bathroom had poop stains on the seat and bowl and the shower had hair on the walls. Fresh towels were replaced and floor was clean with a folded towel on the floor so a maid clearly had done some kind of work in there. I tried saving 20 bucks by going to super 8 but it was a mistake.

Nice hotel has fridge and microwave in room!
Good experience. Pets are allowed and could hear barking through the walls during the day. Nice and quiet at night. Hot tub was nice and hotel staff were excellent! Breakfast was good.

Stop over for evening on longer trip. Room was clean. Free breakfast was certainly enough for my wife and myself. The stay met our needs for a reasonably priced stop over.

Nice and close to the transCanada
We took the availability of the hot tub. What a luxury after a long day in the car. The young lady on the desk was so friendly. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. View of the mountains a treat. I am thrilled that they are renovating to increase the experience. Yes we will use this hotel again and recommend to our friends.

Budget standards but not cheap
Room was tired and not the cleanest. I expected a bad continental breakfast but was shocked to not even have any fruit on offer, just toast, cereal, waffle machine and yogurt with no ingredient list - terrible

Very out dated rooms and the bed sucked
Walked in and main light in the room was burnt out....no bath towels.. the bed was VERY uncomfortable as well as the pillows..the curtains didn't close all the way and the shower curtain was too small for the tub resulting in water getting all over the floor and by far yhe worst was the hot tub was located right by the front desk ..would NOT recommend this place at all. .

Convenient but not worth it
We found four bugs right away in the room and asked the front desk if they had problems with bed bugs. They said no. We threw back the covers and found a live bug ( not a bed bug though). We stayed but had a fitful night as a result. We won't stay there again. We may have paid too much too as we are seniors and BCAA members so usually get a discount

A hotel with poor breakfast and wifi
I stayed in this place at room 117 for two nights. The room cleanness is OK, but the mattress and blanket is old. They have free WiFi but the signal is so weak that we couldn't use it while we were at our room. They also serve breakfast but the service is poor, the staff does not check if there is enough food, you have to ask the front desk lady to bring bread or other things.

For the price it was disappointing. Clean but...
The TV did not work properly and I think there may have been a cable issue as well. The hairdryer worked for a minute at very slow revs and then quit. Breakfast was minimal choice and quantity. Even the muffins were cut in half. For the price we expect everything to work but we were tired so for one night the room worked.

Worst ever!!!
The price on Expedia included tax. But, the motel charged additional tax. They said that it was a mistake of Expedia and they have nothing to do with the issue. The staff of this motel was not responsible.

Only okay
When I checked in I was asked if it was okay if they gave me the handicapped room - but there was really no other option as that's the only room they had left. I was told that the only difference is that the light switches were lower and the room was larger, so that sounded great to me. The room itself didn't look like it was vacuumed at all as there was little bits of stuff on the floor. I also found a previous guests' sock under the desk. There was also no extra plugin near the desk so I had to unplug the microwave to use my laptop. The hotel was quite busy a little noisy, but I was able to get a decent sleep. The mattress was quite hard, but good enough for a night. The continental breakfast was cleared out early so I was only able to get cereal in the morning which was very disappointing. Had the room been vacuumed better and the continental breakfast been available until the posted time - it would have been a much better experience.

Would not stay here again. GPS goes to wrong hotel
The GPS will take you to the wron place and you end up in the town of golden at a different hotel. Had to phone to get directions - the receptionist said this happens regularly. Stay on the Trans Canada - don't turn into Golden. The bathroom floor looked like it needed a good scrub. Very very basic accom. Dingy room and dingy carpeting Just did not seem well cared for. Had an ok sleep and served the purpose of one night with an early morning start on the road to next destination. Went to the town for dinner. Not much to see.

Do not stay there!
We booked a room for one night and when we arrived were told that its a smoking room. It smelled terrible - worst hotel stay ever. They could not accommodate us in a non-smoking room.

I honestly thought it was closed when we arrived- no vehicles,very empty grounds, etc.Front desk did make checkin very easy though. We stayed upstairs and the outdoor veranda/hallway was quite unkept-needed sweeping or vacuuming. Bedspread was worn but sheets were clean, carpet was updated and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was ok - toast, muffin, yogurt, juice. Appeared to be waffles also. No fruit available.

Carpets need cleaning
Carpets need cleaning. Desk is not open 24 hours. Pet charges are extra as they need to clean the sheets, etc. Don' they do this for every new customer. Yikes! Waffles for breakfast was a plus.

No Front Desk
We advised them that we would be arriving late around 10:30pm. Front desk was closed so we buzzed this system. She told us our room number and our key was under the mat!!! Really! I asked what time they were opened in the morning and she said 10:00 am! I asked her how I would get my receipt and that too was under the mat! I just found it all weird. But we were so tired we just went to sleep with the double lock. The room was very clean but also very cold when we arrived.
