Took this for an overnight stay on a long road trip. I booked it not knowing much about the area. The service is good, the room was clean but also very simple. The neighborhood is extremely remote and not sure about how safe it is. There is no pool, no gym but a small breakfast. I think it’s a little overpriced based on the amenities offered. It seems like there are better areas along the 95 that offer more amenities and even just more dining and less remote of a neighborhood, for a similar price. (Fayetteville, Wilson, Lumberton are all not so far and off the 95),I expected something a little different with the Quality Inn franchise.

Checked in --had a reservation --tried to take shower--city had shut the water for a planed outage starting at 10 pm --I was not told I would not have water until city turned water back on after their maintance -- I was upset that when I checked in I was not notified their would be no shower or toilet in room --desk clerk told me their was a notice on the check in counter --when I called from room after check in

We stayed for 3 nights. The bedding had holes and stunk. The room stunk. No houskeeping was done at all meaning no clean towels, no vacuuming ( the carpet was dirty and not vacuumed when we got there ), recieved a call the first night that the water may be shut off from the town and to take showers now, the guest laundry was broken due to the pipes were broken, there was urine at the top of the shower above your head and they couldn't print out receipts because their computers were down. Worst stay we have ever had. Don't bother going here.

Though I arrived late -- 10:30pm-- Brenda the receptionist was waiting for my arrival. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and so I slept well. Mary Beth, who cared for the breakfast preparation was very helpful. The hotel was easy to get to, right off I-95. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay in Kenly, North Carolina. Marybeth, the property manager checked on us with a phone call. Brenda took over for her in the morning and was wonderful to work with upon our stay. We met Jay the new owner, too. We would say for value and location in traveling on I-95 is true value of friendliness and taking the time to provide a quiet location to rest.

The receptionist was very rude. We drove for 8 hours beforeI we walked in. Upon entering to the reception I said hello to her she didn’t respond. I asked if I could use the restroom before checking in. She said,” I don’t have a public restroom, you have to wait until you go to your room”. Then I gave her my last name and booking number and informed her that I booked two rooms. She said, “No, I only have one room.” I tried to showed her the email confirmation but she didn’t wanted to see it. She said,” I don’t want to see it, do whatever you want to do because there’s nothing I can do.” She didn’t try or advise anything to resolve the problem. I called Hotels.com customer service phone number hoping to speak to someone to resolve the problem. It was Sunday and for some reason it was taking long. In the meantime my youngest daughter wanted to use the restroom. I asked permission again since it was taking long. Again she said no. So at that point I left the hotel to a gas station to use the restroom. When I came back, she found the other room under my booking. After I checked in I went to my rooms and found out that bedsheets and pillow covers are dirty, carpet was really dirty, bathtub had a hole in it. Worst than this, middle of the night I wake up because a centipede was crawling on my alarm. There were flies and cockroaches in the rooms. I Wonder how this hotel has a license to operate business. I advise no one should go near this hotel.

Night property manager was very helpful. We were traveling with a dog and the back section of the hotel for guests with dogs was not very appealing. The room was musty and bathroom dirty. Rooms need updating.

The personnel were very courteous and friendly both at check in and check out. There was a dead cockroach in the room and the bathroom room had slashes. The over all look is very dated. Beds were clean and comfortable. At 7:30am There was barely any breakfast, only enough waffle mix to make one full waffle. Only one type of cereal apples.

Needs to be closed
This hotel is older and in great need of updating. Pool was unavailable (green and nasty looking.) Stairs in rear should be condemned. TV was not functional. Coffeemaker overflowed everywhere. Microwave setting (defrost/cook) just spun and could not be set to cook.
