Love the private beach. The view from our balcony overlooking the ocean as well as the sunsets was amazing. Thank you Gabbiano Azurro for upgrading our room to a Junior Suite! The staff in the hotel was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast selections were excellent. Lunch by the beach was very good and dinner at Blu was delicious. This hotel is superb!!!

One of the best hotels I've ever experienced.
Everything about this stay was incredible. Panoramic sea views from our room, a dreamy beach with the fluffiest white sand and turquoise, calm shallow water. The hotel team gave outstanding customer care from start to finish. The food in the restaurant was delicious and if you really want to treat yourself, dine with the gazebo on the beach - just breathtaking. The pool was lovely. The location of the hotel was fantastic as the golfo aranci has a lot to offer in terms of boat trips and dolphin watching. The breakfast buffet had a generous selection. I will definitely return to this hotel. The staff go above and beyond and are so professional.

Excellent hôtel où je retournerais bien mais je ne mets pas 5 étoiles pour 2 choses, premières le prix des chaises à la mer alors que le prix des chambre est déjà important et en prenant l’apéro le soir, pas d’en-cas alors que dans tous les autres restaurants c’est le cas donc nous sortions de l’hôtel…

Stunning beach area! A short walk (about 2 km) to the port where there were a multitude of restaurants to dine at while watching the sunset.

Incredible property in an incredible setting. Stayed here on one leg of our honeymoon, upon telling Claudia at recpetion, she upgraded us to a junior suite. Let us check in early, and prior to our room being ready gave us towels for us to use the pool and all their facilities as we waited. Upon checking in to our room our bags were brought up to our room already and prosecco waiting on ice. These are small details but really set the hotel apart form others- great 5 star service. (Claudia at recpetion was extremly attentive, nice and overly accommodating for the duration of our stay- 5/5 service from her.) Property is clean and directly on the beach- access to private beach and chairs (for a fee). Beach is clean and private area is quiet and not over crowded- beach bar at hotel within walking distance. Food at restaurant is good- can be pricey, especially for lunch portions- but quality was very good. Hotel is within walking distance to shops, supermarket and a number of quality restaurants. 15 minute walk direclty to main Golfo Aranci pier. Overall enjoyable stay and great property- would come back.

Great hotel, superb friendly and helpful staff. Lovely beach and pool. Very clean and well maintained..Good breakfast options, menu in main hotel somewhat limited but plenty of other good restaurants nearby. Rooms very good , ensure a sea view option.

Fantastic beachfront hotel with pool
This was a one night and following day stay and we loved it!! It had everything, helpful smiling staff, access to a beautiful beach with turquoise water (shallow) and a fabulous swimming pool. We took the half board option and the food was delicious. The price was good value and it was quite close (30mins) from the airport. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Hi overall experience was amazing , however upon arrival the front desk employee just upgrade our friends room who booked it directly from the hotel and did not even offer us any upgrade , maybe because we booked through Expedia , not sure. I felt it was not fair , he could do better job , not in front of us. cleanest was grate , food grate , services good. Only i was curious that towels looks clean but gray , maybe its some sort of organic wash .

This hotel is pure elegance and perfection in every way. From the moment you walk into the beautiful and serene lobby, the friendly staff is there to help with your every need. We had a last minute change in our schedule and the management and staff of Gabbiano Azzurro went out of their way to accommodate us. Our rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The cleaning staff was so efficient, by the time we came back from eating, our room was already made up for the day. The breakfast buffet had an abundant amount of options for every dietary need. We spent most of our time at the pool and the beach. The crystal clear water is like nothing you have every seen. The hotel Is perfectly located so that you can walk to many restaurants or take a stroll along the beautiful Golfo Aranci lungomare. Gabbiano Azzurro was the perfect hotel for our us to relax and enjoy the beauty of Sardinia. A special thank you to Signora Antonella who has a true gift for making her guests feel special. Grazie mille, alla prossima.

A localização é muito boa com uma parte da praia reservada para os hóspedes. Atendimento na praia poderia ser melhorado. O café da manhã excelente! O restaurante falhou em 2 refeições: tivemos q devolver os pratos para cozinha! A recepção foi fantástica: reserva de táxi e barco. O Golfo Aranci é um local muito agradável com excelentes praias e fora da badalação turística de Porto Rotondo e Porto Cervo. Gostei muito. O passeio à Tavolara e Arquipélago da Maddalena são imperdíveis!

Just spent 11 nights here and it was super, staff is great and friendly, private beach is good and very good breakfast, I would highly recomend this hotel. Lots of great restuarants in walking distance

Traumhaft, aber auch ein paar Abstriche
Das Hotel ist phantastisch gelegen, direkt am wunderschönen und äusserst feinen Sandstrand. Das Personal war immer zuvorkommend und engagiert, obwohl ihnen die Saison wahrscheinlich schon in den Knochen steckte. Es gibt verschiedene Restaurants und Bars für die Verpflegung, auch auswärts ist in Laufnähe genug an Auswahl vorhanden. Das Hotel liegt in einer der vielen grösseren und kleineren Buchten. Durch die dadurch spezielle Akustik war die Fähre, deren Maschinen laufen die ganze Nacht durch obwohl sie sich nicht bewegten, die ganze Nacht deutlich zu hören - oder man schliesst die Fenster und schaltet die Klimaanlage ein, was auch nicht leiser und sinnvoller ist. Hoffentlich nur coronabedingt fehlten im Badezimmer die kleinen Accessoires wie Zahnbürste und Pasta, Ohrstäbchen etc. - in einem Hotel mit diesem Anspruch und von dieser Klasse eigentlich schade. Wirklich störend war aber das Management beim Frühstück, wo es zu einer absurd langen Schlange und Wartezeit am einzigen Stand kam. Die Auswahl dort war zudem sehr übersichtlich, das Personal gehetzt. Um zehn wurde dennoch pünktlich zugemacht. Das führte dazu, dass alle von allem nahmen, da ein zweites Anstehen kaum möglich war. Ein Gefühl wie in der Kantine am Arbeitsplatz, wer es nicht missen will... In anderen Hotels gab es entweder vorher abgepackte Portionen, die einfacher zugänglich waren oder mehrere Theken. Ich verstehe aber, dass das für andere nicht so relevant ist.

Every advice and point of view gives us inspiration for new measures that are very useful in serving you better. We don't like how we are forced to display the food in the buffet behind glass due to the Covid. We can't wait to serve breakfast like before: the food on offer is still the same but we understand that the way how it is presented is less tempting! This is the safest way we've found to avoid the waste of packaging material that is needed for every single portion of food. It isn't only less pleasant to see, but it also requires the use of far more personnel than necessary. This was a win win for us.
This was a hotel for us to recharge after just getting married on the Amalfi coast and it didn't disappoint. We were upgraded to a room/suite with a private pool on the roof and honestly if I had known how amazing it would be I wouldn't have gambled on the upgrade. If your going to be out all day of course you have to balance the cost but if your just relaxing then this was the best room we could have wished for. The staff and cleaning staff were very courteous which always helps and really a win for us. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance as well as shops to stock up the mini bar.

Unfreundliches Servicepersonal. "Abfertigung"beim Frühstück. Abendessen nicht besonders gut, dafür teuer. Zimmer hellhörig. Vom Flur dringt das Licht ins Zimmer. Der angepriesene Privatparkplatz ist nur für Motorräder zugänglich, da die Einfahrt zu niedrig ist; somit muss in der Strasse parkiert werden. Preis/Leistung stimmt eindeutig nicht.

We loved this place! It is a gorgeous property with large bathrooms and an amazing view all around. The staff couldn’t be any nicer, loved the easy beach access, and the breakfast was the best we have ever had by a property. The restaurant was good and the location was easy walking distance into town.

Great location, but overall experience is mediocre
Nice hotel that sits beautifully on the beach. Stunning view of the Gulf of Aranci. Friendly and speedy front desk service. Beautiful lobby and bar area. We had booked a “Classic Quadruple Room” for the four of us and received a tiny room on the 2nd floor facing the street, stuffed with a queen-size and a bunk bed. There was literally no room left to put and open a suitcase (other than on the bed). It didn’t look like a room designed for 4 people but rather than a standard room in which they managed to cram a bunk bed. The bunk bed had a broken rail so had to put the upper mattress on the floor to be on the safe side. We didn’t complain at the front desk but I think that as a guest, you shouldn’t have to explain that family doesn’t like a totally cramped room. And when they prepare a room like that with little care, it tells you a lot about the attitude of the hotel operator towards guests and customers. At least the room was clean and quiet. On the hotel premise, there is a nice saltwater pool facing the seaside. The pool is however unheated and quite cold at this time of the year. You can have bar service at the pool but you need to call the bartender. The pool must not be used during pm times per hotel policy which is really absurd. WiFi is spotty, slow and basically useless. Breakfast buffet was ok but not great, waiters don’t care to collect empty plates on the table.

Stunning hotel, stunning location
Very lovely area of the island, we went off-season,but still a fab place to have a relaxing break. The hotel is superb, staff very welcoming, can't do enough for you, work very hard and attend to your every need. A particular thank you to the member of staff who cleaned and tidied our room (220) every day and kindly took all our beach stuff in off the balcony to stop it getting wet when it rained! The breakfast was amazing, and all the staff serving us were fantastic even though they were rushed off their feet!

Hotellet var helt ok men med tanke på priset hade vi förväntat oss mer. Som jag förstår det var ena delen av hotellet nytt och den andra delen lite äldre (sliten) och där bodde vi. Golfo Aranci är inget ställe vi kommer åka tillbaka till, känns som att det är en ort som är på väg att avvecklas vilket ledde till att restaurangutbudet var väldigt litet. Dock var 1 av tjejerna extremt hjälpsam och bokade en fantastisk båtresa åt oss!

Dissapointed with price paid in relation to room. Instead of charging for sunbeds perhaps they should use the same card system as was used for beach towels. Regretfully the beatiful beach did have plastic and paper waste. Perhaps get more involved in caring for environment around property.

Excellent location. Right on the beach and an easy walk to the cute town, with restaurants and shops. Beautiful bright lobby, friendly staff, great beach (sandy, easy to swim), and decent rooms.

-Personal sehr freundlich -Parkmöglichkeit des Hotels nur für kleine Autos, ansonsten kostenlose Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe. - Zimmer sehr sauber, ausser Vorhänge in die Jahre gekommen - grosses Frühstücksbuffet, wobei bzgl Sauberkeit drej mal schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Einmal war die Kaffeekanne nicht sauber (alte Milchreste am Rand), „saubere“ Teller am Buffet waren dreckig und an einem Tag war ein Käse etwas verschimmelt. - Für mich unnötig: Handtücher wurden im Zimmer 2* täglich gewechselt...
