The Hotel is a nice clean hotel with a beautiful swimming pool, greatly located for the yumbo center nightlife. Food was nice and fresh and the restaurant was really clean. Good coffee and fresh orange juice, although the toasters need updating, they are too slow! Unfortunately, due to the carnival the music from the Yumbo centre was unbearably loud up to 04:30 and there was no scape from it, and also the room I had on the first floor, shared a wall with the pool bar and the noise started really early in the morning. So not a place for sleeping and relaxing.

Great hotel, friendly staff, location is prime, clean rooms and good breakfast buffet. Overall super happy with my stay. The hotel itself sports a little outdated interior design, but aside from that everything is great.

Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall. Ausstattung etwas veraltet, insbesondere die quietschenden Matratzen und die zu kurzen Betten sollten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Das Essen ist meistens sehr gut und vieles frisch. Personal sehr freundlich. Leider viele einfache All-Inclusive-Göste, die auch gerne früh morgens die Liegen am Pool reservieren. Viele Raucher darunter. Das Hotel sollte das Angebot daher überdenken. Wer das Yumbo und LGBT Atmosphäre mag, ist perfekt aufgehoben.

Todo mediocre y un poco " anticuado" en tres años no se han gastado un bote de pintura en mantenimiento. Comedor y buffet muy pequeño para la cantidad de huéspedes. Piscina lo mismo , hamacas amontonadas y en un estado pesimo, guarro, nada higiénico al final donde se ponen los pies, todo negro y gastado. Muchas escaleras para llegar al lobby y recepción.

I've stayed at the Neptuno a few times now and always enjoyed it. Friendly staff, good food, comfortable rooms, relaxed atmosphere. Right next to the Yumbo centre if you're there for the nightlife

It was ok. I’ve stayed in other hotels in playa del ingles and this one wasn’t a favourite. The room decor was not as nice. But what really brought my rating down for the experience at check out. During check in I had been given a cardboard card to obtain a towel. I told the receptionist I didn’t need one as I brought my own but he still gave me the card. I didn’t read the back of the card but apparently it said I had to hand it back in or I would get a €20 fine. When I checked out, I didn’t have the card as it was never pointed out to me that I had to return this rice of cardboard when I checked in. Thankfully I found the card in the bin in my room but this seemed a way of conning guests out of another €20.

Not best place for holidays.
They have the most noisy housekeeping ever. You will not enjoy your holidays. You will wake up 8 AM because lady will be moving all furnitures in room above. Reception, location, cleanless is OK. Just housekeeping staff is doing everything to wake up you. Topic reported to reception so they know well who is writing review.

Reseñar que, si bien nos adjudicaron una muy buena habitación para nuestro gusto y petición (todas las habitaciones vienen a ser mas o menos iguales de tamaña y diseño), en última planta (5ª), esta habitación tenía un ruido terrible que procedía de un equipo de climatización ubicado en el tejado, ruido que no se podía eliminar, por lo que nos cambiaron de habitación, a otra de igual tamaño y distribución pero muy peor vista y en planta 3ª. Deberían solucionar el serio problema del importante ruido. Personal muy amable (recepción, camareros, cocineros, personal de mantenimiento... Variedad de comida en desayuno y cena, bien de calidad, preparados de cocina en directo muy buena, ofreciendo el cocinero preparación al gusto del cliente (contratamos media pensión). No utilizamos la piscina por hacer turismo diario. Buen nivel de limpieza. Muy cómodo tener aparcamiento en el hotel, si hay plaza disponible (no tuvimos problemas para aparcar), incluido en el precio.

Great hotel
Had a great few days staying here. Room was very clean and the bar/pool area have a nice atmosphere, and are surprisingly quite quiet considering the proximity to the Yumbo. Food was of good quality - personally I preferred the a la carte lunch at the pool bar to the buffet, although that was still good (especially the desserts!). I would definitely stay again in future.

Séjour très agréable et chambre très propre ! Le personnel est très à l’écoute et réponds à toutes les demandes en plus d’être gentil à tout instant ! Petit bémol sur la température de la douche qui a été réparé au cours du séjour et manque peut-être un peu d’animation et d’activité pour nous qui sommes plus actifs. En somme un très bon séjour, nous conseillons cet hôtel !

Don't miss out on the All inclusive option
First impression wasn't great, but I'm glad it changed over the days to come. Staff in the reception demanded a voucher, even though they saw my reservation and that it was paid for. Eventually they accepted me forwarding the booking confirmation from hotels dot com. But be prepared that you might have to do this. Apart from this incident I was very happy with my stay at Neptuno. I opted for an all inclusive alternative and must say that the food and variation of items served during breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. High quality, and great flavors, with a mix of local, regional and international kitchens, lots of options and great presentations. Also the alcohol included was not only restricted to the cheapest of the cheapest brands, but with a nice variation and also including cocktails in the bar. Staff was also friendly, smiling and welcoming, with a very personal touch, adjusting to whom they were interacting with. The room was nice and comfortable although housekeeping seemed to have not looked under the bed before my arrival as it wasn't vacuumed under there. Despite this I found the rest of the room clean and tidy, and quite recently refurbished, making the bed comfortable and interiors feel nice.

Great staff. Always happy to help. They all seemed to work very hard yet managed to do so with a smile. Location is good. Pool nice and clean. I am regular visitor here and will continue to be so.

Bad start good finish
Very stressful arrival having to walk 2 miles with our case because roads closed due to carnival. But the hotel receptionist was lacking empathy or understanding and was demanding I sent the confirmation from hotels.com - despite receiving a message from the hotel only 30min prior to our arrival. I was stressed and tired and flustered. So not a good start but the hotel staff redeemed themselves- good breakfast and very comfortable room

Falling in to disrepair
Nice location but the hotel I feel is falling in to disrepair restaurant and bar air broken for years which makes u feel uncomfortable. Shower tray in room was broken and poorly repaired which still leaked so water poured out on to the floor Air con in room wasn't working very good either Hotel insists on men wearing trousers, where females can wear what the like which I think is unfair after all the restaurant is not la cate it's just buffet after all the female don't even dress up for dinner a couple turn upon hot pants and the rude manager though that was acceptable Steam and sauna didn't work either Sound proofing needs to be improved too

An der wohl aus den 80/90er kommenden Unterkunft und Liegenschaft ist nichts auszusetzen. Nur ein Hinweis auf der Buchungsplattform fehlt, dass in dem sehr guten, sauberen, freundlichen Hotel und in der direkten Umgebung nicht die Regenbogengesellschaft die Minderheit ist.

Gute, wenn auch laute Lage. Viele störende Raucher die überall Rauchen. Zimmer Hellhörig und sehr viele Liegenreservierer, den man dort leider nicht Herr wird. Personal übrigens sehr gut, höflich und aufmerksam! Koffertransport durch viele Treppen, ohne Aufzug, fast schon unzumutbar für ein 4-Sterne-Haus. Aber trotz dieser Probleme überlegen wir doch noch einmal dieses Haus zu buchen! Vielleicht nimmt man unsere Kritik ernst und kann an entsprechenden Stellen eingreifen?
