The best hotel for my two-weeks of honeymoon.
The best hotel for my two-weeks of honeymoon in Spain. I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The view from this hotel was incredible and fascinating. All the people working in here were so friendly and kind. I felt like I am staying in my family's house. Room was so clean and eco-friendly. Breakfast was the most healthy food in my trip and the menu was various enough. I would like to visit this place again in the near future.

I’ve been here twice now. Wonderful hotel surrounded by nature. Hotel staff is very friendly and offer great service. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had and I can highly recommend the dinner as well. Room and bed are comfortable. You can walk to the village and to hiking areas. I’ll definitely be coming back.

YOU MUST STAY HERE. It is a 10 out of 10. It is a little piece of Heaven up in the hills above the town of Monochil not far from Granada. Patricia and her staff care immensely about their guests. The detail in their interior design to their commitment to sustainability is noticed. The food is incredible. You have to have atleast one dinner with them. I can’t say enough good things. Will return.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views
We loved our stay in superior room. It was spacious and spotless with really comfortable bed and pillows. The terrace was big with chairs and tables -and the view! Breakfast was delicious, some of the food changing every day (small bites, salads, cakes). We had also dinner in the restaurant every night. It costs 40€ per person and includes 4-5 different meals. It is a bit costly but better option than driving to the town (walking is not recommended at least during darker season: the road is narrow and way back is uphill). The dinner was delicious with mostly local ingredients.

Escapada relax y desconexión.
Hemos podido disfrutar de dos días de desconexión y relax en este fantástico hotel rural. La atención recibida por parte del personal fue excelente. Recomiendo disfrutar de esas cenas tan ricas en la terraza por la noche, ese ambiente de luces y música. Escapada del 10. Para repetir.

nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait:gentillesse des propriétaires et du personnel - propreté de la propriété ,de la partie commune et des chambres.Belle piscine avec une vue magnifique sur la Sierra. Fantastisk beliggenhed, udsigt og natur
Et vidunderligt hotel med den mest enestående udsigt og beliggenhed midt i naturen - og alligevel i gåafstand til Monachil. Vandrer du, er der en afmærket (gul/hvid) vandrerute lige udenfor hotellet, hvilket varmt kan anbefales, og som efter et par timers vandring kan kombineres med andre ruter, herunder turen langs floden, som er et must. Havde 3 overnatninger i et ‘superior double with terrace, hvilket var skønt. Rummeligt værelse med meget behagelig seng, stort/åbent badeværelse og bruser samt terrasse med havemøbler og fantastisk udsigt, som vi nød rigtig meget. Værelset bærer præg af, at det har nogle år på bagen - rengøringen er i top. Skøn morgen med fint udvalg og mulighed for at vælge forskellige former for æg og andet tilbehør, som serveres fra terrassen. Spiste på hotellet én aften, hvor vi fik deres menu, hvilket varmt kan anbefales. Rigtig god service fra alle medarbejdere. Wifi-dækningen er rigtig dårligt, så hvis I skal bestille billetter til Alhambra eller lignede, så gør det inden jeres ophold, herunder download lydbøger, e-bøger og podcasts.

Erg mooi gelegen kleinschalig hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Eigenaresse maakt zelf iedere avond een vastgesteld 4 gangen diner met lokale producten. Zeker een aanrader voor stellen die van rust houden

Wunderschönes familiengeführtes Hotel mitten in den Bergen der hier beginnenden Sierra Nevada. Man wird sehr freundlich und persönlich empfangen und durch seinen Aufenthalt begleitet. Wunderschöne, saubere Anlage und Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, welches man auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf die Berge einnehmen kann. Abends kann man an einem sehr leckeren Dinner teilnehmen, welches die Hausherrin selbst zubereitet. Ca. 15 Autominuten nach Granada. Die Anfahrt zum Hotel fiel uns im Gegensatz zu anderen (laut Bewertungen) überhaupt nicht schwer. Liegt vielleicht daran, dass wir in der Nähe der Berge leben. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Notre arrivée en Andalousie s’est bien passée, accueillis dans le gîte familial de Patricia. Chambre propre et confortable, accueil très chaleureux et bienveillant, vue splendide que ce soit des chambres, du restaurant ou de la piscine. Le repas proposé le soir est très qualitatif.

Wunderschönes, mitten in Natur gelegenes Hotel
Das kleine, aber feine Hotel La Almunia del Valle können wir nach unserem einwöchigen Aufenthalt wärmstens empfehlen. Die Gastgeber und das gesamte Hotelpersonal sind äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Garten und die das Hotel umgebende Landschaft sind vor allem in den Morgenstunden wunderschön. Am Abend kann man sich auf Wunsch von der köstlichen regionalen Küche der Gastgeber verwöhnen lassen. Wir danken für die entspannten Tage!

“Las instalaciones fabulosas Vistas a la montaña que no tiene precio La paz. Tranquilidad. Todo. Los dueños como los empleados muy atentos y te hacias sentirte como en tu casa. Lo que no me gustó es que No tienen restaurante pero te ofrecen la cena y hay que destacar que la cena fue estupenda, aciertas cenando allí. Sin embargo para comer has de irte fuera del hotel. Me tocó un día con 40 grados y el AC no funcionó, así que el confort de la habitación fue malo por este motivo. El wifi es muy malo e inestable y hay poca cobertura con el móvil. La zona de la piscina estupenda, así como la decoración del hotel y habitaciones.

Ruhige Lage ideal zum Entspannen, toller Blick auf die Landschaft, familiäre Atmosphäre bei der man sich sehr willkommen gefühlt hat. Das Abendessen, welches man nach Belieben zubuchen kann, war hervorragend, was man bei einem Preis von 35 € p.P. (ohne Getränke) aber auch erwarten kann. Die Auffahrt zum Hotel über die schmale, steile Straße ist für ungeübte Autofahrer sicher eine kleine Herausforderung.

This was a fabulous place to stay and explore Granada and the Sierra Nevada by car. Nothing about the place could be faulted. The hilly parking area could be tricky to negotiate, but the views and excellence of the hotel made any parking issues totally worthwhile. We will be going back as soon as we can!

The overall attention to detail and quality was very good and to Patricia and her team really made you feel at home. We dined in the restaurant and the quality and service were both excellent. A wonderful place to stay and relax

beautiful location in a national park area just 15 min from Granada; stunning view on the Sierra Nevada; excellent quality food for both breakfast and dinner - plenty of vegetarian options; exceptional hospitality; make sure to try the hike nearby!
