Best hotel in Grand Rapids
We have stayed here for 3 years now while on a fishing trip. Love the location, rooms, and restaurant is the best. Price is right! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel, it will not disappoint.

We have stayed in this hotel twice. It is nice but the breakfast isn't the greatest.

Nice hotel.
The room was nice and staff were friendly. We were really disappointed in the breakfast. It was served from 7 to 9:30. We went to breakfast at 8 am. The only egg dish that was there was a potato dish with a sprinkling of eggs. I did not find much else except a banana muffin to eat. We checked the choices when we left breakfast and the lukewarm egg dish and it was still the same. I guess if it were close to the end of breakfast time it would have made more sense to be short of food. I had anticipated some scrambled eggs and some pastry choices as most hotels have when breakfast was included. It was disappointing.

Overally, a positive stay - would likely stay again if in Grand Rapids. Would bring own pillows though!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was huge, and the shower is amazing. The restaurant had a pasta bar the night we stayed, and the food was excellent. The best part is the pricing. Both the lodging and restaurant prices are very reasonable.

The motel is very nice. The room was nice but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The shower had mold in the corners and around the bottom where the wall meets the shower floor. It also was a little expensive for what you got.

Comfy lodge with water park and good restaurant
Loved pool and hot tub experience. Nice bar and restaurant, good selections. We had a pesto sandwich and a lobster fettucine. Friendly staff.

Wonderful stay!
Spacious, well-designed room, comfortable decor, welcoming staff. Great dining-one of best meals I've ever had. Next time we'll stay longer!

We've stayed at Timber Lake Lodge several times as we have family in the Grand Rapids area - we have never been disappointed. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. The temp in the room took a bit of time to get adjusted correctly but all and all a very good experience.

Timberlake Lodge
I stopped for a night at the Timberlake Lodge Event Center due to bad weather in the area and it was the perfect stay after a day of driving in heavy rain. My good experience started with the excellent front desk staff who were helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed provided a perfect night's sleep. And the shower was amazing. It had great pressure supplied through it's multiple shower heads and had enough room for several people. The only problem with the property is the horrible wifi. It had a very weak signal in my room and would not stay connected. Fortunately the front desk staff provided me with an ethernet cable that got me connected.

Very nice hotel
Two complaints; the bed was WAY too soft and we weren't able to use the pool because it didn't open up until 9am. When your staying at hotel with small children, waiting until 9am is like having to wait until noon.

Beautiful lodge look in town
The restaurant on the site had great tasting food and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal greatly !

Friendly and helpful staff, but spotty wi-fi
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wi-fi in our room was very spotty. Walking up and down the halls with my iPad, I could watch the signal strength wax and wane. The front desk gave me an Ethernet cable, which got my laptop connected, but I had to sit in the front lobby to use my iPad.

Happy Stay, Plan on Staying Again
We booked a King Suite and loved the room, needed a table for a board game and the room had everything we needed. Boys had fun at the pool, great breakfast in the morning and location was perfect for what we needed.

Very Nice Hotel!
The pool area is Fabulous! The breakfast buffet is wonderful too. They offered an extention cord and a step stool for my C Pap machine as there were no plug-ins readily available. The hair dryer also requires an extension cord. Many nice pillows provided. The beds are a tad soft as far as support goes. Overall it was a geat stay, price was worth it.

Great Experience
This is the first time I have stayed at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was an awesome complimentary breakfast buffet. The staff were great. I had a problem with my room door not locking consistently and when I reported it to the front desk, it was promptly fixed. I will be visiting this city regularly for business and will plan to stay at this hotel every time.

Nice hotel and breakfast buffet was excellent!
Hotel was nice and breakfast was great. we called when we were on our way tot try to get an early checkin and they did have our room ready when we got there. The room was clean, but we did see a few 'hairs' in the shower that weren't ours. Other than that we loved tha palce and would return.

Romantic Lodge with Fun Pool and Free Breakfast
This is an elegant hotel with rustic charm and modern amenities. Our bathroom had a shower built for two with custom tile work and granite counters. Nice big TV and comfortable furnishings. The pool area is big and bright, with lots of windows plus a big water slide that twists outside the building and spits you out like a torpedo. Pool hot tub is big enough for a crowd. Breakfast buffet is in a large, pleasant room and includes scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, DIY waffles, biscuits, gravy, sausage, toast, muffins, juice, etc.

Great family stay!
My wife and I stayed in the King suite with our 3 young kids who could all fit on the large pull out in the living room area. The separation between the bedroom and living room was great, albeit without a door. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful, and the breakfast was much better than most. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool facility, waterslide and kiddie areas.

Pleasing stay.
The lodge is beautiful with hardwood floors in the lobby, a beautiful stone fireplace, and a grandfathers clock. There is also a gorgeous staircase. Our room was equally nice. The free breakfast was good with a variety of items. We ate at the grill in the lodge which was excellent as well. My only disappointment was that it was not located on a lake.

Great Famiily and Pet Hotel
We had a fantastic experience at the Timberlake. We were able to bring our dog into our room and the restaurant delivered their full menu to our room which was very convenient with having young children. This also saved us $ as we had our own drinks. The staff was extremely helpful and they seem to have thought of everyone. They had pet rooms and non-pet rooms and they even had "adult" only swim times. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

A great stop for one night or several.
Timberlake Lodge is posh and has personality, built in an arts and crafts style, suited to Northern Minnesota. The rooms are generous in size and the bathrooms are very large and elegant. The dining room and bar are very nice too, saving a trip out to find something acceptable after a long day on the road. The chef is very good and the menu reflects the local produce. Even the included breakfast is worth getting up for, with something for everyone's early morning needs.

Timberlake Lodge Grand Rapids MN - a nice place
This is a new hotel in Grand Rapids, it has a nice northwoods ambience, the pool and waterslide are lots of fun, and the rooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet is definitely all that it is advertised to be. Room rates are a little on the high side, but the hotel does offer lots of nice amenities that make it a good value nonetheless.
