Staff was very pleasant and welcoming, loved shampoo and conditioner and body wash. It was pet friendly. Nice restaurant on site. I gave it a 4 star on cleanliness because all though I had a dog my room smelled a lil much like other dogs. Other than that it was great. I would go back to this place. It’s beautiful to walk around

Our room smelled like urine, I was there for 2 nights but my nose burned all night so badly from the strong smell while sleeping, I had to leave after 1 day. Didn’t want to deal with the drama of asking for my money back, they don’t look like they care or Expedia cares for that matter. The room should not be rented out . 310

Nice property and setting but I cracked my door open foe fresh air and very soon I heard loud talking very close. I opened the door to find out who was talking so loud at the crack of my open door and a man with an unleashed pitbull dog was right there. The dog attempted to rush in my room and I instantly kicked him in the head at which point the man started yelling at me so I ordered him away. It took 3 calls to front desk and over an hour before a security guard knocked on my door to inquire. Horrible situation.

This property is very dirty and unsanitary. Most of the furniture in the rooms is stained and smells of urine. Most of the blinds are broken in the rooms and do not work correctly. This hotel needs a total remodel. I really don’t recommend staying here unless you want to sleep in a room that smells like urine and has questionable, stains all over the furniture and walls and carpet. Beware!

Decent bang for the buck
The cottage was spacious ,but a lot dated and a little musty. I would likely stay here again as the price was reasonable. The heater was barely adequate as it took awhile to heat the place up, but after that it was comfortable.

Great receptionist and very helpful, beautiful grounds during this time of year but room 511 was probably the dirtiest room I've stayed in. A lot of stains and marks on the walls, tissue box stuck to the table, assorted holes in most walls and bent blinds that barely worked, apparently some renovations are being made, maybe this room was missed

The rooms have not been remodeled probably since the 1980s and when I was there there was two people that checked in and then came back and wanted their money back cuz they said they could not stay at this hotel it's a shame because the surrounding properties is beautiful

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time was two years ago in a Chalet. It’s out of date and the kitchen was dirty. We lost power to the living room and kitchen during our stay and no one could solve the issue. Two years later thought we try again and stayed in a . Cabin. Same thing lost power to the entire cabin. Slept in the freezing cold all night. Called the next morning the flipped breaker power on. Left all day came back and as soon as we tried to start our dinner, power out again. Breaker flipped. Out again. Couldn’t cook. Couldn’t run lights. We had to choose between lights and heat. They did offer us another cabin which we packed up all of our things at 10 pm to move and that cabin was dirty. Then they offered us a a second floor hotel room and there was no way we were going to move all our stuff again to the second floor with no elevator. We would not be able to go to bed till after midnight by this time. Thank god we had solar lanterns and a propane grill so we could eat and have a little light. The manager wasn’t very caring and at check out said she would offer us a partial refund. Haven’t received that yet.
