Pleased you had a great shower . Had you have booked direct I would have allocated you the same room with a wood heater that you stayed in on you first visit . Unfortunately I did not have that information before you arrived..booking direct pays off but I hope you enjoyed everything else just as much as your first visit. For future reference when doing reviews .. and they are only an ok score please either let properties know of any that has influenced your score so that we know what you are thinking.. we cannot improve service not the quality of your stay if you’re not letting anyone know why you didn’t score 10/10 .. or same .. and please be direct .. Ie water no hot enough for the shower .. please remember we can only fix what we know about!!! Be it a quick fix .. Ie light bulb Or a short or long term project . Nothing wrong with constructive criticisms and always make mention at reception during your stay as it is easier to clarify the direct issues.. ie the building is old or dated but that comment does not clearly indicate your exact problem ... please feel free to get in contact.

We are still trying to find the ants. Couldn’t find any during cleaning either side of your stay .. let management know about these issues if they are a bother to you .. we didn’t realise when you asked for the fly spray at 11:30 pm .. sorry ..,.

We have written 2 responses both rejected .. Brett the reception door was lock as there is not always someone there but there is a phone number on the door for clients to call .. there is not enough to do in that area to spend all day there .. we believe that somehow there was a communication mixup that was the cause of problems with your booking .. we apologise for that but at times cannot be avoided .. we did try a number of times to call you to apologise for the mixup but our attempts failed .. As far as pricing our prices are still the same as 4 1/2 years ago Directly through reception so maybe booking direct next time may help the pocket as there are no commissions to pay ..

All you have to do is ask and it happens! That’s why you get told at check in that we leave you to your space for the duration of your vacation but happy to help by request .. the majority of our customers are relieved not to have strangers rummaging through their rooms and interrupting their time.. please understand all properties don’t operate the same .. it’s all individual.. if you needed anything during your vacation all you had to do is enquire at reception or call the number on the door.. had you made the enquiry during your stay it would have happened and you no doubt would have had a more enjoyable experience but unfortunately We can’t change a thing once you have departed.. writing these types of reviews post departure won’t improve your vacation so please in future should you be staying at a property that is not meeting your expectations please let them know and give them the opportunity to make sure your stay is a pleasant experience.. we all aim to create a pleasing experience ..

Great to have your feedback The views are truly stunning... And yes we do our best to be great hosts .. so thanks .. Unfortunately being a large country style property means all aspects won’t be perfect all of the time but that does come with other benefits such as the quiet environment and space outside and the natural environment it is set in . The cattle in the past next door are also lovely to see .. along with all the bird life

Steve thanks for your feedback .. Looks like you might be better off not to book online .. our rooms are not misrepresented on line and this way you could check your room before you book .. Reception does not have someone at the office constantly but a 24/7 number for guests to call is on the reception door .. and is promptly responded to at all times .. and we try to always be pleasant to all guests for their time with us .. as well as making an effort to return anything left behind .. Unfortunately but there is only so much to do in the office .. and it’s nice to get a break outside .. We do not charge a weeks wage for any room here . sorry you didn’t enjoy your time with us .

$4:00 for tea, $4:00 toast -2 slices & not cheap white bread .. we believe is standard price Don’t forget that when booking through companies such as Expedia properties get slugged 15% commission on the full cost of the booking including on gst so Please consider that when making online bookings .. take off 27% for commission, gst and card fees .. but what rate would you consider not extraordinarily overpriced ..?? Keep in mind some customers don’t always book the room online that is the appropriate one for them ..

Unfortunately due to poor service provided to particular areas by the telcos creates problems and requires a little patience .. booking online isn’t always the best way to book .. often you get the best room for the best price by booking direct..

For those wanting a more comfortable stay we do have a number of different rooms .. family room with a couch and wood heater and also a 2 bedroom unit ! Unfortunately online bookings don’t always get you the most appropriate rooms at the best rates .. so happy that you enjoyed all other aspects of your vacation .. We do try to make amazing food that tastes great from fresh ingredients all cooked onsite .. thanks for your positive review ..

Sorry about the position of the sink .. but it was approved like this during the Building of the property as per regulation requirements .. you will be pleased to know that the property has been upgraded a little - new bed covers and has been painted outside .. among other aspects .. we agree it’s is a fantastic location and wonderful beaches close by Thanks for your feedback
