On first arrival we were early but told there was a room available by the receptionist { Tom I think is his name } room 105 on entry the room was dark and dingy, went back to receptionist informed him that the Lights were not working . In fairness he showed me the lights worked from a central switch, but still three lights did not work. The room was cold put the heating on and went out to lunch, returned two hours later and the room was still cold informed the receptionist by this time Sharon was on shift she inspected the room and immediately took charge and told Tom to immediately change rooms he was not pleased but once again Sharon stood firm { Tom did as he was told} Room 304 was excellent as were the rest of the hotel staff ,the food was excellent. Room 105 needs urgent attention cleanliness poor, dirty socks left in the clothes hanger area and dusty shelves this could be down to the lights not working correctly, but no excuses this room is to be avoided to dark obscured windows. If it was not for Sharon taking charge the weekend would have been a disaster but all turned out well, thank you Sharon you rescued our Weekend.
