I stayed at the Greenfield Inn for one night to see the eclipse. This place was disgusting. The sheets on both beds in my room were stained and one had a smiley face drawn on it in ink. There was hair in the tub and the shower head was gross! I asked for fresh sheets and went out to dinner. I came back and there were no fresh sheets. I covered one entire bed with a moving blanket from my truck and used another to cover up. No way was i going to sleep on whatever those stains were. My brother and his wife also had a room here. They found a dead spider and a hair in the sheets of the bed in their room. Their door lock didn't work so the staff offered to give him the master key to use. WHAT? So if it wasn't my brother, who knows who would have been in that room and had access to every room in that place with the master key!? Very disturbing. My brother ended up moving to another room. I rarely provide reviews but felt this needed to be shared. I sincerely hope the owners are willing and able to properly address these health and safety concerns..... and properly price the the rooms.

As for your brother's room, we relocated him to a different room due to a technical issue with the lock and provided him with a comfortable bed. He was very pleased with the service.

Rooms recently updated as in painting, new mattresses which were comfy and bug free, but the dresser drawer was messy with dry wall particles and such, clearly had not been cleaned out. Toilet seat is old. They updated some things but some things still need attention. Couldnt get the tv to change channels. Asked for a remote and they didnt have one, told they would have to have someone else do it next day, which we were gone by then. It served its purpose for the night and it was cheap compared to others in the area.

enjoyable stay.
My stay at the Greenfield Inn was as I hoped it would be. It was located just off the highway but very quiet. As I was attending a funeral, I did not need all the fancy extras that often are provided at a cost, but it had all the things I needed. A refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer and a comfortable bed!!!

I did not like when I was wiping water off the floor it came up black on the towel. The owner said it was a clean place before I checked in. I only stayed because I had drivien 12 hours and was tired. I layed on one of my dog's blankets instead of in the bed. Dog fee was way too high

Refurbishing of the rooms is ongoing. The finished rooms are in good shape. Clean. However, the online writeup states there is free breakfast. There is no breakfast, no coffee, or coffee pots anywhere, the ice machine is broken.

It’s really pretty good
Overall it was good. I would stay there again. Room condition & comfort was good. It was surprisingly quiet & I felt very safe. I think they are making a lot of improvements. Just have an open mind & this place will work for you.

Decent low-cost hotel
It took 10 minutes for clerk to appear at desk to check me in. Hotel room was ok, minimum ammenities as expected. WiFi wasnt strong enough to use. TV had good selection of channels. Near interstate and many good restaurants.

Upon checking in the front desk people are extremely rude they don't communicate or say thank you or anything at all they just sit there and look at you and hand you your card and then upon walking into the room it smelled heavy smoke and drugs there was human feces on the wall and the bathroom and trash on the floor I requested a new room then was told that that would not be possible and that if I didn't like it I could just leave so I dealt with it but needless to say I will not be back!

I first off was happy with the cost $, when I arrived I was excited to be greeted by a positive happy face enthused to be here he took excellent care of me timily and the WiFi is reliable room is clean and well decorated fridge and microwave USB ports near the beds.. doing some remodeling currently but the workers are friendly it's quiet at night I missed the entrance street that needs some pot holes repaired but it wasn't too busy so I was able to avoid any bent rims :)

That place was horriffic. I would not recommend it to dead people. No ice or drinks anywhere on property. Except the liquor store in the parking lot.

False advertising - no breakfast
The reason I booked was because it was cheap and said it had breakfast to go. Well no breakfast and not even coffee. This is false advertising and I wouldn’t have booked if I knew there was no breakfast.

Could not get no ice. The sheets were nasty looking. The staff were not very nice. Not enough shampoo and conditioner. soap was small for two people.

The property was in a good location, and recommended by my sister who had stayed there before. Check-in was difficult - through an acrylic screen w/ only a small opening in an exterior window. Thick accent/inability to speak much English on part of check-in person. She found a translator when we needed to change rooms. The room they gave us first reeked of cigarette smoke, but then they did give us a different room - which reeked of incense, but that was better. We had to ask for extra towels and fortunately the partial roll of toilet paper (no spare) was (barely) enough. (No tissues either.) A/C made thundering noise whenever it kicked on, and something kept beeping (sounded like low battery on a smoke detector in another room?) all night. Hard to sleep. Breakfast was supposed to be included (website still boasts it) but there was NOTHING, not even coffee, and just "Covid" as the excuse. I'm sorry, but we're way past buying that one! :( Won't be staying there again.

Very very dirty and again dirty. Would give place a zero rating. Only stayed 3 houra had to leave couldn't take the smell of the room. Also saw a bug in the bathroom
