Die Lage ist der absolute Traum und es gibt nichts vergleichbares in Grenada, allerdings könnte man ohne großen Aufwand Verbesserungen einführen: Echten statt löslichen Kaffee, ab und zu mal aufräumen rund um den Pool und hinter den Gebäuden auf dem Gelände, den angekündigten Gemüsegarten vielleicht wirklich einführen (Platz ist!), mehr Liegen, oder sie auch nur für Hotelgäste reservieren und nicht auch noch die Gem-Gäste rauflassen, denn es sind zu wenige, ein wenig mehr Freundlichkeit bei einigen Mitarbeitenden, große Flaschen Wasser für Hotelgäste verkaufen, die Matratzen erbneuern, die sind sehr durchgelegen.

The property was well maintained and clean. However, there should be more to do while at the resort. We attended a party on Wednesday night but no functions either Thursday or Friday night were available. My husband loved the Chicken Roti but the Lambi (Conch) I had was terrible. I couldn’t even finish it. It took a long time for food to be served but the staff was very friendly.

Staying at the Kalinigo Hotel is a bit like enjoying the curate's egg, very good in parts but with irritating asides. The beach is superb, one of the best I have enjoyed and the addition of a fresh water pool at the hotel was excellent. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the location was first class, about 15 minutes from the airport. The dining facilities were a little unexpected but very good and very friendly. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days at the Kalinigo but there were some irritations. The TV never worked, not a great problem for us but could be for others. The room safe never worked, again irritating, it only needed a new battery and the whole area needs better looking after. Broken sun beds, broken sun umbrellas and piles of rubbish just left around. Would I stay again, Yes, the overall experience was Very Good so please tidy up the place and sell an really good facility better

This place felt like a hidden gem. It wasn't walking distance to a lot of things, but the trade off was a quiet beautiful beach almost at our doorstep and avoiding the crowds at the more popular beach nearby.

The property needs renovation, the linen and towels are very old and dingy. This is the second time I have stayed there. Staff is excellent but these old sheets and towels need to go. The tiles in the bathroom need steam cleaning and there should be an additional lock on the doors

The resort staff was amazing! Super helpful and welcoming the whole time we were there. You can’t beat the location either. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Kalinago Beach Resort is small, and that is what I liked about it. The beach is about 5 city blocks long. The water is warm and calm.

This is not a Resort at all. No restaurant @ the property. No hairdryer. The chairs @ the beach are old and dirty . The hotel need maintenance in general. The best thing about the hotel is beach and the view. The staff are great.

The room was exceptuonally clean. Bed was suoer comfy and lovely pillows. All sraff were extremly helpful. The pool arra looked a little tired the seats - sunbeds could do with renewing. Overall a pleasant stay as this was booked at extremly short noice (2 hours)

This property is right on the beach, amazing break fast, and you get to have in looking out in the beach. The was huge and a huge bed. Lot of sapce and a large bathroom. Power out out for Euro zone, UK, North America, and the caribbean is availale. You choose to use the pool which is beach side or you walk a few feet in to beach itself. Excellet properity and location is even greater. Wonderful and friendly and accomadating helpful staff. Thank for a wonderful exprience

The property is on one of the nicest beaches in Grenada. It’s fairly private and quiet besides when they herd people from the cruise ships thru the property n to the beach.I’ve stayed here a 4th time recently and have seen the steady decline, especially since Covid. Simple things could b done that just aren’t !I will not be staying here anymore on my travels to Grenada

Hidden Gem
We had a fabulous stay, the hotel was clean & safe with a beautiful beach steps from our ocean view room. THE PROS: This beautiful beach is on a small bay that feels very exclusive with plenty of beach loungers chairs, trees for shade & 2 beachfront bars. This is an idea place for couples, seniors or families. Our room had a lovely oceanfront balcony, a fridge and two four poster beds. The ac and hot water worked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. THE CONS: the hotel is somewhat old, and could use some updated decor. It’s also not in walking distance of any restaurants or grocery stores, the beautiful exclusive location means you will need a rental car or taxi. The food was mediocre at best, and the servers are slow and absent minded. Our stay included breakfast, and they never got it right once..I have a feeling the cook didn’t start until later in the day and the servers tried their best to cook it themselves. Also a bus load of passengers from the cruise ship are dropped off at this beach daily, it won’t affect your pleasure, they only stay 2-3 hours and go back to their ship. All in all I would absolutely return to this hotel, it does need some work yes, but the location is amazing! If you want an exclusive feeling, and truly tropic Caribbean experience & if you’d like to get away from the busy main strip that feels like pretentious Miami than this is the place for you!

Needs a bit of an upgrade. We booked this as it’s on the beach. But too many dogs running freely on the beach. Messing on the beach.

My whole experience was horrible . My last 3 days they had no running water. I called the front desk with my personal phone, they told me water should be on in 5 mins it never came on. There was constant drilling and pounding on the roof every day. The pool had bugs in it. They never once changed my sheets in the 9 days I stayed there. Only gave me 2 clean towels, no clean rags . The phone in the room didn’t work either. I would never stay there again or recommend that anyone does.

Disappointing Stay
The property was run down and needs lots of improvements, updates and/or ground keeping. It was scary just getting there. The road had over grown grass and weeds. It looked abandoned. The shower head barely had a drip. This owner has to put some money into the property. Do not recommend this property.

We undergo landscaping every week to ensure the property is upkept and showcases the beauty of Grenada’s natural vegetation and foliage. However, we will look at doing this more frequently. We wish you had reported the issue whilst with us as we want our guests to be as comfortable possible. Following this review, we have looked at the shower head and note that it is fully functional. We have however replaced the shower head to avoid any issues incase this in an intermittent problem. Again, we are truly to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. Best staff ever!
The people were very friendly! The grounds are full of vibrant Caribbean flowers and bushes. The food was okay- sometimes fried foods over cooked. Drinks were good. Pool clean and very nice. Swim up bar was a nice add in. The beach is beautiful. This hotel is right on a bay that is great for snorkeling and swimming. Live music in bars and restaurants in the area. A 5 minute trip to the grocery store. Room had refrigerator but needs a microwave.

My room offered a beautiful view of the sea, beach and swimming pool. The location was always quiet and peaceful and therefore ideal for rest. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. The 4 poster bed was very comfortable. Room service was excellent.

Staff were friendly and professional but the room was average. For the package I selected, breakfast was very poor. There was no fruit, no juice and no cereal. To compound the matter, for the last two days the TV was useless. I could not look at any live programmes and felt cheated for the $2000 US I paid.

Please note all your breakfast requests were fulfilled via WhatsApp and personal calls. Please note that you were in direct contact with the Manager, who personally called you a few times to find out if you had ordered breakfast and how you were doing. Whenever fruit juices were ordered, it was delivered to your room. Please note these items mentioned must be ordered and do not form part of the Grenadian local breakfast which you ordered daily. On Thursday 11th you contacted the front desk to have someone check the TV because you were unable to continue to watch Mobdro. We tried to resolve the issue but was unsuccessful , the internet was showing connected, however the app appeared to be not working. You were referred to another live broadcast and you were also assisted to sign into your personal tv account. You were pleased with the services rendered. On check out day, Saturday 13th February, there was a nationwide power outage which caused the internet and telephone lines to go down for a while, this matter was soon resolved as quickly as possible. You were offered a late check out free of charge. We thank you once more for selecting our resort and look forward to having another opportunity to serve you in the near future. Jalil Moore

Staff generally seemed resentful I was there. Service seemed to be testing me... In cuttingly aggressive FU postures. In fairness, a few people engaged in a welcoming and gracious way. The bar plays music so loud you will be part of that. Moments of unexpected delight also materialize here. I was seated on the beach to experience the magic as the surf nibbled at the chair

Great views of the beach. It was a very unfriendly environment for children; only one discolored and dirty looking high chair was available and no cutlery suitable for use by children. The back view of the property was in disrepair and looked like a junky. Service in the restaurant was slow and staff were not professionally dressed or seemed energetic. Would not recommend this place to anyone

The staff was not friendly. Staff seemed irritated that we were there requesting services such as a cocktail or meal. Extremely slow service, restaurant was to open at 7 but not ready to seat us until 730, and then coffee by 8. We are happy glass half full type, same comments from other guests.
