Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet, viele historische Elemente wurden erhalten. Die Zimmer bieten alles, was man braucht. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Lage ist zentral, man erreicht die Innenstadt innerhalb 1min zu Fuß. Absolut empfehlenswert.

The hotel is located on very short walking distance of the central square of Groningen. Also, museums, shops, restaurants and theatres are within short walking distance. The staff is professional and helpful. We had a suite. It was clean and well decorated. There is only one, but important, remark to be made. Although the staff during breakfast was very kind and giving perfect service, we were disappointed about the breakfast. The hotel chooses to serve a la carte in stead of a buffet. Which is fine, as long as the hotel provides a menu. Now we just had to mention some items and the rest was improvised by the staff. There was no menu to choose from. This reduced the hotel to a kind of Bed & Breakfast. If you give a breakfast a la carte you should at least give a proper menu. For us this is a reason not to return. The four stars for staff and service is due to the breakfast and not due to the staff. They should have five stars.

One of the nicest hotels in Gröningen
We’ve stayed in Prinsenhof multiple times. A very nice hotel. Nice design, lovely view over the garden this time. Couple of small niggles with shower control not being 100%, and water scalding if you’re not careful

This was one of the loveliest hotels. The staff was kind, and friendly. My mom was injured and they were super sweet to her and helpful. The hotel and the surrounding area was beautiful. We had a great view of the gardens and will definitely book again.

Super Hotel op fantastische locatie
Heel comfortabel verblijft. Goede kwaliteit, perfecte ligging. Wij hebben een Junior Suite genomen en hebben een vakantie gehad die ons altijd bij zal blijven.

Staff was so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Hotel is beautiful, historic, safe and very clean. Location is perfect for walking the downtown area. Definitely will make this my go to hotel when I return to Groningen!

We loved our stay at Hotel Prinsenhof! The staff are absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The room was lovely with great amenities and a fabulous view. The location is fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel!

The check in was very professional and fast and our pet was accepted without any issues. The room was exquisite, tasteful, clean and just as advertised. It is just a wonderful location for exploring Groningen and staying for a business trip. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Nydelig hotell og tilstøtende hage. Mangler en del på oppdatering av soveromsdelen av rommet, blant annet nedkjølingsmulighet. Ikke aircondition, flere vinduer gjenmalt slik at de ikke kunne åpnes. Kirkeklokke som slo hver hele og halve time gjennom natten.

Uitstekende en zeer mooi locatie. Men moet alleen nog wat doen aan de luchtverversing: deze kan niet uitgezet worden, waardoor overdag onnodig geruis op de kamers….

This place is absolutely amazing. The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of town, but in a quiet little nook of the city. The service is great and the rooms are clean and spacious. You can walk to all the restaurants and bars Groningen has to offer, but I would highly recommend to have dinner at the hotel. We had a 5 course meal with wine pairing and besides it being delicious, it was truly a piece of art. I've been in Groningen many times and have stayed in many different places, but this one is the best and has the best location. It's quite expensive, but it's worth it

Enjoyed our stay!
Enjoyed the stay. Room was in the new part of the hotel. Nicely designed. Shame the speaker in the room had an out of date connection - maybe there was Bluetooth??? And could have had a nicer view. Bathtub and bath salts available were appreciated! Breakfast was tasty, and nice restaurant space. And in a lovely corner of Binnenstad.
