Our room was on the top floor and there was a stunning view of the bay just across the road. The two big windows could be opened, so it was never too hot. The room felt light and airy. The only drawback was the location - sandy beaches and the town were not within easy walking distance.

Lovely sunny garden and outside seating area. Nice bar areas and excellent restaurant with an extensive menu good customer service. The daily room housekeeping was excellent. The hotel is on a main road so was noisy at times but our room was at the rear so not too affected by this. I n the hot weather the room could have benefited from air conditioning.

Visit the restaurant, keep the windows open :)
I can highly recommend this hotel! For a three star spot the location is excellent, the level of customer service very good, and the facilities are alright. The only negative thing is that you don’t have an AC in the room so it gets really hot at least on summer. So make sure you keep those windows open. I had a very warm welcoming when I arrived and everything I requested or asked, were handled with professional manner. Also the restaurant at the hotel is actually very good! But I would go and have a breakfast somewhere else.. For its price, La Piette was a money well spent.

My experience of La Piette Hotel
I feel my two-night stay at La Piette Hotel was a good choice. With its convenient location, literally on the sea shore and a short walk from St Peter Port town centre, it helped to make my stay on Guernsey a very nice and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Guernsey and St Peter Port.

A very nice tipical English small Hotel. You can eat and drink in garden and outside. The position is wonderful front the sea. Very kind and profesional staff.

Great hotel in a good area. Food and service very nice. Downside restaurant is also popular with locals who have work night out and can be a little boisterous!

This hotel for staying in for us was not suitable for anyone with knee , hip or leg problems or heart trouble !! Too many stairs on one side of hotel and no lift!! A few of the bedrooms are over the back of building looking into a yard and ongoing noise from industrial kitchen fans . Clanging and banging with dustbins etc . The room was pleasant but very hot hence the window had to be opened ;plus we like air in our room.!! But not that amount of noise !! We both felt the hotel wasn't quite sure if it was a posh hotel or a pub !

A lovely hotel. Has it’s own bar and restaurant so don’t need to go far. Amazing sea view from our room. Staff incredibly helpful. 10- 15 minute walk into main part of town.

More than happy to stay here again
It was a lovely hotel. Good location for walking access to main town area. Room was immaculate and bed very comfy. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and also much cheaper than I would have expected it to be. Nice bonus touch was the locally roasted ground coffee in the room with a pretty little pot to make it in.

Excellent hotel for a Guernsey break.
From the friendly professional reception to the identical check out this hotel provided the ideal base for a long weekend break. Our room in the extension was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The bars and beer garden were nice to relax in and the meals were excellent.

Great location overlooking the sea
Great location with sea views. 10 minute walk into centre of St Peter Port or 2 minute bus trip. Clean, comfortable room. Main road quiet busy, road noise with windows open. We were in room 9 triple room, great sea views. Helpful staff too.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Very nice views across the bay and a convenient 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Some traffic noise from the road immediately outside. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Excellent at catering for guests with food allergies and coeliac disease.

Vue sur la mer = dormir au-dessus de la route côtière limitée à 57km/h. Le pub en-dessous fait aussi du bruit assez tard. La literie pourrait être meilleure. Petit-déjeuner cher pour ce qu'il est. Le reste est très bien.

Wonderful hotel on the Waterfront
My friend and I loved this hotel and would happily stay here again. the only small problem we encountered was we thought the beds were somewhat soft. The location was perfect, just a 10minute walk from the center of town. Our room faced the waterfront and we loved waking to the gorgeous view. the staff were wonderful and so was the food.

Charming hotel by the sea
We only stayed here one night. The hotel is an old manor house with many different levels and no lift. Our triple room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful bathroom. In room beverage service was provided with a large variety of drinks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage while we toured the island. We did not eat there but the dining room and bar were busy. All in all, a very charming hotel.

Lovely Hotel in a Great Location
The hotel is located right on the seafront and in easy walking distance of the town centre. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the food in the restraint was an excellent standard. We will definitely be back.
