Es tut uns sehr leid, von der äußerst ungewöhnlichen Situation zu lesen, dass Sie Kakerlaken gesehen haben. Unser Hotel wird nach einem sehr hohen Standard gereinigt und wir verfügen außerdem über ein professionelles Schädlingsbekämpfungsunternehmen, das jeden Monat vor Ort ist. Da es sich jedoch um ein Hotel mit Zimmern mit nach außen gerichteten Balkontüren und nach außen offenen Fluren handelt, ist es immer möglich, dass ein Outdoor-Insekt in die Zimmer gelangt. Ihr Aufenthalt fand in der Regenzeit statt, in der es zu heftigen Stürmen und Überschwemmungen kommt, was dazu führt, dass Insekten manchmal aggressiver als gewöhnlich Schutz suchen. Es ist völlig ungewöhnlich, dass Gäste ein solches Problem erwähnen, und in den letzten zehn Jahren wurde es nur von höchstens zwei oder drei von vielen Tausend Gästen erwähnt, und es tut uns sehr leid, dass Ihnen dies während Ihres Aufenthalts passiert ist. The design flaw in a few rooms with the sloping of the showers will be corrected in our renovation in a few months. The river outlet you mentioned only affects the condition of the sea during periods of heavy rain, such as during the current rainy season, as there is no runoff during most of the year. We're very sorry to see that you've left the lowest review rating ever received by our hotel. Fisherman's Village, the area we are in, is one of the most popular beachfront tourist locations on the island. Your rating does not seem based at all on the hotel itself, but rather on your feeling about Samui's North Shore which all has the same type of beach. Sediment is caused by weather patterns and the wash-up that can come with specific wind and tide conditions, and can affect all beaches worldwide at different times. It is unfortunate that you would rate the hotel for something that affects hundreds of other hotels on our island's North Shore equally. We ask guests to read all the other reviews of our hotel across various online sources to see that this review does not represent the usual opinion of our guests who typically rave about the hotel's beautiful sea view and beach. It is unfortunate that this guest has given the hotel a poor rating based on the momentary condition of a public beach that is not the property of the hotel and for which the hotel cannot control tide patterns. There are many internationally world-famous 5-star luxury resorts along Samui's North Shore, which would share the exact same type of sand and beach as us. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your review. Your description of the sea is really unusual and not the experience of most of our guests. It may be an unusual weather pattern that caused this to occur, since normally many people are enjoying the beach in our area without any issues.

We are sorry to hear the concerns you have. Our staff cleans the beach in front of the hotel every day, including raking the sand. Unfortunately, sometimes waves bring in debris quickly depending on weather patterns, and we're sorry if this impacted your stay. You may have noticed the murky water due to the weather from recent storms. Most of the hotel's guest rooms feature a European-style open wet shower design. With this design which does not have an enclosed shower space, if you use the handheld shower attachment or point the shower head outward, the water will flow to the rest of the bathroom; however, the drains should clear it up quickly. We're sorry if this shower design was not what you expected. We appreciate all comments and use all feedback to improve our guest experience.
