차웽비치쪽은 숙박비가 높은편이라 그나마 가격대비 고민하다 10만원정도에 예약하고갔는데...1박만하길 잘했어요 예약한 디럭스빌딩은 1층사무실처럼 되어있는 립셉션을 지나 뒷문쪽으로 객실을 올라가야해서 불편하고 립셉션직원들은 그냥저냥... 우선 객실에 곰팡이냄새 습한이불 좁은객실 더블베드룸애 쇼파식이 싱글침대가 있어 좋긴한데...너무 답답어요.. 건물이 분리되어있어 비치 수영장하고는 분리되어있는 느낌 다른 방갈로타입객실들은 가든식이고 비치랑 수영장으로 바로 나갈수있는 장점이 있지만... 객실 컨디션은 좁고 오래되어 마찬가지... 식당직원들은 참 좋았어요 친절하고 상냥한.. 수영장물은 관리안하는지 좀 지저분하고 바로 비치 앞이라는건 좋아요 장기간 여행중이라 고민하다 1박만하고 좀더 나은 다른곳으로 옮겼네요.. 다시 갈마음은 없어요

무선인터넷이 연결 안되어서 무지하게 애 먹었지만 나머지는 모두 만족....앞에 경비 서시는 분들도 친절하고 너무너무 만족함.

차웽시내중심에 위치하여 밤문화를 즐기기엔 최적의 장소이다. 수영장이 바다를 마주보고있는건 좋지만 바다가 깨끗하지는 않다. 아침조식도 별로고 방갈로에 투숙했는데 체크인시 엄청난 모기로 고생을 했다. 하우스키핑에서 모기약과 모기향을 주었는데 모기약을 엄청 뿌려도 모기가 많아 그걸 없애는데 시간을 소비했다 . 차웽시내에서 즐기고싶다면 추천 휴식을 취하고싶다면 비추천이다.

Really great location, right near the actions of Chaweng beach road but set back 100m so you can’t hear any party noise. Which is perfect. Comfy beds, good breakfast, daily housekeeping, good AC. A bargain for the price! Nice and quiet too, the guests staying here were really respectful and quiet.

Helt okej men lite småsunkigt!
Helt okej men betydligt slitnare än på bilderna. Läget är mitt i smeten i Chaweng och nära till affärer, barer och bra restauranger. Hotellet ligger mitt på Chaweng Beach men på en del där tidvattnet stundvis går en bra bit upp på hotellet frontmur så då är det omöjligt att gå ut på stranden. Helt okej resturang men inte mer än så. Beachfront pool med bra läge men rätt slitna stolar och dynor. Mysigast är om man tar bungalowrummen närmast vattnet och trädgården där är fin.

Magic Montien!
I lived in the cozy cottages, exclusive poolvilla and standard rooms and all I can say is wow! Montien is a beach front resort with all amenities and services needed for a pleasant stay in Chaweng. Close to everything and just a soft beat from the beach clubs further south on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff that cater to your needs the best they can, fantastic!

I will post again that I find this an exceptionally pleasant and welcoming hotel with gracious staff and exceptional service. The grounds are beautiful beyond compare. The only drawback and it does not discourage me, is that it is on the flight path but the flights end before bedtime, so it is not really a problem, the benefits far outweigh the nuisance. Full marks, one of the very best. I will return in January and make my reservations now.

This is one of the most beautifully landscaped places I have ever stayed and my partner and I really loved that and the very, very pleasant, professional staff. The staff were very helpful with making changes, following our wishes for different rooms and providing maid services when needed. Everyone was kind and hardworking- a very well run place. Couple of shortcomings, a noisy air-conditioner should be replaced in 105. We did not rest well. One room's "King Bed" was two doubles pushed together, the middle was uncomfortable for us. We were moved both times and otherwise I just loved the place and we will return for sure. But the "King Bed" should have a thick foam pad like other places to cover up the hole in the center. Again, I will absolutely come back to this place in the heart of the action, yet quiet, great restaurant, pool and nice beachfront- as soon as possible!! Again, the staff were absolutely super!

Overall wonderful stay! The location is wonderful - right on the beach and very close walk to everything you need. The hotel room was very clean and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had a variety of options. Would absolutely recommend to everyone in the area.

We stayed here for 4 days and it is nice but could really do with a facelift the breakfast bar area - they need new tables and chairs as the area is a nice area but the furniture lets it down. Get rid of the old tables clothes, so not hygienic. The breakfast is basic - basically toast and ham, fresh fruit (pineapple and melon), yogurt, salad - leaves and tomatoes - some Thai food - usually rice with vegetables, there is also bacon, sausages (didn’t attempt these as different to ones i know) and a cook station for eggs the way you like them. There is orange juice (not the real stuff though) tea and coffee. The swimming pool is nice but again the sun beds could do with a lick of paint and to get new cushions for them as most were well worn. The room was fine but no 100 percent clean, the glass shelves were covered in dust, the room we stayed in could do with a lick of paint and to de-clutter some of the old furniture. The massive lampshades can go! They were filthy too. It was not much money for this place but things can be cleaned properly when there is cleaners in my view. I may have high expectations but trying to be honest here.

Montien was right on the beach so if you stay in one of the bungalows you are steps from the beach and in the middle of a lush garden. The hotel part is close but it’s on the street and I would imagine the view is not as inviting. They have many lounge chairs around the pool which overlook the beach and right out to the Gulf of Thailand. The room was average size, not big. The air conditioner worked very well and lots of hot water. Unfortunately, our room, 202, was right beside the vent for the kitchen which mean there were often unpleasant smells when sitting outside on the deck. The restaurant had very good service and food. It also was right on the beach and you could have dinner on the beach. It was a very short walk into the town which was bustling at night. As well, there were numerous bars, restaurants and clubs along the beach so there was always activity.

Hôtel bien situé, personnel vraiment très gentil et souriant. Très propre dans tout l’hôtel. Peu de plage et pas très propre et trop de proximité à la piscine parce qu’il n’y avait pas de chaises disponibles pour la plage.

Very nice garden room. Breakfast area 5m from the beach. Nice omelette station . Lots if fruit. Very close to many restaurants and bars. Much more character than the other upscale resorts. Very glad I picked this one. Some noise from neighboring resort during the afternoon only. Ko and staff very helpful.

The site manager was always there to help and the cleaning staff was always on the job. Site needs some maintenance especially for it water heater and pump. The architecture and grounds of the hotel give an amazing isolated early colonial few to the place even though you are a short walk from the main road and shorter walk from the beach.
