Convenient airport hotel. Very close to terminal, 5 minutes by shuttle. Desk agent very helpful during checking but the other people didn’t help much with luggage when I got off the taxi. Quite unbecoming for a so-called five-star hotel.

My family stayed here for two nights on vacation. A beautiful property and the rooms were clean and the bed was great. It was next door to a Starbucks but more limited off-site restaurant options within close walking distance.

The staff at check-in were unpleasant, almost commandeering. The bar which was supposed to be open until 24:00 was shut down around 23:10 and we were forced to leave early - apparently because the staff wanted to go home. As we were leaving we were told to get out of the drive-way even though there was no other car or visitor in sight. It was an alltogether unpleasant and disappointing experience.

Had little drama when checking in as the hotel didn't honor the free breakfast for 3 as shown in Hotels.com. A supervisor later fixed the problem for me but said it will be a special case for me only. Make sure to check with hotel when making a reservation through Hotels.com. beside that, it was a great place with amazing 7km run or walk trail around the lake right behind the hotel. One major turnoff was their Italian restaurant only opens on Saturday.

See the Silla history in Gyeongju
Overall our stay at the Hilton Gyeongju was outstanding. There was one glitch with the bellboy leaving our bags at the elevator instead of bringing them to our room but after a conversation with the manager that was quickly corrected with profuse apologies. The room was great, with huge breakfast choices with both Korean and Western menu items. The location was also wonderful. We plan on returning to Gyeongju in the future, there is so much to see, and we'll definitely plan on staying at the Hilton.

Cleanliness is a priority!
This hotel was awesome with the cleaning of the rooms. They were very accommodating with the cleaning times. we did not leave the room the first day until after 4pm, but they had cleaning services available as early as 9:30am all the way to 4:30pm. I felt like this hotel made every effort to ensure that they kept the hotel clean and sanitized.

These days a lot of hotels charge for the swimming pool. It was nice that Gyeongju Hilton included the swimming pool in the room fee (since it is off season).

Amenities listed for this property include an indoor and outdoor pool, however upon arrival they tell you that you have to pay extra to use the pool. This is mentioned nowhere in the hotel profile on either Expedia or Hilton.com. Also, the hotel is listed as having air conditioning, but they turn the air conditioning off at night (from 10pm-6am). Our room reached nearly 80 degrees the first night, and they only turned the A/C back on when we asked.

Its not Hilton i knew
It was literally not good. The old hotel looks renovated but electric system was not very stable. My wife woke up at the mid of night due to the electric spark inside air ventilator. Do not expect the five star service from staffs if u made a booking with Hotels.com and be ready for poor service. The location is good to take other hotels!!!
