Hard to find being buried under a three-way Intersection of Interstate highways going N, E and W . Should put up signs with the Super-8 emblem to help people to find it. It took me two hours and about 35 miles to finally get on the right road in Hancock where it is located. NEEDS road side signage with arrows!

Bathroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke in my non-smoking room. TV doesn’t work. Otherwise, room is clean and is comfortable.

Super 8 is pretty basic and attends to basic needs. I liked the king sized bed, the cleanliness of the room, and that our room was on the first floor and close to the breakfast room and front door. I was grateful for friendly staff. I didn’t love that furniture is worn and knicks are on the walls. I didn’t love that the breakfast included basic options of cereal with milk, orange juice, oatmeal with no accessible hot water to cook the oatmeal, and donuts which seemed iffy. I don’t know that I’ll return, but am glad I could have a place to sleep.

Surprisingly great. I was concerned when I first walked in that it was going to be gross but the room while not updated was really clean and comfortable.

Not good.
Not clean. Very loud barking dog. A woman screaming and fighting with someone in a room nearby most of the night. No restaurants nearby that deliver.

Simple, clean, well-priced accommodations we stayed at (both times upstairs) on the way to and from our ultimate destinations. There was some noise overnight from the highway, but it was intermittent. We missed out on the breakfast (just slim pickings by the time we got downstairs), but discovered a great diner about 10 min away by foot, the Potomac River Grill.

Free ( breakfast ) ha ha!
Overall very nice place. The hotel chain super 8 advertised Breakfast. The last 3 places ( super 8 ) were all the same. Very limited choices for breakfast. No pan cakes or waffles. Limited milk and orange. If you choose you stay just on free breakfast look elsewhere.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. Front desk was helpful. So nice to allow our clean bikes in the room thanks to your outside hose. Appreciated the hot water, heater and warm dry bed. I would highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.👍

As cyclists on the C&O towpath, this hotel is convenient to the trail. The hotel serves the purpose as a low cost place to stay. The TV didn’t work & room smelled rather musty.

Older property that needs updated. It was clean . Served the purpose for a quick overnight stay. My king size was new and very comfortable. TV was a streaming type. It was very difficult to get regular programming. Channel guide and directions that were not on tv would have been nice. Just wanted to watch a football game on CBS. Never was able to find it.

Wouldn't stay here!
There was bugs, blood, and urine on the mattress. I left after crying and never looked back didn't stay the night. Went into West Virginia and found a nice quaint clean place.

The sheets, floors, and bathroom were clean but there was a terrible cat urine smell that you couldn't get used to. The air conditioning unit worked well but made a terrible screeching sound in the middle of the night when it reached its temperature and the filter was disgusting. Furniture and bed comforters were stained. Didn't sleep well and left as soon as we woke up. Seriously the smell was so bad. Saw a cat in the window of the next room over on our way out. Wondering if that little cutie was the culprit.

Milessa at the counter was great.for thoes of you who come to ride on the fantastic bike trail, the hotel has no problem allowing you to bring your bikes into your room.

We stayed one night after cycling. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful with local information to get situated for the evening. Hose and towels available to clean off muddy bikes. The rooms are a bit dingy. Only one light side table light(instead of usual one per side) bathrooms need renovation. Otherwise I slept well. Breakfast not to my liking, so I skipped.

The whole place gave off a bad vibe. A lot of shady characters around. The rooms weren't the greatest. Outdated decor. Looked like someone punched a hole in our bathroom door. It was patched. Lol. Sheets had stains and blankets had cigarette holes. It was an experience thats for sure. Lol. We survived. Gave my family and I something to laugh about later.
