First class accommodation.
I was welcomed by name. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly wish for. Breakfast was served on the dot of 8 as promised. The selection was great and the quality excellent.

Etwas abseits der Innenstadt - mit dem Auto aber kein Problem. Frühstück wurde auf dem Zimmer serviert, es war aber von allem etwas dabei. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Am Ende der Straße in weniger als 2 Minuten zu Fuß liegt ein netter Pub mit einfachem Essen.

Well, situated, only a 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Off street parking. Beautifully decked out for the festive season, lots of nice litter touches. Welcome sign on arrival and good tips for where to go in town. Great breakfast delivered to door. Lovely one night stay.

Extremely helpful owner
For reasons outside the owners control the accommodation became unavailable at short notice. The owner informed me and offered me an alternative at his expense as it cost more than I'd originally paid. I couldn't have asked for anymore and was able to continue with my trip.

The property was clean, the bed was nice and comfy, the owners were very helpful, the breakfast although delivered to our room was very good with a wide choice of items to choose from. The room itself was a bit tired and items didn't work.

We stayed in the small room, though small it had everything we needed. Very clean and Covid rules being rigorously applied. Good selection of different things for breakfast. Owner is well organised and some nice touches during our stay (like fresh milk delivered for the evening).

Did not like the self service breakfast. Would have been better if someone was there. Richard was very good and allowed me to arrive early and made me a cup of tea. Allowed me to keep my cases there until the room was ready.

Great Hospitality
We enjoyed our stay at 31 Queens Road B&B but our room with twin beds was very small and the television did not work well. There was a porcelain tea kettle but no way to heat it. Also our ensuite bathroom required that we walk down the hallway to access it. The continental breakfast served downstairs provided a large selection of cereals, fruit, fruit juices, coffee, and tea and the owner also took orders for porridge, toast, and croissants.The owner was very pleasant and helpful to discuss things to do in the area.

A great example of a basic B+B done just right. Clean, simple rooms, nice breakfast, owner very friendly and helpful, clear info provided prior to arrival. A couple of pubs round the corner and 10-15 mins walk to plenty of nice food options in city centre.

The host made me feel very welcome into their home, was very clean and the rooms were just what I needed. Would highly recommend this b&b and I would definitely stay again

Hyggelig overnattingssted for besøk hos studenten.
Koselig rom med de nødvendige fasiliteter. Fin beliggenhet ved besøk hos studenter på universitetet i Winchester. Ca 20 minutter gangavstand gjennom hyggelig boligområde fra sentrum og jernbane. Stille og fredelig område.

Good location with easy access to town centre only a 20 minute walk. Opposite a busy hospital so be prepared for the road to be busy with visitors/staff etc up and down at all hour. Host pleasant and helpfull offering local tips but was not intrusive through our stay. Would stay again if in the area.

Was out first time in Winchester, booked a double room. The bed was so small two pillows next to each other hung over the edge. Having booked through Expedia didn’t find out until our arrival that no cooked breakfast included. Paid £85 felt very disappointed with our stay.

Small but excellent!
Excellent hosting. Small double bed in the specified small double room would suit most people but I am rather large and would choose a bigger bed!
