The resort is beautiful and the view of the Ganga was amazing but the road to reach Aloha was horrible. They should fix it.

Right on the Ganges with amazing views of the river and able to down and touch the waters. Rooms are 3-4 star nice. Great spa. Great area and shopping up a hill.

I was visiting with my parents from US to show them Haridwar and Rishikesh. From the property pic shown on Expedia we planned to stay at Aloha and paid Room what pics showed and what we offered were completely different. It didnt even have basic level of sanitation and hotel property was more like some old government flat. Paint was coming out, it was dirty :( I wanted to give my parents some wonderful experience, but resulted in this disappointment. I paid $760 for 3 nights, which is pretty good price for India. When I went to management, they refused to provide me refund. Only option of similar room i was given was again with same broken walls or smaller room. They have better room in this property but they asked us to pay more. I chose to checkout the same day rather than stay in those condition. Please avoid this property, there are many good value options available. I feel cheated :(

Good Hotel bad rooms
The Hotel is well located and has good facilities and service is excellent but rooms are really bad and absolutely not up to the mark as per the cost charged.

This place is fantastic. First, the quality of the meals is extraordinary. I've eaten at Indian restaurants in both NY and London and this place measures up to the best of any of those places, and its all vegetarian. Second, the activities they have available are wonderful and (if you're a Westerner) wildly cheap. Third, the view of the Ganga is unmatched. Fourth, the property on which the hotel sits is far enough back from the main road (about 1/2 mile) so that you don't hear a thing. Fifth, the staff is wonderful and super accommodating. Sixth, it's super clean. Overall, a phenomenal place.

Property is pretty good when I say it I mean outside area of hotel like pool, ground floor restaurant, green areas and ambience overall. Thought their rooms are out dated and needs improvement I did not find them good. Breakfast buffet is just average. They also need to work on their service part, during evening tea it was chaos and they were struggling to serve even tea to guests.

The location of this property is superb! The fact that we had the room facing the Ganges and easy access to the banks of the holy river makes it a truly remarkable place to visit. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and humble. The buffet meals served at Aloha at the Ganges deserve a special mention. Chef Yogesh did a fabulous job catering to different palates and created exquisite cuisines for everyone. He even made a special chocolate pie for us and shared his "special homemade masala" recipe! Relaxing stay
Two couples wents for relaxation. Wonderful place to relax. Excellent location - eve to morning full of fresh air breeze. You can walk to the river and enjoy yourself. The Food is amazing- variety and taste. The service is good. However, service in housekeeping and in restaurants need little improvement to make it delightful.

Fantastic stay. Weather was pleasant. Cleanliness was good considering Covid environment. We loved this place as you are just on the Ganges. We will definitely come back. Hotel staff was very polite & the breakfast was very good.

Great Location & Food ! Rooms need Maintenance
We stayed for a night in the Superior Room. The rooms are garden facing and do not offer the view of the Ganges. Though the rooms are large and well equipped, the room allocated to us (No. 24) wasn't in great condition with paint chipping from the walls and all over the floor and cleanliness levels not up to the mark. Despite notifying the same to the front desk - there was no response or follow ups to clean or change the rooms. However, it was nice of them to send us a cake at night to celebrate our anniversary. However we had a great stay otherwise. The property is well located and offers amazing views of the Ganga. The food and the hospitality at their restaurants is outstanding and live performances by the singers made the dining experience even more wonderful. The have several activities in the resort which are very well conducted and fun !

朝開催されるガンジス川沿いのウォーキングやヨガクラスが無料で参加出来て良かった。 プールからガンジス川が眺められる絶好なロケーションは最高だった。部屋にある無料のボトル入りの水も柔らかくて美味しかった。料理もそこそこ美味しくスタッフの対応もフレンドリーだった。部屋の内装は若干古くガンジス川もみえなかったがこの場所なら申し分なし。

Location was very good. Towels were threadbare and stained. There was constant noise from repair work that was being done in the rooms above. Complained multiple times, but although the staff said they would take care of it, there was no improvement. They finally gave us a discount at check out, after a half-hour argument over it.

Best View of Ganges
Entrance to the Hotel from the main road was intimidating. Surroundings were not clean with a lot of rubble and waste material on either side. The services check in, activities, restaurants, housekeeping were very customer friendly and very gracious. Facilities were average but everything worked! The bathrooms could have been cleaner. Towels were in short supply! We got our towels only late afternoon on both days. The views are stunning and most likely the best from any hotel in Rishikesh. Pity there is no shorter route to the Beach! The location of the hotel is excellent. Very close to all the attractions and also close to all the restaurants and other eateries. The food at the Patio turned out to be very good. All vegetarian but better than what was on offer in other restaurants in town. Service was excellent and again the views fro the Patio especially at night were magnificent. Breakfast was terrible - tasteless and limited. No imagination. Overall much better than we had expected and hence the favorable rating. Great potential and very good value for money.

A beautiful ganges view
Aloha is very good hotel, clean, with great facilities,helping staff. Excellent view of river, quiet surroundings , though a little expensive. Must try if you get a good deal . Only problem is transport from hotel. Taxis are arranged by hotel but they are too expensive .

A touch of class
After a retreat the luxury afforded by this hotel was very welcome. The food was great with a huge variety of Indian dishes and a couple of Chinese and European. A garden room, looking over to the lovely pool topped it off.

one of the worst property ever stayed. more like a dormatory after paying so much. and the video and pictures on web are just wrong verdict of what they are selling. reality vs expectation has a long distance between them. its basicaly a appartment not a hotel. food is just average. reception staff are not coutageous at all. bathroom are pathetic

Fantastic hotel with spa and swimmingpool
My girlfriend and me stayed there for two nights and it was really lovely. The staff is very kind in every situation and help imediately if there s anything you need. The food was delicous and there is a very nice swimming pool with view to the mountains and the river ganges. We highly recommend this nice place and will stay there again.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel has great position overlooking the Ganges but overall was grim. Not particularly clean in public places. Upkeep? What upkeep? None at all. Crumbling paintwork on the outside of the hotel, massive black damp marks everywhere and makeshift repairs. Room, although pleasant-looking, smelt of damp, indeed was damp. Music playing on a irritating short loop around swimming pool area. Nothing like the pictures. Really not worth the money. Disappointing in a big way.

Less of a hotel, more of an apartment complex
While the location is phenomenal and the views astonishing, the complex does not feel like a hotel. It appear like a large complex of flats. The corridors are dirty while the room cleanliness is average. The provisions in the hotel are ok. I think if one is going just to stay and raft, aloha is fine, but if you are going for the hotel, then atali is better

I booked the hotel through hotels.com after seeing the pictures on the site and booked the top of line room which had the best view. But unfortunately all the pictures were baseless and the room didn't had any view, infact it was the end corner of the hotel. I would suggest better see the hotel at its own site and book. Never see the pictures at hotels.com and book. When contacted the hotel & the site they said "Sorry".

Nicest hotel in Rishikesh - great view and quiet
Patio room was wonderful. View of river from the pool and the terrace is not to be missed. I felt like I was living in a palace! Super spacious, gorgeous room. Much better than their apartments. Make reservations on-line and save. Staff is willing to bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. Ala-cart food is reasonably priced (taxes are added though). I'd consider staying there again!

Time Share Condo's in Rishikesh
We were a family of 3 people that stayed in this hotel/time share. It was a great location, pool was very scenic however needed some salt or chlorine in it. The facility staff is excellent and very very helpful. The cleanliness could be improved with some vacuum cleaner use on the woolen rugs so it is not loaded with lints and shedding overlaying wool. I do believe the cleaning staff are good but some need training. One of the ladies was cleaning utensils and furniture with the same rag which is a big no no! and was advocated to correct her maneuvers. Overall, this is a fine, quiet location with great management staff. I was recommend switching the pool to salt water and keeping it more cleaner and having the cleaning staff be trained on use and misuse of dusters/rags on cutlery and glasses.Also after every guest has left toilets and sinks need to be checked to assess if they need draino and cleaned with bleach. Don't mean to critique but this place has the potential to stand up to international standards of hygiene.
