Upon arriving , no one at desk, There was a phone with a cardboard sign said to use phone to call staff.. I call three different times holding on for the phone to ring 10 times , Still no staff came to office . After waiting 19 minutes , I started looking around the hallways for a staff , I found one on second floor who was the desk clerk and she came down to register myself and my adult son for two seperate rooms, I was told that my room was on lower level but because they were full my son was put in a room on third floor even though we had made reservation and paid for the rooms weeks ago. The next morning I found small black ants in my room where the coffee pot was and my son had small black bugs we had never seen before as well as his refrigerator would not work. He reported this to desk clerk and they gave him another room, on the lower level that had no bugs but the furniture was in bad shape and smelled musty like it had not been used for a while, They also was to come and to check ants. We stayed our three days as registered but no housekeeping member never came into our room to clean, remove trash or bring new towels.. Since this hotel is located in my hometown, my family and I have stayed here several times a year for over 20 plus years while visiting with family. We have never had any issues of any kind her before. I do not know if it is under new management , but with the many problems this visit , sad to say but it will be our last stay here.
