The property was old and dated but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The verandah could have done with a bit of a better clean as there were old cigarette butts on the wall and the corridor window sills had dead bugs in them. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Look I am not going to be overly critical because you get what you pay for. The check-in process was very simple and quick so no issues there. Onto the room and then it was evident from entering that the bed sheets did not appear to be overly fresh and it appeared that the bedspreads were thrown from the door onto the beds in a very unprofessional manner and presentation, there were no towels at all but they did arrive about 45 minutes later, the benches were a bit dirty, and finally the air conditioner did not work - fortunately it wasn’t a hot balmy Windsor night. Overall it was just satisfactory but geez guys I think you could lift your game a bit.

You get what you pay for
We have stayed a few times at this Motel due to its location and convenience. It was nice to see they have finally made some improvements with a new floor in the shower of our room and a new shower curtain. Overall it is the poorest quality Motel we have stayed in in all our years of travel, but it serves a purpose, so we will go back again

The reception staff were indifferent to my needs. The bed lights and desk light weren’t working. I asked about it and was told that I could leave a note for the following day. When I said that I would need these lights, it was found there was a blown fuse. The mattress in the room sagged and was so uncomfortable. One of the towels had a hole in it. There was mould on the shower curtain. The one wine glass was dirty. The sensor lights in the hallway downstairs were full of bugs and the light fitting had bugs coated around the outside. The area of Windsor was lovely. If the motel put in a little effort it would be lovely. But it was like they couldn’t care less. Never again.

My daughter and I away for the weekend
My daughter and I stayed there for two nights. The TV remote did not work and I complained various times. I was told to use the buttons on the side of the TV. Really not acceptable. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was scary and had no cover. On the upside the location is fantastic. The owners have done nothing to upgrade the hotel in years as I have stayed here various times. It is a shame because it has so much potential. The driveway needs fixing as the front and back of your car gets smashed everytime you drive over it. The carpets are so worn it not even funny. Such a shame it has a lovely outlook over the river. I can say they have fixed up the garden out the back which looks so much better.

Arrived late due to road blocked (car crash) was charged $20 extra for checking in late. Got to our room party of 4 only 2 towels. Stayed 3 nights no room service that’s ok but towels weren’t even changed had to go down every morning and ask for new ones. Beds were that old lumps everywhere. Room was far from clean wine glasses covered in dust.

Disappointed with Cleanliness
The gentleman who checked me in was lovely and gave great directions for places to eat. The room was a good layout but the cleanliness let it down. The inside of the shower curtain was putrid. The outside of the fridge had spill stains. The tea towel that the cups were placed on was dirty with a bit of food on it. No tissues and holder was quite dusty. Inside of kettle didn’t look too good, especially when you could wipe some of the brown stuff away. Bed sunk in the middle.

Stayed two nights, room was not serviced, had to ask for fresh towels. ran out of tea etc, Not very welcoming at Front desk.. We extended our stay by one night on arrival and we were forced to pay by CASH , this also applied to others who were booking in at that time

Called to let them know I was arriving late and was told there would be an additional $50 (not stated online when booking). I was asking about this fee and they hung up on me on the phone. I imagine the experience would have been terrible if I stayed, considering how bad the initial customer service was. Booked another motel instead.

This hotel took my money and then told me they were fully booked and could not stay But still have not refunded any money Do not deal with wotif or this hotel Just another indian scam I will be reporting to fair trading and taking legal action requiring compensation for other out of pocket cost to find somewhere else at the last minute Which cost 3 times the price Do not trust these booking sits and book dirrect with the hotel is better I was on a budget weekend away for my birthday and i am now unable to feed my children Because i have had no refund Legal claim for damages and stress plus iniisial cost of a room that did not exist

A nice 2 night stay
EnJoyed our stay. Love the balcony. Room was clean and well furnished. Beds were comfy. No room service on the 2nd day though.

Very poor experience with expedia , after contacting the motel directly they said I had to deal with expedia due to them booking the wrong date. The motel booked a room for me after explaing no help from expedia. When I arrived the room was not booked and I was given a room at another motel that was very basic

Loved it overlooked the river… disappointed that it didn’t make beds or change towels or clean rooms in a two day stay. No teaspoons plates ..and only 3 towels for four of us (4 beds). Staff were courteous, good that it was close to shops and coffee in the morning

Extremely disappointed with this property. Mould covered bathroom ceiling. Cobwebs hanging from one corner to the next. So dusty it set off allergies in us. Don’t think the bar fridge has ever been cleaned. It had spills all through it. Mattresses would have to be in excess of 30yrs old, all sunken in. Then the rear of the property overlooking the lake is all either dead or overgrown & dilapidated.

I checked in at seven pm than went to dinner across the road. When I returned to my room at ten pm I discovered it had not been serviced from the previous night. No sheets on the main bed, dirty glasses and no towels. Too tired to ho through the rigmarole of contacting the night manager I slept on the single bed. No offers of compensation the next day, never again. I’ll pay the extra hundred to go to the Sebel.

One night in Windsor
We stay here regularly and the property is going downhill. The only reason we stay here is because it is so convenient to everything. The bath towels are an absolute disgrace - grey and very thin. The balcony has not been cleaned in I don't know how long and the gardens would look so nice if someone attended to them. This place is extremely overpriced for the condition that it is in. It is such a great location please do some work on it.

I have to state from the outset that due to a mix uo in my behalf I arrived 7 days early. It was all downhill from there. The receptionist was very surly but found s room for me. It cost me $20 for him to spend 60 seconds on his keyboard to acieve that. A pretty good hourly rate to help a customer out. I went down to my roiom and opened cupboard to find some coffee onky to find it was jam packed with empty drink cans, beer bottles and take away food containers. Back up to see surky man and was told he would get the cleaner on to it. This was at 2.30 pm with check in being from 2 pm onwards. I told him that the room should have been ready as I had first arrived at 10 am which gave him 4 hours to ensure the room was ready for occupation. The towels were grubby, the room was grubby, and the outdoor area would have looked over the river, IF the grass in front if the area had been cut to at least knee high. Do yourself a favour and stay at the mitel across the road.

We are sorry about your bad experience. However your booking was not for that day and the receptionist had to make sure that you are given a room somehow. Thats the delay in getting your room ready.

Terrible book elsewhere
The check in experience was terrible, the guy on the desk was very rude & very demanding & wanted to know personal information that as a Hotel is not required. He did not inform me of the many stairs that were needed to climb to my room, I asked what was the difference between the deluxe & the standard he could not answer, so I asked again he said the water view I replied "both rooms have water view listed on your page" I did not get the room I paid extra for. I asked for internet password, he said give me your credit card you pay, I walked off.
