Over all a good friendly service 🙂
Just staying one night but the staff lovely on arrival ,room is warm, beds comfortable and Cleen, room quite big breakfast is good I can not find a fault to mention

Overnight stop
Very good as usual. The rooms were clean and in good condition, although the floor tiles in one of the rooms need to be repaired as they could cause a guest to trip in the shower. One of the room doors was awkward to close, and the other room key card had to be reset at reception.

Disappointing - worst stay out of 10!
Radiator did not work. Reported it to reception but no action taken. Lights tripped at 10pm, reported to reception and told it would be put back on shortly. 1am in the morning I had to use the toilet in the dark. 7am still no lights, back to reception who apologiesed and said they would sort immediately. 7.30am knock on room door telling us we could move room if we wanted to! Packed up and left. So disappointed as we have stayed here several times but will not be staying here again. If you do stay take blankets and a torch!

Weekend break
Stayed for the weekend with 2 teenagers & 2 adults. Everything was great, buffet style breakfast, cereals, fruit Only gripe was the pull out bed for the kids Not big enough to fit 2 people on it was the worst night sleep they have ever had. Daughter had to sleep in our double bed as could not sleep a second night like that Rooms are quite small but apart from that ok Great that dogs are allowed too

Dirty as smelly
Staff were very friendly but hotel was very poor. The room has a smell of bad drains. The coffee cups were stained and it felt very dirty. Our second room for the kids smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and dog. The basins in both rooms had very clogged and dirty overflows. We had never stayed in an Ibis hotel and would never stay again. Travelodge and premier inn much better and at a lower price

Great Stay
Very clean and staff were extremely attentive. Room was spacious and great price. 1st time staying here and will return when in the area to see family. Food was good despite the chef being on holiday.

Staff friendly and helpful. Clean. The sofa bed was terrible, our son shouted in shock as soon as he sat on the mattress at how many springs he could feel, no way could ge have slept a night on it. We dragged it onto the floor, seeing how old and worn out it actually was. Once upon the floor we realised it wasn't just the sofa bed metal he could feel but the mattress was just completely worn ans all springs could be felt. So all 3 of us ended up in the bed, hes 5ft 6 at 12, not fun. It being very late and the general manager had already told us how short staffed she was ar our check in we decided to put up with it. I put the duvet over rhe mattress on the floor and attempted to sleep, i think i managed an hour or so but as soon as i moved the metal just stuck into my body. Awful. We wanted to inform staff of the issue upon checking out but we waited for a while at reception and no one appeared. Also the bed sheets had holes in them, there's budget hotels everywhere in the uk now and we stay in many as we live at the other end of the country to our families, this is the poorest one we have stayed in to date.

We had to have the bed exchanged. The TV didnt work at first, the window wouldn't open as the handle was broken. Staff polite and helpful

Fell at the first hurdle...
Disappointing. Room smelled of stale cigarettes. Corridor was noisy with people moving in and out through the early hours with little regard to other guests. The shower room didn't drain quickly resulting in a flooded bathroom. House keeping entered the room to clean way before check out time. On a positive note the towels were good and despite over looking the car park the curtains blacked out all the light. I needed a hotel in the area, however the room was horse racing themed, I don't like horse racing.

Room was okay, asked at reception for extra 2 pillows and were still waiting. I even used WhatsApp to ask if they’d be arriving and I’m still waiting for a reply. Eventhough it’s been read. Other than that stay was okay

Lovely
Was a standard room but very comfy. Staff were friendly and we had daily housekeeping. We enjoyed our stay so much so we are booking again next month and taking our kids! Only down we had was we paid extra on the day for breakfast and unfortunately only stuff available (that had not run out) was bacon and beans, toast and cereal for nearly £10 each for 2 pieces of bacon and 1 spoon of beans was shocking so we wouldn't be booking a breakfast.

Good Stay
Check in was quick and friendly. The street noise is bad (for me) road side so I changed rooms. The black and white balls had been stolen from the pool table and hadn't been replaced for 3 weeks... The breakfast was very good and parking was good.

good to try once
The staff were fantastic and very helpful and polite and friendly Room was not excellent and just a room with TV ,coffee and bed Toilet was not flushing very well and it was very smelly and no Fridge Breakfast was very simple and a lot of choice and even I did not pork susages and bacon one of the staff offered me the last day Veg Susages - thanks not a lot to do in the hotel and nothing around of it except small Asda shope with petrol station

The hotel is on a major road the noise is quiet load all night. The room was well presented although the extraction in the bathroom was not working. Breakfast was ok it had all components and was warm. Overall we enjoyed the stay

Traffic Noise
The hotel is clean and service good. Some rooms back onto the A580, so traffic noise is constant. However, in the early hours traffic is minimal so it can be quiet until a vehicle approaches and breaks that silence which can be quite frequent. It can be difficult to sleep through

Good option for out of town Liverpool hotel
Running the Liverpool marathon, this was a good option since I had a car and it is easy to drive to Liverpool from here, a good quality 3* hotel, staff were nice, free parking.

Coach party took preference.
This is the third time we have stayed & will be our last. Reception could not help us with booking an evening meal as "Coach Party" took preference and we probably paid more for our room than the "Coach Party". Luckily a Carvery was next door who bent over backwards to fit us in. Our room overlooked the dual carriageway with traffic running past all night the double glazing proved useless.

My room faced the dual carriage way and so it was very noisy with cars despite the window being closed. Also no air con so it was a fairly warm night. Otherwise, hotel is generally OK and is good enough for an overnight stay if need to be in the area for whatever reason. Try to get a room facing away from the carriageway if possible

Disappointing Family Stay
We are a family of 4 and my youngest is just about too big for the normal ‘camp beds’ that are generally in family rooms. So after looking for a hotel for a night away to attend a family wedding, I found this which stated an the hotels.com website that it was a family room with one double and two single beds. Brill - and solely due to this I booked the room. I contacted the hotel the day before our arrival to confirm check in times and was told after 1400. We arrived at the hotel at 1420 and was subsequently told check in is after 1500. Explained I rang and was told 1400 but they said the colleague was wrong. Ok, we completed the paperwork and arranged to collect the key later. When I arrived at the hotel later to collect the key and drop the bags into the room, I was utterly disappointed to find the room was infact a sofa bed and the camp bed type - definitely not what was stated on the website, plus the room was too small to hold this extra bed. As I had a taxi waiting for me I thought we will just leave it and put the youngest in this bed after all. When we returned later my youngest (who is a big 8) climbed into the bed and to our utter amazement we found there were no springs holding the mattress to one side of the bed!!!! The two boys slept with me in the double and hubby slept on the sofa bed. I spoke to reception about this when checking out and explained my disappointment and the camp bed should never have been put into the room.
