The rooms bathroom smelt moldy. The lobby was completely tore apart, and the hot tub and pool are closed until further notice which is one of the reasons why I booked this hotel is for the hot tub and was very disappointed.

Not as advertised
Ok so this motel is a bit of false advertising. In the way that the photos on the site make it seem a lot better then it is.....checkin was ok, however being owned by indians there was a unique smell of garlic??? The hallway again another smell hits you, and then the room another, then the bathroom smelt like they use 100% bleach to clean with. There was sauce or something dried up on the light switch and hair dryer...GROSS!! The sink is in the main room not the bathroom the bathroom is the toilet and shower.....probably why yhey dont show photos of the bathrooms!! Parking is ok, however there were three vehicles with there back windows smashed out of them so that made me peronoid all night....lucky for me my vehicle was fine in the am. This is o e of thise cases where i would pay 20-30$$ more for a better motel. Its o e of thise cases where you get what you pay for so pay the extra and stay somewhere nicer, youll thank me for the advice.

Why did it have a decent rating on hotels?
There was no breakfast. The pool was no functional. The area was a bit sketchy . We wrbt to check out at 7:30 and no one was there to answer. There was a stale ick smell in the room. We asked for extra towels and they didn't deliver them. The water pressure was bad.

Family visit
While this hotel could not be classified as a resort hotel it could use considerable "good" maintenance. Too many things really need some help simply they have been created by sloppy maintenance. workmanship is of very poor quality and in many cases should not have been done in that manner at all. Another point - this is absolutely the first hotel I have stayed at where there is no coffee available in the lobby area or somewhere else. The only coffer available is the little pots in the room. Overall this hotel needs some work. It's questionable whether we will ever use this hotel again.

The poor guy is trying but the cost to keep it running are high. Nothing works but he was great. The beds were clean and comfortable. We will stay there again for that reason. It's hard everywhere now but this guy is going to make it work by being so kind.

So So - some decent qualities, some need help
A back entry door had garbage piled on the ground all around a garbage can. That was cleaned up by the next day. The hall carpeting badly needed vacuuming, particularly the stairs. The desk clerk was not pleasant to customers. The location was good and felt safe and the beds were comfortable. Reasonable price.

For the price, and just to sleep for a few hours, it was good. But once you get done at the lobby, the owner locks the lobby door and you have to go outside to go around to the lobby.. And for the place, a one hundred dollar incidental is way too much and it’s separate from Expedia fees.. So on top of the Expedia fees, get ready for a one hundred dollar incidental charge..

My daughter was in tears at how dirty and smelly the property was, there was trash under our bed. It felt like an establishment that rented by the hour. We left and stayed elsewhere, we did nit feel safe.

When i was younger Shilo Inns was one of the premier hotels in the NW. This one was kinda sad. It had an odd smell that lingered in our clothes for 2 days. The sofa had stains, on both sides of the cushions. All furniture and counters were worn on the edges. Pretty run down overall.

Location is very good withmost facilities within an short walk. The property is not new but was clean and the room we had was two queen beds and lots of room.

The beds and room were comfortable and clean and had all the necessary amenities. Internet was VERY spotty and the site was pretty rundown. Overall, it was what we expected for the price, and we slept well.

Windows we’re wide open throughout the hotel, giving bugs and thugs access. TV didn’t work. Door key has to be held in a specific position in order to get in. I wish Walgreens sold whole-body condoms.

Almost everything is shoddy in the room. cheapest, thinest linens; torn curtain; dirty carpet; no breakfast despite statement on website that breakfast was included. Thank goodness it wasn't. The quality is what we have come to expect.

Great maid service. The property is also used to house locals looking for work, perhaps in transitions. Men sat outside at the picnic table drinking beer. Did not feel safe for our teenager. Outside are was full of trash and rundown, along with floor 1. Do not go downstairs, the pool area is used as a storage place and it is dirty and noisy on the first and second floors and people smoking on the third floor. Hotel was not presented properly in the ad.

The bathroom in unit 307 smelled strongly of cigarettes. One of the sheets on one of the beds had a burn mark and several hairs. The fridge smelled HORRIBLE when I opened it. Several crackheads clearly living there. This place is nasty.

We did not stay at this hotel. It was DISGUSTING when we arrived to pur room. There were black spots on the bed, the tables in the room was not cleaned. We were told the entire was smoke free, however when we got to our floor it smelt of smoke through the entire hallway. Outside of the room and outside of the hotel were homeless people sleeping outside and people sleeping the hallways. When we spoke to the desk about everything they offered a different room, but that was it. Even when we requested a refund and to cancel they pushed us back to hotels.com (where we booked through) to assist. Hotels.com was very helpful and assisted with us getting a refund. Bottom line would not recommend anyone staying here.

I was not impressed with the service at all. Check in took forever as the lady checking me in was having issues. An older man who I believe to be the owner or manager came out and was very short and rude. Lots of shady activity going on at the hotel also.
