Accommodation with good service and food
The service at the destination was excellent, as was the food! We liked the location very close to the sea! The family room was a good size and had two bedrooms! The hotel must have been great in its time, but time has eroded the glory a bit and there was no special glory anymore. Especially when there is a nice new hotel next door, a little neighborly envy can occur. The animator's programs were modest, although that could also be due to the end of the season. On the other hand, you could get on the tennis court without waiting.

We had a wonderful holiday at Bella Beach. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. It benefits from being a smaller hotel, when compared with some of the adjacent properties. We stayed in late October, so the hotel was naturally quieter, but there was still plenty on offer for guests, and particularly for families. A couple of the noted facilities (mini golf etc.) are no longer available on site, but that didn't detract from our stay. The location is also good; 20mins drive from Heraklion airport and within 60-90mins of many of the popular attractions. Our only observation is that some guests may feel that the five-star rating is misleading, but I think that's possibly a subjective point. This is a quality hotel, but it isn't the high-end luxury that some might expect of five stars. However, it is still excellent and, frankly, suited us better as a family just the way it was.

Lovely hotel right on the beach. International buffet food available from early morning till late at night with plenty of options for the children and adults alike. Good selection of drinks available on the all inclusive package. We had a family room which was a good size. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again

Gute Lage, schöner Strand und gute Hotelgrösse. Das Hotel und das ganze Team waren fabelhaft! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Die Musik und Animationen waren unserer Meinung nach zu sehr von den Achtzigern geprägt. Auch wäre es gut, in einem All Inclusive, den Gästen zu ermöglichen, irgendwo ihre Wasserflaschen aufzufüllen oder genug Wasser im Zimmer zur Verfügung zu stellen. Ansonsten haben wir aber nichts zu bemängeln. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, würden wieder buchen und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Wir bedanken uns bei dem ganzen Team.

We spent a week at Bella Beach for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great and the area itself was safe. Would recommend spending time here, especially towards the end of Crete's busy season!

La struttura in realtà non è un vero 5 stelle perché è datata e quindi da rimodernare ma come servizi assolutamente paragonabile a un 5 stelle. Il personale gentilissimo sempre disponibile per ogni richiesta, avendo prenotato con una bimba di 2 anni sono stati perfetti. La posizione perfetta, la spiaggia privata, piscina per adulti è una piccola per bambini. Il cibo vario ogni giorno e fresco. Ottima qualità prezzo, sicuramente lo consiglierei. Una pecca è l’area giochi bambini che potrebbe essere migliorata.

Bien situé pour visiter l’est de la Crete, ce bel établissement, avec un personnel aimable, souriant et très professionnel reste à taille humaine, ce qui est très appréciable pour se détendre et se reposer. Il possède une plage privée surveillée avec transats, propose tous les services nécessaires à la réception et dispose de plusieurs restaurants avec important choix de plats variés et composés de produits frais et locaux. L’hébergement est calme et spacieux (guestroom vue mer directe), la literie est de très bonne qualité, la salle de bain est pourvue de nombreux produits d’hygiène, nombreux rangements et balcon équipé avec table, chaises et étendoir à linge. Cependant, pour un 5 étoiles, nous aurions apprécié avoir des WC séparé.

Pro: - schöner, großer Strandabschnitt mit tollen Liegen - überdurchschnittlich freundliches und aufmerksames Personal - große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken - Zimmer mit Meerblick haben eine wirklich tolle Aussicht - ruhige Lage mit guter Erreichbarkeit anderer touristischer Ziele - Strand- und Poolbar sind gut gelegen und weisen freundliches und engagiertes Personal auf Contra: - wenig Animation / Abendprogramm - Einrichtung veraltet - alkoholische Getränke im All-Inclusice-Bereich waren Mittelmaß - Cocktails sind vorgefertigte Sirups, die mit Wasser und Alkohol aufgefüllt werden und haben nichts mit Cocktails zu tun - es wird nur 1-2 Mal die Woche gewischt, weshalb der Zimmerboden oft dreckig/verstaubt ist - Spa-Bereich und -angebot mäßig Alles in Allem lässt sich sagen, dass man in diesem Hotel keine 5-Sterne nach deutschem Standard erwarten darf. Es ist keineswegs ein Luxus-Hotel, was man beim Preis schon bemerken sollte. Wer allerdings viel Wert auf freundliches Personal und eine schöne Pool- und Strandanlage setzt, ist hier genau richtig.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist wunderschön angelegt. Der mediterrane Flair ist einfach perfekt. Der Strand ist schön sauber und die Liegen am Strand, als auch am Pool sind sehr bequem. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht modern, trotzdem ist alles noch in einem guten Zustand. Der Zimmerreinigung hingegen ist mangelhaft. Jeden Tag wurde etwas anderes vergessen (Handtücher nicht 1 zu 1 ausgetauscht, Aschenbecher nicht gelehrt, neue Mülltüte vergessen). Einmal wurde sogar ein benutztes Handtuch, was offensichtlich nicht uns gehörte vergessen. Außerdem wurde unsere Balkontür immer offen gelassen (wir wohnten im Erdgeschoss, das geht gar nicht!). Auch das "Nicht stören" Schild wurde mehrfach missachtet. Hier muss dringend nachgelegt werden. Wir hatte im Großen und Ganzen aber einen sehr schönen und angenehmen Urlaub.

Decadent 3 stars hotel with awful food. Nice pool, but hidden from the beach. Nice beach, but not enought chairs. the room was good size and good bathroom, but sea view was limited. Don't pay extra. Several installations were broken and dirty. The kids club was a wood cabin with paper for kids to draw. Quite a lie. Swimming pool bathrooms were disgusting. There was 1 cm of dirty on the gym ventilator, that looked like was never cleaned.

Good hotel with unlimited food and drinks! Outside of the two hours in the main restaurant there are snacks on the beach bar and the pool bar. We got upgraded to a room with a private pool. It was very convenient with small children. Room is cleaned and bed sheets were changed every day. There was entertainment every night. The hotel could have better services like the near by resorts. Kids club is poor. There was supposed to be a program but in the end there was only mini disco at night.

we spent 2 weeks in this resort.We had the upgrade to the room with private pool.the room has always been cleaned on a daily basis, the towels were also changed on a daily basis.the overall resort is high quality.personell is kid and professional.maybe the food can be improved,but its overall okay. perfect for families with kids.

The Bella Beach Hotel in Crete is a charming all-inclusive resort. Our family enjoyed the stay, making use of the main pool and beautiful beach with convenient facilities. The room's private pool was a nice touch, and the staff, especially at the reception, were kind and helpful. However, the hotel feels somewhat dated and needs interior updates. Our room felt small and wasn't cleaned daily as expected. While clean, it could use a refresh, and the noisy A/C was a downside. Unfortunately, the quality of food at the main restaurant didn't meet expectations. Despite these issues, it's a good choice for families, though I hesitate to rate it as a 5-star hotel.

Nous y avons sejourner 2 nuits. Le personnel est super gentils. pas de souci de ce côté la. surtout du cote du Spa. vraiment top. Dans lensemble, très bel etablissement. Les bémols : la piscine ferme à 18h jai trouvé cela vraiment trop tot. a 18h il fait moins chaud, on apprecie de se prelacé au soleil tranquillement et on a envie de se baigner mais non. Si encore, ils fermaient tot, pour que les tables et transats soient lavés mais ce nest meme pas le cas. Ok les gens ne sont pas respectueux, mais pas le choix que de nettoyer derriere eux. la chambre : bien mais le sol etait mal rincé donc collant et glissant. le restaurant principal : beaucoup de choix mais je deplore un manque de gout selon les jours (donc selon le cuisinier ??) les cocktails .... bof ... diluer a mort. meme pas de simple cocktail de fruits. de disponible. bon sejour dans lensemble avec des bemol. avis mitigés. oui 5 etoiles mais aux normes du pays sûrement.
