It is ok for the price I paid...! The water flows were so weak in the shower and there is no hot water available in the washing sink due to the way it was built per the maintenance person.

Pleasant stay
The room is nice, room cleaning service every day, kinda noisy with single pane windows, you can hear honking motorbikes Into the early morning and there is a hospital very close by with emergency siren vehicles driving by very often all night long. Some of the front desk people speak a little English, some none at all. We arrived at 9:30am and was pleasantly surprised that they let us check in. Lots of eating places around but not much else’s to do within walking distance, we did walk to the 1000 Buddha temple that was around 2 or 3 km. Kind of strange, they have parked cars in the lobby and motorbikes drive right through to get to a parking lot. Only gripe was a room service experience, we called down and a man answered, tried to order and he said “don’t speak English” so I went to the front desk and pointed on the menu to what I wanted, food came up and nothing was correct! Little to say that I was pretty upset but what can I do?

Hotel agréable
Hôtel agréable. Le personnel est souriant. L'équipement de la chambre est simple (TV, minibar, climatisation) mais satisfaisant. Les fenêtres de la salle de bain ne se fermaient pas, j'ai donc accueilli des lézards dans ma chambre. C'était mon deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel. J'y retournerais surement

Decent hotel in Cholon
Whilst there are better hotels in other parts of HCMC, Trung Mai is a decent place to stay, where staff speaks Cantonese and some English, besides Vietnamese. The room reminds me of 1990s hotels in Asia, basic and not modern, but clean, with decent bedding and quiet from street noise, which to us was the most important. There does not seem to be a breakfast option, but standard food can be ordered in the room at reasonable prices. Within walking distance of Thien Hau temple and 10-15min walk from Binh Tay market (closed for renovations between Nov.16 and Nov 17) and St Xavier church, it is also a convenient base to explore Cholon area. We would consider staying back for the overall convenience but keeping in mind the outdated look and feel.

Terrible and rude staff. Had a very terrible experience while checking in. The room is not very dirty however the bed is rather uncomfortable. There better hotel in the immediate area.

If you just need a good place to stay for few days with clean beds and friendly staffs for reasonable prices, Trung Mai will not disappoint you.

This place is located in the suburbs and the staff do not speak English I hotel is clean and tidy but a good 30 mins from city centre I would suggest to book a room in district 1 so that you save a lot on transportation

Nice hotel
The hotel is ok, had a warm shower, A/C worked, flat screen TV and the beds were alright. Room size was big for what you pay for which is a bonus. The staff are really helpful and friendly even though they speak limited English. The bathroom wasn't perfectly clean but was what you'd expect for the standard of hotel out here. It is quite far from the centre, about 4km we walked it once. Probably not best if your here as a tourist but perfect for us who were needing to be close to the hospital for placement

Choose another place
Hotel was so so. Price was comparable to other hotels around the area. Booked the room for 2 people with 2 beds, the night staff wanted to charge me an additional fee to bring in a second person. Would not come back to this one.

Excellent Hotel
From Very Start, We are welcomed nicely by hotel staff although he cannot speak english very well but he try to understand us. The Room is neat and tidy although old building. the bathroom quite small but clean and have basic amenities. Quite in the night Overall Nice budget hotel and very recommended to people that want vacation in district 5

This 1.5 star gem..
Located in neighbourhood, the hotel is within walking distance to all Chinatown place of interests and not to mention some great chinese restaurants are nearby this hotel. The rooms in this no-frill hotel are clean. Cheap room service and room rates are cheap.

Je n'ai fait que dormir (sieste et nuit) dans cet hôtel. Literie confortable même si la couverture était un peu petite. Les femmes de chambre passent une fois tous les deux jours.

My friend and I stayed at this budget hotel in Cholon, the Chinatown of Ho Chi Minh. We actually decided to book online in the hotel lobby because booking online turns out to be cheaper than walk-in prices. The staff in the reception doesn’t mind and gave us our room right after we showed them the confirmation email. Our room was big, albeit abit old. Basic amenities like hot water and wifi are available and everything seems to be working. The reception staff cannot speak English, but Google Translate saves the day. We returned to the hotel at about 11pm once and found the gates locked. Thus, we had to wake the night guard up from what looks like a deep sleep. Jolted awake so suddenly, he is nevertheless wide eyed and polite while opening the gate for us.

Price vs Comfort is reasonable
Our double bed room was a bit small, no wardrobe to hang any of our clothes, whereas for a two single bed room, the room was much bigger. There's also no curtain in the shower area. Apart from the above, the room was considered clean and the bed comfortable, air cond was working fine and free wifi was the extremely fast.

附近生活機能便利 入住前已有心理準備,知道客房的設施很差 可是便宜所以能接受這樣的水準 雖然客房設施很差,但該有的都有 例如 沖澡的水壓足夠,冷氣夠冷
