Great Property for a family.
This is a great property for a family. Off street garage parking was ideal, it’s location less than a minute walk from a quiet little beach with superb views across the bay back to Hobart was awesome. The property it’s self has bags of character and was very comfortable. There is a shop just over the road selling the most amazing produce. We loved our short stay this summer.

Spacious and well appointed. Great hot water. Has a lovely balcony for morning coffee. Very close to shop and beach. A short drive to everything else.

We loved this property, had such charm and homely feel. Everything you need. I would definitely stay again. Communication with the owner was great. Only cons would be the shower curtain - it had mold on the bottom of it. I would probably just chuck it and find a more hygienic solution if possible. And the bathroom door was getting caught on the tiles making it hard to close. Could be damaging the beautiful tiles.

Only stayed for one night, but would have loved to stay longer. Perfect for families, great location, comfortable beds and super clean. Ted was so helpful too! Will be back.

It is in a beautiful location. We loved walking along the beach and grabbing dinner supplies from the gourmet shop across the road. The apartment was decorated beautifully. It was also cosy with ocean views. We would have loved to stay longer.

Good position with a walk-way to Nutgrove Beach - plus Lipscombe Larder across the road - and easy access back to Sandy Bay and city etc. I had imagined our accommodation would be in the main part of the building shown in the photo - but it was down the back, underneath (no view - although that was not promised anyway, but all a bit awkward for anyone not sure-footed - struggled with unwieldy gate chain etc. Very messy outside areas - badly needed painting and cleaning up - so perhaps it is a "work in progress" etc....and with the main entrance through a bedroom - all a bit weird. The grimy venetian blinds in kitchen, and old damaged door in the bathroom were very disappointing (considering the price) - but long black hairs on the lining of BOTH doonas - was a real turnoff. Our friends stayed in another (3 bedroom) B&B 1 km away which was beautifully clean and functional in every way and much cheaper - so we will be staying there on our next journey to Hobart in a month or so.

Close to the heart of the city
We enjoyed our stay with family here. Ed was great. Great quiet location.Access to Bay right behind the property. Quite spacious, well appointed kitchen.The beds were very comfortable and warm.Linens were provided. Cons :WiFi did not work. The heating in the main bedroom gave a burnt smell when turning it on. However this was communicated to us by Ed on arrival. The weather was pleasant and hence did not need heating much. Overall very nice place to stay.

Great location. Loved the historical building reflective of Hobart's history. Close to Battery Point and Salamanca markets. Easy access to out of town locations.

Perfect holidays
Location and view was the best, Ted was great, making us feel like home from the start. Confortable and clean rooms, everything we need was found in the kitchen. Walk to Sandy Bay Beach really handy, including at night to see the birds in the blue light. Close to everything! Just wish to have a few more days.

Lovely accommodation!
I stayed here with a colleague during a work visit to Sandy Bay, and we both loved the accommodation. Quiet, clean, very spacious and with everything we could need for a quiet and comfortable stay. The neighbours were a bit loud (it was a Saturday night) but I think normally this would be a very quiet place to stay. The beds were very comfortable and we both appreciated the electric blanket. Huge bathtub and shower, modern kitchen. Perfect really!

Excellent value for families
Stayed with my husband and two sons. Plenty of room and they had activities on hand to enjoy. Close to beach and short drive from centre of town. Boys had separate large room from ours (also large) with a generous lounge/ dining and kitchenette. Much nicer than being squashed in one room! Also had access to a private deck and courtyard. An older style building but clean, water is hot and bed is comfortable! Would recommend for families and anyone needing 2 rooms. Ted is lovely and more than helpful. A small market/shop across the road and shopping centres 6min drive for everything else. It does accommodate the usual bath soap/ wash/ shampoo/conditioner etc including real milk for coffee with a coffee machine and all kitchen essentials. A quick look around and you will find anything else basic you may need. Also off street parking. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice obstructed view through houses of water
Was clean and tidy but could do with a dee cobweb and the beds were like a rock very hard and uncomfortable, my back and hips are still playing up. Also very noisy lots of traffic noise and people walking down lane way talking very loudly at midnight

Good for a family
We stayed in the water view apartment. Has great views of the Derwent river. Decor needs some TLC. It is a good place for a family plenty of room to move.

Comfortable stay, had everything we needed, owner was very friendly and accommodating, small touches like paper towel in the kitchen and hair dryer in the bathroom were great, only a few minutes drive to the city, parking.

Comfortable Stay
Great spot, easy to get to, although at peak traffic times not being a local and getting in the left lane in the main one way street through city to turn into Sandybay Rd can be tricky found myself doing a loop to get there but other than that great. The larder across the road was fantastic with a great variety of food and wine, a little on the price side but still beats going out for dinner and with the option to go for a stroll on the beach on a fine afternoon was fantastic. The Garden unit was private and yeah sure the building doesn't look polished but heaps of space inside, it was warm and we felt instantly comfortable and that's what you want in a stay, and will stay again.

Close to City & walk on beach
We left our car in the garage and walked 3.6km to Salamanca market and MONA ferry. Accommodation was comfortable and spacious. Plenty of room for a family. Gourmet providore store opposite has an extensive range & catered for all our needs.

Very good location
Excellent location of the place, with a groceries store just opposite the street, although we didn't get to visit it. Coles and Woolworths are just down the street. However, as we stayed in the unit downstairs, we had a bit of issue finding the place, having to disturb the people in the unit on the street level. But being away from the street means we have a quiet stay. The owner, Ted, was nice and friendly. He contacted us immediately upon our booking though we made our booking more than 7 months before the stay. Although the unit looked old and run-down generally, the kitchen and toilet looked new and clean. The kitchen has everything we need to cook a proper meal. There's also laundry facilities. The place is also near to the beach.

Gorgeous garden view
Wonderful clean home, full kitchen, big bathroom, gorgeous bedroom with a perfect view of the beautiful flower garden. We loved our stay here! Teenagers enjoyed the free wifi and I loved the comfortable bed and heavenly pillows. Thank you for having us Ted we throughly enjoyed our stay!

A beautiful place to stay for a couple of nights in Hobart! Ted was wonderful and really welcoming. Across the street from a gorgeous delicates a filled with all sorts of treats and quick, yummy dinners. Lots of space for the 5 is us. Amazing morning sun in the kitchen overlooking the water. Absolutely beautiful spot!

A true gem!
The host was very kind and helpful. The place was so lovely we're definitely recommending it to everyone visiting Hobart. The appartment is spacious, gorgeously decorated and all towels and bedlinens are premium quality. Another plus on top: in 5 min you can be at the beach for a nice walk.

Historic Home on the Bay
Pleasure to stay at this historic apartment. Light, airy and clean with a gorgeous garden and close to the bay for a stroll at night to check out the city lights or a relaxing morning walk after breakfast.

とてもおすすめのアパートメントです
ビーチが目の前で、バス停も家の前にあり、高級スーパーも家の前にありとても良い環境です。 Sandy Bay Rd沿いの通りで一番古い建物で、重要文化財に指定されている建物ですが、オーナーのTedさんが綺麗にリノベートされていて、すてきなお部屋になっています。 オーナーのTedさんはとても優しい方で、すてきな時間を過ごせました。 タスマニアに行く際はぜひまた泊まりたいと思います。

Delish cafe across the road.
So close to the beach a real little gem. Short walk for great coffe and Jetts for fish and chips.
