A very convenient location for the airport, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are large and reasonably comfortable. Only downside is that you have to pay for wifi!

Wifi connection is not good and they only allow one device per booking, so you have to pay for the additional device. Overall facilities are really old and needs renovation/refurbishing. There’s no complimentary water. No hair dryer in the room and you have to ask for it. One time they forgot to clean my room. Sometimes the keycard is not working so I had to go back to the lobby and get it fixed. I got a room with a seaview but there’s a ongoing construction so view was ruined. Staff overall are very laidback and not very attentive.

Das Hotel ist komplett heruntergekommen!!! Das Personal ist AGGRESSIV, UNFREUNDLICH UND BELEIDIGEND, man wird sogar von den "securites" durch die Stadt verfolgt!! Der gesamte Teppich im Flur schimmelt, die Waschbecken fallen von der wand, die Tapete im Zimmer fällt von den Wänden etc etc. Das halbe Hotel ist momentan eine Baustelle. Der Pool ist wegen des Staubs nicht nutzbar. Es gibt keinen Ansprechpartner für Probleme. Alles was man den Angestellten sagt muss man 3 mal sagen! Das Restaurant ist voll von Katzen mit wer weiß was für Läusen!! 100€ pro Nacht für eine Baustelle ist eine Frechheit! Berücksichtigt man den Service und den Zustand der "Zimmer" schuldet mir das Hotel eher Geld

Place was in need of a lot of maintenance. Restaurant was ok but rooms had flaking paint , broken tiles etc. I checked out early & went somewhere else. Then this place got locked up because of the riot that occurred there so glad I moved out. Staff couldn't help with basic enquiries & the "casino" was a joke. Stay somewhere else.

Short hop only - do not stay too long
Not what it looks like on the site. Quite run down place to be honest. Building work taking place. On the coast, but limited access to it. OK for an overnight stay prior to another move which is what we booked for. Good restaurant though and food very good. WiFi good but you have to pay for it, albeit not a lot. Friendly staff and not too far from Honiara airport.

OK place to stay
The staff is very friendly and I appreciate the option to be able to book airport pick up (50 SBD) to have safe transportation. There is no free internet even in the lobby (unlike stated on website) and the internet for 24 hours is 100 SBD, not that cheap. Honiara does not have huge amount of hotel options, so I guess this is ok, but would not pay 100 USD for this kind of room in regular Asian destinations. Anyway, I know Solomon Islands is not cheap, so locally price is ok.

staff are great, restaurant is very nice and clean but rooms are terrible and not value for money in any respect.

Hotel is in an ideal location. Quite disappointed with how my booking wasn’t in the hotel system when I checked in.

This hotel is a dive. Do not stay here. Not worth the money. Not a nice place. Poorly kept.

Good hotel in Honiara. Wifi description misleading
I felt that this was one of the better hotels in Honiara. Room was clean with powerful air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and there was a decent desk to work from. The food and coffee was nice, especially in the Garden Bar. The room service was good. The hotel offers a discounted shuttle to the airport that is cheaper than a taxi, so be sure to book this. My main criticism would be the misrepresentation of the wifi here. It says on Hotels.com that there is free wifi in your hotel room but this is simply not true. There is no wifi access in the hotel lobby either. The only way to access to the internet is to go and sit in the Garden Bar and use the wifi there. It was a little awkward sitting in a bar/restaurant and not buying anything, just so I could use the wifi. Overall I would happily stay again.

However with the WiFi accessibility, our hotel management have disconnected all WiFi connections due to the hotel is under going maintenance and renovations. Our Sales and marketing manager left the company just few months back and have failed to updated the website concerning the WiFi. We have already removed the ad from Hotels.com. Good Base for visiting Honiara
Nice place to base yourself for your stay on Guadalcanal. About 3km out of Honiara - a bit far to walk; but the Hotel has a car hire office on site and you should get one anyway to see the island.

Hotel under reconstruction
Upsides - food, gym, staff & pool Downsides - under massive rebuild, building dust from rebuild and road construction, filthy carpet and walls in hall way, quality of construction and finish Paid extra for ocean view room only to get view of a construction site. Fire alarm went off (no reaction by staff) and water switched off without notification (just happened during shower)

Managers trying, but a long way to go
Staff, including managers, very positive and responsive, but many of the staff are fairly inexperienced, which shows. The hotel is quite dated and needs a major renovation (rooms and internal areas especially). Since my last stay there (4 years ago) they have expanded the outside entertainment areas near the pool, meaning there is considerable noise (bands; music; loud talking/drinking) that is unavoidable on the seaside rooms. Happens every night and loud bands Thursday through the weekend -- avoid the seaside rooms at all cost! No/very limited air-conditioning in the restaurant, and as there are no windows, it gets extremely hot and humid. restaurant service very slow, all food is cooked elsewhere in the hotel and brought up to the restaurant. Quality of the food is very ordinary.

A home away from home
We just recently returned from a business trip to Honiara and were pleasantly surprised by the great service and friendly vibe of the Pacific Casino hotel. All staff were helpful and courteous, with management quick to rectify any problems we encountered. The pool bar and the Garden restaurant offer delicious treats and the pool area is nice. Pacific paradise is a great neighbouring restaurant but hot tip - don't order off the menu, ask the chef to make you whatever you want! Note - the WIFI doesn't work on the ground floor and the base rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The seaview suite is spectacular!!

Good, reasonably-priced hotel for Honiara. Fine for a working visit, with free wifi and desk in room. Staff very friendly and caring. Good selection of eateries within hotel and/or within walking distance. Also high pressure and hot showers! I will stay again.

スタッフはやる気ありませんし、バースタッフはしつこく売春婦を毎日勧めてきますし、部屋は汚いし、夜はカラオケがうるさいですし、とにかく最悪のホテルでした。オーナーは中国の方のようです。

It is one of the few hotels in Honiara that provides internet in your room and at reasonable speed.It is a bit away from the center of town and traffic is bad, so allow extra time to get to any meetings. The food was good and the dining room service excellent.

Lacking customer services
Staff do not greet guest on arrival of on enquiry at the reception. You wait for at least up to 5 minutes before someone can serve you even when the reception is empty and you are the only guest.

Alt i alt et bra opphold, men veldig typisk turist-sted med "alt" man trenger på ett sted. Bassenget og rommene er rene, og som det meste i byen er det kinesere som driver stedet. Litt dumt at det ligger litt utenfor sentrum der det er bedre muligheter for restauranter/cafeer o.l.

One of the worst service standards i have been to
Alright here are the facts: 1. The forgot to pick me up from airport, 2. They said oh we did not received any booking from hotels.com and after looking for 10 mins they found it. 3. The breakfast was NOT included. 4. Internet is overpriced 4. The ocean view room has ugly restaurant shed cover. 5. The photos are taken from an angle so that you only see the "good view". Run by chinese and they have no european service standards.

beds are uncomfortable, pillows are old
the staff is very nice but the rooms are dark and dingy. the beds are very uncomfortable, the pills are all breaking up and old. the sheets are cheap and old. pool is great. The TV in my room did not work and there was no effort to make that right. A couple of times I had to spay after shave in the room to get the smell of the maids out. Personal hygiene should be explained to their staff.
