My best friend / boy friend and i stayed about a month yhere back and forth last 2 weeks no TV it was awful . The owners knew us and family . They never once tried giving Me a flat rate for a week to save money never anything to eat like they offer. They were somewhat ruid . I went on and beyond niceness and thought we was treated with disrespect. Sorry Hellen. Need to get your step up. Laquita inn was awesome . Then we stayed at Days inn in madisonville . Very overrated love the atmosphere. People working was very nice and respected our stay .

First stay went well so I decided to book here again, but my second stay(today) had issues. I did early check-in both times and was charged accordingly. Today, after getting off a 12 hour shift at the hospital, when I first checked-in around 7:20am the first room I was assigned was on the 2nd floor, the room was still dirty so I had to go back to the front desk, second room assigned was on the 2nd floor again but this time the room still had people in it, so I had walk back to the front desk. Third room assignment was in the first floor. Took a shower and finally got settled in bed, 1 hour later construction started and it was right above my room, the loudest drilling you can imagine. Went back to the front desk and got a new bed assigned which was on the 2nd floor. I can still hear the construction but thankfully it was muffled and I could sleep. Woke up around 2pm, to my surprise there was no water running, went to the store and came back. Someone from the front desk stopped me to inform me that they’re had to stop plumbing due to construction but it should be back soon. I appreciate the staff being calm and assisting me, but not once did they apologize for all the inconvenience I encountered. I will not be staying here again.

being real, room pics lead you to think this is up there with Marriot or something but don't be fooled. This is a old hotel and looks like they are putting on a coat of paint when it needs a remodel!

this property had cobwebs, ceiling was falling down in bathroom, blankets and pillows had stains and were dirty. luckily we tracel with our own to use on top of yours so we didn't have tob touch them. carpet was filthy. the staff harrased me for 2 days! very unprofessional and rude!

Our 1st room attempt the air conditioner was not working. We were to be switched to another room and a key could not be made so they gave us a pass key and said keys would be made and brought to the room. That room belonged to someone else and was shocking opening the door. luckily they were not in the room at the time. The 3rd attempt still with no key smelled bad so we cancelled our visit. The desk clerk was new and not well trained. She tried her best to help but was not ready to be left alone at night. Having the master made me very paranoid and wondering how many people may have one.

It was overall a good place to stay. Only problem we encountered is that they did not restock the restroom prior to our arrival so we had to ask at the desk for more toilet paper. Housekeeping changed the towels, dumped the trash and vaccumed but did not replace the paper supplies, even after we asked the front desk to make sure it was done.

The room smelled horrible! The carpet was wet and the worst part is it had bed bugs! While I was in the lobby requesting a refund another guest walked up with a dead bed bug on his finger. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The experience was Ok. The reception staff was great. The room I was in was not okay. There was trash in room behind TV stand and peoples socks on floor near bed closest ro door. The restroom was ok however, the toilet did not work properly and the shower dripped all night.

Maintenance issues
We were comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovation but that didn't create any problems. No one was at the front desk when we checked in, so I had to track down the clerk. While we were there, a bathroom light in our room burned out and the toilet stopped flushing well. Also, the elevator always stopped at the 2nd floor even though no one pushed the 2nd floor button. The hot breakfast items were good.

Worse stay ever, room was half made up, tv was on and no remote. Tried to call front desk realized no bulb in lamp phone didn't work. Disgusting ring in tub, missing outlit covers. Musty smell of course air conditioner barely works. for 100 bucks not That cheap.

Front desk clerk was about as personable as a rock. Property is undergoing renovation, so it may be better in the future, but my room was run down and dated. Room was clean and complimentary breakfast was good, but I'd recommend other options in the area.

A little rough......
The location is good, the room was clean and parking was no problem. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. There was only one person at the front desk and she was chatty with the people ahead of me, plus answering the phone, so it took about 30 minutes to check in, and there were people in line behind me at 9pm. In the room neither the coffee pot nor blow dryer worked. There was no bedside lamp, only a floor lamp by the chairs in the sitting area. ALL the electrical sockets were too old and loose to hold my cell phone charger so I couldn't get it to stay plugged in. The elevator stopped at every floor every time it was used, whether there were people waiting or not. Many guests were using the stairs. The hotel was under construction for a remodel so there were paint fumes the first day and constructions workers on site every day.

Property is in the midst of a complete renovation it appears (as of October ‘22). The room I stayed in had a moldy smell upon opening the door. It wasn’t unbearable so I decided to stay, the hotel was also at full capacity. Noticed what appeared to be mold on the curtains by the HVAC unit. Bought some air freshener for the two-night stay and moved on.

Need my money back
We didn't even stay at the hotel when we arrived the desk help was talking about other customers and blaming things on people. They didn't have room keys we had to wait in the hall to be let into the room when we got into the room there were cockroaches also the beds were still dirty from the people that stayed before and us and no smoke detectors or fire alarms in the rooms. It was not sanitary or safe for anyone to stay at.

This hotel needs a lot of work and dedicated staff for it to even be open. Everything in the halls and rooms were filthy. The bath, toilet, sink, hair dryer and worse the sink on/off knob was so gross in our room. Good thing I brought Lysol and Lysol wipes. Carpet gross and none, even halls, were even vacuumed. The elevator buttons didn't work, were broken and entire case loose on wall. There was no state certificate posted in the elevator. Found a switch blade in the room we were in. I have nothing good to say except the front desk person was friendly. This place should be closed!!

Disorganized lol
After checking into my room, I went to the front office to let them know I had no Internet. In the meantime a man come to the office and said someone was in his room. After much discussion I found he had the key to my room. So that was settled. Lady at the front desk trying to make it sound like I went to the wrong room., How did my key work?. Housekeeping had the room clean that there was no toiletries or towels in the room. Most of all no Internet again!

Safety Hazard & Not Well Kept
The public bathroom was out of toilet paper soap and paper towels. They have a pool but it isn’t working, I had to about the pool. They didn’t give me any directions to the room or anything. Half the place seems to be under construction. There are missing sconces and light fixtures so just wires coming out the walls. The elevator was missing a button on the outside and the inside so we could only go to 2 and then took stairs to 3. There is glass & materials everywhere. Doesn’t seem up to code or very safe. We’d not have chosen this hotel had we known. There should’ve been some “under construction” warning.

Hotel was in finishing stages of upgrades but was not an issue. Cosmetically it was eye pleasing, beds were comfy and everything was clean. Nice breakfast buffet. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin so you her every door and conversation. It was still a quiet place for the most part.

The hotel was undergoing room renovations and we had some issues with rooms we were assigned to but the front desk clerk on the evening shift was great. See was determined to get us in a room that was satisfactory to us. First room, the a/c didn't work at all. Second room, the the a/c didn't cool very well and the bathtub faucet wouldn't stop the water running. My wife didn't like the noise of the splashing water. At 9:00 pm we just wanted a room to rest and sleep. Third room was very satisfactory. The a/c worked and no dripping water. I turned on the TV to check it worked and the channels were available. It was a thumbs up! For the price we got on Hotels.com, my wife was happy. Remember, you get what you pay for... things happen.

The workers are lovely. But the bldg itself is not so good. The tv ib our room was so old and grainy. Hair blower doesnt work too.

Property is under renovation, hallways smell like cigarettes and smoke, rooms are non smoking. Room is okay picked it because I could bring in my dog. I would not stay here again, ac not working, bathroom fan is noisy the entire place is noisy. Front staff are great though, they moved me to a different room but it wasn’t any better on the Ac and noise level. Elevator is unsafe don’t use it. It is held together with tape. Nota typical Best Western.
