Dirty . So dirty!! . Spa bath was full of hair , food crumbs all over carpet - hadn’t been vacuumed side table drawer filthy, bathroom floor dirty , light switches and handles grubby . The tv kept on losing signal so could barely watch it .Only 2 pillows supplied , bed very uncomfortable . Blankets in cupboard were shoved inside screwed up into a ball. They were also stained One the worse motels I’ve ever stayed in . Do NOT stay here . I was charged $200 and it was just awful

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sauber und unser Zimmer mit kleiner Küchenzeile war gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir kamen nach den Öffnungszeiten an und es hat trotzdem alles gut geklappt. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt.

The managers should be ashamed of the standard of their accommodation. The microwave in our room was filthy There were no pillowcases on the spare pillows. The tea towel had holes in it. There was a plunger but no plunger coffee unusual these days. Hand washing soap was in the bathroom but none in shower cubicle . The towels were not very white. Only product to use in shower was large shampoo bottle that looked like things were floating in it. There were no face washers. The iron plate was broken. The shower curtain was too short for the cubicle. I’ve not stayed in such a poorly service motel for years. I would not recommend this motel .

Sadly, the rooms facilities have declined since my last stay under previous owners. Icebox in fridge totally iced up and dripping- needs a defrost. Information folder not in room; TV had to be checked out as initially not working then could only get netflix. No TV channels. Soap dispenser empty.

Room was very clean and sufficient for my stay. As it was weekend - no staff on duty but not a problem as key system for entry very easy & texted to phone. Some noise as room near to busy road so if possible would prefer a quieter room next time if possible. Will certainly book again as so handy for Uni and the Mall shops etc.

It's conveniently located, 15mins walk to UC and 5mins walk to Riccarton Westfield. Plenty of parking available and lots of takeaways, shops and eating places close by. Room itself was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and they also allowed me to keep my luggage as I arrived early check-in and when I checked out, again they let me keep my luggage till I sorted things out. Thank you

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean but some updating of furnishings is needed. To be fair all you need is there. Handy location for Uni, Riccarton Mall and the CBD. Would book again.

property was convenient , the lack of on site manager was not, diverter from bath to shower did not work, so could not get a decent shower, no manager on site to remedy.

I have stayed at this property quite a few times in the past and slowly they have become more run down. Definitely need revamping. I don't think management care. They advertise 50 sky channels, maybe get 10.

Hi Roger, e send you a message through Expedia message box on 10:15 PM,5 minutes after you booked with us, because the contact info you left with us is invalid, we could not find you neither through email and phone number. We left the key inside the key box for you and sent through the code in Expedia message box, which you could find it in Expedia. And we left a note at our reception door that night with on site manager number just in case you didn't get the message. However, we didn't receive any phone call that night according to our record. I'm sorry about your experience, but we've done everything we could trying to let you know the key box code but you were unreachable. And it was over 10PM which is after-hour already. Our onsite manager was waiting for your call but it never came.At this stage, sorry about your experience, but we've done everything we could do during that night.

A disappointing stay. The property was run down and in a bit of disrepair. There was no heating in the room other than a bathroom heater and the plumbing in the shower/bath was faulty, the bathroom window latch was broken and made it difficult to open and close the window. The property is situated on a main arterial road with a room that was not sound proof in any way. We got very little sleep due to road noise, cars, police sirens, and noisy people heading home from a night out.

Friendly staff, easy check in, had everything we needed for overnight stay - some info was conflicting in signage/compendium and bed was rather hard and could do with updating but overall good value for the price. Would stay again.

Very small unit; moldy areas in bathroom, lots of condensation from showering. Carpet could do with a good clean or renewed. States 50 TV channels but could barely get a few sky channels. Manager did reduce the cost for our 5th night👍

This motel unit was worn out and dirty - carpet very worn, curtains were marked, skirting board dirty and marked, stool had mould on it and sheets had marks. Quite unpleasant.

Staff so friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice and cosy, bed was comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Always a good .place to stay.
We have stayed here several times before and always find it very convenient to everything - with the mall almost across the road. Only problem was with the shower head in the shower not sitting upright - kept flopping down. Beds were nit particularly comfortable. A couple of king singles would have been great - maybe next time ?? Very friendly helpful staff !!

Not so good, the room is small and not very clean. Also did not get the correct size of beds as it advertised. Customer service was poor. Will not recommend to stay unfortunately.

Location for a shopping trip the best 🛍️ very close to Riccarton Mall lots of food outlets in walking distance. Metro bus exchange handy with lot's of buses into central Christchurch and elsewhere if you don't want to drive easy Uber service. I will use Majestic 166 Motel again 😃

We checked out early so early we didnt stay the second night as it was not what was advertised room was not soundproof locks on doors didn't lock securely latches on window were broken and sky is advertised 50 channels not true all we could get was sport not a fan it was not the anniversary i wanted for my husband and myself very disappointed

Property sign said it had 50 Sky channels. This wasn't true. We asked for twin beds. They were standard singles but were very uncomfortable.
