I appreciated the warm welcome extended by the hotel staff, in particular the two gentlemen at the Front Desk. Andres from Argentina took the time to connect with us personally when he found out we were from there. He was personal with his approach and the genuine and sincere service provided yet not intrusive, was applaudable. He greeted us with a smile every time we passed by.
Also there was a gentleman (with British accent?) who assisted us with both check-in & check-out was extremely helpful and took the time to suggest an itinerary for our family. The quality of service by all personnel was consistent during the stay. The two gentlemen mentioned above at the Front Desk staff & the Bell staff, as well as the female staff in the breakfast restaurant in particular (in black uniform - sorry wasn’t able to get her name) truly deserve praise. Although we did not have the time, she always made sure to keep us informed about the special events at the bar (they have complimentary cocktail & wine classes!) Not only that - this lady when she found out that it was our last day, she brought us a special dessert & a handwritten card. When does one get such treat during busy breakfast service at a hotel restaurant?!?! This trip was a family get-together and a belated birthday celebration for my mother. They nicely had upgraded both rooms overlooking Las Ramblas. Room was of decent size featuring Etro branded amenities.
