Kleiner Familienbetrieb, man konnte direkt von der Unterkunft zum Strand gehen, sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die Insel Tortuguero ist sehr sehenswert und etwas ganz Besonderes.

Simple accommodations, great for the price. Steps from the beach, which was amazing. Restaurant was simple, didn't have all menu items, but food was good and staff was excellent. The only gripe was the pillows were pretty old and kinda nasty.

The staff is perfect, kind, and helpful. One must remember that you are paying for a inexpensive room on the coast of a narrow island. So bring your own soaps. You get the experience of the place. It was quiet away from main drag. The rooms look like the photos. The turtle observing system is regulated incredibly well.

Close to the ocean and cheap
You get what you pay for, located just by the ocean it is a good place to take your morning swim. Beds are ok, it is clean but as many places of Costa Rica there is no windows. It's close to the park entrance for the walking part of Tortuego. So many Friendly stray dogs to play with. It's a perfect place for the younger generation not suitable for the elderly. It is somewhat hard to find, it's not marked so you might have to use your GPS on your phone, there are no streets only trails in the town. Good thing is that it is located on the outskirts of the town so it is very quiet.

Petit hôtel bien situé mais bruyant le samedi soir jusqu’à 23h. Chambre très simple.Sanitaires humides. Pas de service de nettoyage de la chambre contrairement à ce qui était annoncé(gênant car on ramène du sable à chaque sortie). Avons payé 50$ la nuit avec une réservation trés précoce et aurions payé 25$ en attendant le dernier moment.

Friendly and quaint
Nice staff! Don Alberto and Ian were wonderful. Very attentive and informative. Hotel room is no frills but great place to stay at an affordable price. Walking path leads straight to the beach. Lovely town.

Never again!!!
Nur ein Bett und einTisch im Raum, Kakerlake im Bad, alles schmuddelig, Umgebung alles andere als sauber. Das Hotel muss aus dem Expedia-Angebot rausgenommen werden.

So sorry this guest had a poor experience with the previous administration! The hotel is under new administration and has been completely renovated. We welcome guests to come enjoy the ocean view and clean rooms!

La mejor opción!!
Es muy pequeña y rústica pero muy limpia, acogedora y todos muy atentos y lindos. La habitación es muy sencilla, las camas, una mesita y un lugar donde colgar la ropa. Pero el agua de la regadera es caliente, las camadas son cómodas y la limpieza es excepcional. Además tiene una terraza con hamaca y sillones para descansar, con café gratis, libros y cartas. Tortugueros es un pueblo pequeño pero hermoso, 1km por 200m, de un lado la laguna y del otro el Mar Caribe!

Hotel económico y comodo
Muy buen ambiente, es barato y es cómodo en relación con su precio. El único detalle es que no tiene vidrios en las ventanas, hay piro mosquiteros en el cuarto y el baño. Entonces cuando hace mucho aire no hay forma de cerrar

Las habitaciones han estado completamente renovadas y el hotel está bajo nueva administración. Tenemos 4 habitaciones con aire acondicionado para su comodidad.

Very noisy staff and guests playing music and drin
Very noisy staff and guests playing music and drinking. Staff sometimes rude. Only clean beachside room if you ask. So basic dont even provide soap. Only net for curtains so youll be up at 4am. Wifi worked fine. Hot water intermittant. Much better available nearby for lower price.

Overall good room! Very close to beach!
The hotel manager was very accomodating and helpful. The distanced to the beach was awesome! The room was very clean and spacious, but the beds were very uncomfortable - hard beds and bad pillows. I would rate our stay a 3.5/5 at Miss Miriam's 2!

Beach Hideaway
This is a rustic hotel - ask for room 8 - greet location by the beach and off the Main Street - very rustic, no A/C but a wonderful little hideaway - great upstairs balcony
