사진만 잘 나온 모텔
모텔다운 모텔이다. 별로 기대하지 말것. WREST POINT HOTEL 예약이 꾁 차서 하는 수 없이 근처 모텔429 예약했는데, 밤 늦게 도착하니 리셉션에 사람이 없어 전화해서 키 숨겨둔 곳에서 키를 찾았다. 방 관리는 잘하나 원래 맨션 같은 곳니라 그런지 몰라도 복도에 벌레도 꽤 날아다니고(왜냐하면 개방형 복도식 맨션이기 때문) 식당도 없고 근처에 있는 거라곤 2~3km 걸어야 나오는 주유소에 딸린 편의점이 다. wrest point hotel은 야간에 식당이 문을 닫기 때문에 식사든 술이든 뭐든 할게 없다. 암튼 여러모로 불편하다. 가급적 SALAMANCA SQUARE 쪽으로 숙소를 잡길 권한다.

Convenient for use around University of Tasmania
타스마니아 대학 방문을 목적으로 도보거리에서 모텔이지만 가깝고, 객실도 편안한 느낌을 주며, 자취할 수 있게 시설도 갖춰진 좋은 모텔이었습니다. 단, View가 있다고 했는데, 머물렀던 방은 그렇지 않았고, 피트니스룸 등 안내가 소홀했으나, 체크인시 우유나 커피를 , 웰컴 드링크도 주었습니다.

Large hotel room with microwave, cooktop, kettle, toaster and pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. Tea coffee sugar for 2 days. Great little set up directly across the road from the casino.

Great location. Nice room. A little noisy from other guests. Worst bed I have slept in anywhere I think. Not at all comfortable including the pillows

One of the best motels I have stayed in. I stayed a wee with my wife and daughter and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very spacious and location ideal for a holiday and work.

Very nice place. We are used to staying in the centre of the city. This was a refreshing change to be near the water. We hope to stay again.

We were given an early check in, the room was good except the safe did not work.Exceptional service by the Reception lady Erica who was most helpful and caring. The Motel in Sandy bay was in a great position opposite the water and an easy drive to the city. Would recommend highly.

I found the area very convenient and easy access to all parts of Hobart. The room was claen & tidy and was claened daily. Could walk to Casino. All in all very pleasant stay in Hobart.

My family enjoyed staying at Motel 429 on two occasions during our recent trip to Tasmania. The room had a kitchenette (microwave, stovetop, bar fridge, sink, cutlery and crockery), the beds were comfortable and there were spare pillows and towels. It was clean and had plenty of room for bags/cases. Two minor issues were that our room on the third floor was hot in the afternoon as it was facing the sun (but the room did have air conditioning and that warmth would be welcome during winter), and there was no Netflix (which was provided by all our other motels). Overall, the motel was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely stay there again.

The room was very dusty and triggered my hayfever. The shower wasn’t very clean. I also find the rooms to be noisy both road noise and noise from other guests. Bed was comfortable, parking is great, room was well equipped.

Nice location on the water. Easy check-in facilities for a late check-in. Limited dining options nearby and in room dining overpriced ($5 can of coke). Rooms were nice and tidy.

The room wasn’t made up until the last night and I was short on toilet paper etc, room had dust on top of cupboards and also some mould in the shower. Disappointing as I’ve stayed here a lot prior to 2019 and it has really changed

We have stayed before and thought was good. Seems to have deteriorated a little, cracked bathroom sink and the room layout was not as good as previous ones we have stayed in
