Do not prepay if u have to check out early they will not refund you I booked 3 nights had to check out 1 night early went to do my check out at 9:15 am. Check out went fine till I ask for my refund. No refund. Cause I prepaid that a joke they should have been glad I prepaid them but I got no refund and the keep my money for 1 night that I wasn’t even there and re rented the room to someone else double pay for them. Not very clean room had a oder just a old motel but is close to lots of places

We had a clump of hair on the bathroom floor. Staff wasn’t very friendly. When we woke up in the am there were ants crawling up the wall, on the desk where my belongings were and subsequently inside my belongings.

Unplanned weekend.
The motel room was clean but well used. Sparsely supplied with the essential items anyone would expect to find in a motel these days. This location seems a bit run down, but for the price I suppose it was ok. Staff was friendly and courteous though.

You should probably try somewhere else
The room smelled like mold/mildew. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off and there were stains on the carpet.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Motel 6, and the staff is very accommodating. Our room did not have a fridge and microwave, they did bring one to the room. The room was very clean! The gave us extra pillows and towels when we asked for them. This hotel is dated but very clean and reasonably priced. The pool was always clean. We will be back in a few months to stay again!!!

Check it out before you check in
Everything was great except for a broken a/c unit in July. Clean, good service. The room was warm when I arrived, so I turned it on high, took a shower and left. When I came back it was still uncomfortably warm but too late at night to get any assistance. I didn’t press the issue next day at checkout, but I did let them know. I’d probably try and stay there again in the future.

Clean, Affordable & Friendly!!!
This was my familes 2nd time staying here. After last year's experience I knew we were staying here again. They have some dog friendly rooms if needed, they are clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating. They always let me see my room before checking in (I always do that anywhere I stay). The pool is very inviting. The location is right in the heart of it all, plus right next door to an amazing Mexican restaurant. We will always stay here when coming to Cave City. They have fresh coffee (and creamer) in the lobby in the mornings. The staff (both years) has always been incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Room smelled foul, no towels, bedbugs found.
When ready for shower, we realized there were no towels. A/C unit was old and wasn’t working properly. When ready to go bed, bedbugs were visibly on sheets after taking blanket off. Staff were not believing us when we came to the front desk and complained about the bed bugs. Staff had to come to the room and take pictures. They didn’t offer to move to another room. Horrible experience.

Room was filthy! Had a horrible odor. I had a room reserved but took a very long time to get checked in. Staff was sloppy and very unprofessional. The bed was a rock. Stained floors and dirty toilet. Never staying there again

We just needed an inexpensive place to stay and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. Staff were helpful and they had a pool to relax in. The facility is located conveniently near the caves

Great Addition to Motel 6 Branding
Beautiful large lodging which recently came under the Motel 6 branding. Nice very clean room. Any updating/painting was properly completed, aka, not smeared on surrounding surfaces. Hope new ownership/management replace some of the plantings. Beautiful pool area. We had room overlooking pool area. Air was easily controlled to achieve comfortable room temp. Beds quite comfortable. Staff at front desk I had contact with were very pleasant and friendly. Very accommodating. Hot coffee in morning just off lobby as usual at Motel 6. A vacuum/thermos of hot water to make hot cocoa would have been nice, possibly having packets for purchase at front desk. Well placed convenient ice machines---and they worked wonderfully. Wi-Fi was the best. Very pet friendly with possibly best area to "walk" pet of any lodging I have ever had a stay at. This facility is a great lodging to add to the Motel 6 brand. If continues to be staffed and well maintained this facility will definitely assist in removing some of the negativity (stigma?) associated by some travelers with the Motel 6 branding/properties. I, for one always want a basic very clean and well maintained hotel/motel. I do not need the extra "bells and whistles" which remain unused. But, cleanliness, comfortable bedding and attention to details to upkeep and maintenance is a must.

Convenient to Mammoth Cave and very reasonably priced. The motel (an old Holiday Inn) was not very crowded and was therefore pleasantly quiet. However, the toilet bowl in my room had not been thoroughly cleaned for too long - deposits that flushing would not remove. After leaving a note for the cleaning staff to take care of this on day 2 off my stay, it was still not addressed. The note was moved, so I know it was seen. Should have changed rooms, but I was seldom there and I was able to avoid contact - have seen worse. It was room 136 if the motel sees this and chooses to do anything about the matter.

Recliner did not work in the room the room had mold in the bathroom the tub you could even said it was worn out it was just a pretty dirty room I think the whole facil DE was that way not just that room I can only comment on the room

I don't need to spend a lot on a room just for a stop on a road trip. You get what you pay for generally but this room could have been a little cleaner. Stains on curtains and box frame of bed, sheets were clean.

Well the pool is closed but its also the reason i booked that one because it said online "indoor pool" ..... i also searched for breakfast included and guess what... no breakfast. It was quiet and the beds were soft but the wifi didnt work. We wont go back there and next time ill call to make sure the pool is working.

There was no remote for the tv, called the service desk they acted as if we were lying, then said they would see if they had an extra remote never heard anything else out of them. Went to take a shower the water turned cold within 5 minutes. The recliner in the room had white stains all over it. Booked the hotel online it never said anything about having to have a $200 deposit until we got there to check in and if we didn’t have the deposit it was still going to charge me for that room either way. The smell in the room wasn’t very pleasant. I will never stay at another motel 6!

The room was clean and spacious. I loved the micro-wave and refrigerator. Nice big TV. Heating and cooling worked great. Staff was very friendly and helped in the morning with a printed boarding pass. Very pleasantly surprised.

Location and nearby restaurant, liquor store, interstate was nice. The motel was deserted. Service at the front desk seemed uninterested. Ice maker barely worked. At least one light, and one power outlet in our room was not working. Not enough power outlets for two of us to be charging devices. Decent channels on the TV. Barely got two bars of WIFI. No coffee maker, but there was fridge & microwave.

Horrible place to stay
Rooms are outdated and have a musty smell. Our heat went out in the middle of the night and when we woke at 2am freezing we called the front desk. We were informed there were no other available rooms and had to sleep in a room with no heat. Woke up at 630 freezing. Will never stay at this or any hotel with this franchise.

It's exactly what I wanted and needed. A clean room and bed and bath for me. That's all I wanted, but on top of that the employee spoke English and was friendly, there was a nice TV and refrigerator, there was actually maid service every day which really surprised me, and the carpet was soft and clean. And it was cheap! What else can you want, it was perfect! I don't see how they can do it for the price. Plus in season there is a nice sized pool in the center. If you ever need to stay in Cave City this is the place.
