Area round the motel looks like abandoned industrial area, feels run down. The room was clean, well arranged, but needed careful attention to maintenance. (I passed on details to the desk person, who said he would take care of it.)

The room had essentially no heat, no spare blankets, limited soap and shampoo, shower leaked on the floor, sheets were wrinkled and looked worn.

The desk clerk was very helpful. She told me about a restaurant that I had never been to and it turned out to be a very nice place.

There is nasty brown stuff in the shower....dirty and stinky place. I won't be able to shower. Will sleep in a sleeping bag on top of the bed. Yuck!!!

For a hotel to be located in the area that the temperature drops low and for the heater to not work at all I think for anyone that is unacceptable spent most of the night trying to figure out how to stay warm no number of blankets would warm up a temperature below 0 degrees

Older motel but clean and very quiet. As we prepared to leave on Christmas Day, we experienced vehicle trouble and Joseph of maintenance went above/beyond to try to find us help. And, due to the cold temperatures, the front desk manager allowed us to stay past checkout as we waited for the help to arrive.

Good but very cold room!
The room was very clean and would have been super comfortable if the heater had been turned on before we arrived. I slept with a sweatshirt over my PJ's and it was almost 5 AM before the room warmed up enough to be called comfortable. We didn't use the shower because the room was soooooo cold - and I was looking forward to that when I knew it was a walk in shower! I'd recommend the motel as long as the temperature outside wasn't so cold.

Disappointing
Two ice machines, both out of order, so no ice. No waste basket in the room, anywhere. Had to put trash on the bathroom counter. Wash cloth was dirty, needed to be bleached, or thrown away. Strands of black hair in the shower, on the soap dish and sides of the shower. About the only good thing I can say is that the check in person was very pleasant. No soda machine, so she offered me her own person Dr Pepper.

Everything has been fine so far. The desk staff was wonderful, the room was spotless, and everything was in place. No complaints at all.

The rooms were in excellent condition! The memory foam mattress was very comfortable! The motel is older but is in good condition. The young gal running the front desk was excellent and very friendly. I would stay there again.

Was hard for me to find as im not familiar with GPS on my phone. But a man at a store put it in my phone & i found it...but definitely is not an easy location. Everything here is fine tho

I was traveling on a road trip and this is somewhere I have stayed previously. It’s a great budget option. Clean, basic accommodations. Easy and friendly check-in.

I canceled my Expedia reservation for this motel after seeing. I booked a room in this hotel because it was advertised that they had a working swimming pool, but the pool was not in service upon arrival. Our potential room loomed to be dirty and ill-serviced. The motel’s lobby needed a good vacuuming. We were lucky to find another room at a much nicer hotel, fortunately. after calling around. When I return to Raton, I will not book at the Travelodge by Windham Raton again.

Pool out of commission in July
I booked special so my daughter would have a pool to play in after driving all day and the pool had no water. An employee randomly knocked on our door and startled us, asking if we were ok. Ice machine was iffy. I didn’t pay much but I did pay too much.
