Property is well located, close to the harbour (but not too close), on a quiet corner. There are good restaurants and dive shop options all walkable. Overall, the property is a little run down, but has great potential. They were building a new pool. The room had a musty smell (particularly the bed), and air conditioning was not as effective as others we have enjoyed in Indonesia. The restaurant was frustrating at times- not bringing the bill when we asked for it (this happened more than once) and so, we stopped eating there.

7Seas Cottages are only a short walk away from the harbour which is great and a stone's throw away from some really great restaurants and the sunrise spot on the island. We were welcomed by friendly staff members but the room itself was quite dingy and dark and hadn't been fully cleaned when we arrived as there was rubbish in the bathroom. The room and terrace itself needed a lick of paint to freshen it up and the bed was unfortunately really uncomfortable. The WiFi was really poor too which meant we had to go to a coffee shop to do some work. The pool area was great though. Overall this place was really convenient and quiet and the staff were all lovely, I just feel that it needs a little make over to make it amazing and comfortable.

It’s a wooden cottage, full of insects, dirty net around the bed.Smell of mold inside of wardrobe and since it’s inside of the forest you can hear weird bird all night making weird sounds.I stayed 1 night And booked another hotel.Picture from Expedia is misleading and in reality it’s different story.

Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä. Huone (villa) tilava ja siisti ja uima-allas loistava. Aamupala ihan ok mutta ei loistava. Muutama torakka vähän laski tunnelmaa mutta niitä ei onneksi ollut riesaksi asti. Sijainti loistava.

Hotellet ligger nära stranden och hamnen där själva centrum börjar. Var rätt mycket renoveringar på hotellet och runt om pga jordbävningen 2018. Fick därför oxå äta på grannhotellets frukost. AC brummade lite högt men annars var det bra med balkong med utsikt över havet.

Déçue...
Déçue par la qualité de l’établissement, malgré l’amabilité du personnel. L'établissement ne correspond pas vraiment aux photos, il est en construction (ou en rénovation). On utilise d’ailleurs le restaurant de l’hotel d’à côté car celui de l’hotel est en construction. La piscine n’est pas dans l’hotel, mais un peu plus loin sur la rue, elle ne semble pas très entretenue et en effet l’école de plongée s’en sert pour ses entraînements... En revanche, à 5min à pied du port (pratique pour éviter les calèches tirées par des chevaux en souffrance) et proche des plages de tortues (même si, personnellement, nous n’en avons pas vu en 3 jours). La chambre est tout à fait correcte, confortable et propre (sauf murs et plafond, un peu usés par le temps). Le petit déjeuner est varié (toasts, œufs, mais aussi local) avec thé ou café + jus. Pas de TV (même si nous ne sommes pas là pour la regarder, ça peut être un plus pour le soir).

life is a beach
great place to stay, close enough to the dive shop without being on top of it. Great restaurants all around and only a five minute walk from the ferry pier. Would definitely stay again, it was clean, staff were great, nothing i needed that i couldnt get

Good location for boat dock and restaurants
Located a short walk from the boat dock within easy reach of a number of restaurants. Good pool although can be full of divers being trained. Good layout with you own private garden, massive bathroom and good air can. Will return here next time we are on Gili Air.

年末年始に泊まりました。まず、水回りやエアコンはOKでした。お湯も十分でました。 しかし、コテージなのである程度覚悟する必要はあったのかと思いますが、隙間だらけで蚊がすごかったです。バリの比ではありません。毎夜10頭以上はつぶしていました。天蓋付きベットは蚊帳の役目を果たすことを初めて知りました（３日目に気づきました）が、それでも隙間から蚊が侵入しました。蚊がダメな方は十分な対応をするか、Giliへの渡航をやめることをお勧めします。 立地について、他の投稿にもあったように道沿いのコテージと道から少し入ったコテージがあります。 最初に割り振られたコテージはレストランの真ん前で、レストランではかなりの音量の音楽を流しています。ドアを閉めると重低音だけが聞こえてきて逆に不気味で寝ていられませんでした（閉店が-10時なので深夜は大丈夫です）。そんなことで部屋の変更をお願いすると二つ隣りでした。音楽はそこそこ聞こえるのですが重低音の直撃からは解放されホットしましたが、隣がプールで朝から子供のはしゃぎ声がうるさかったです。年末年始やラマダン明けでなければ子供は少なく快適釜も知れません。　 　 スタッフの対応や、清掃などは非常に良いもので好感が持てました。

Basic hotel
Pro: breakfast in the cabana on the beache and location near the harbor. Pool ok. Cons: old bungalow, dark. FOR FAMILIES: not what we expected as a family bungalow since the 2 rooms are separated and you need to get out to go from one room to the other. So with young kids it is impossible to do one room for the kids and let them sleep alone. when we arrive the air con what not working, they fix it. And there was no mosquito net on 2 beds/over 3 befs. They manage to put a net only on 2/3 beds. The staff was ok. For the money we have seen a lot better in Amed and Ubud but maybe for Gili Air it is ok? I personally would not recommend going there.

Nice bungalows in a perfect position
The bungalows are clean and with a lot of space. The bathroom is really nice even if the traditional shower is not so comfortable. The position is perfect, near the best part of the island: great restaurants on the beach for dinner and beaches with sunbeds at 50/100k rupiah.

Good budget place
The staff was friendly, check in was easy, gave us towels for the beach, printed my boarding pass. My only complaint is that the bathroom smelled funny and it would not go away. Overall a decent place to sleep - you get what you pay for.

Great staff but facilities are disappointing
When we arrived at our room, surprised that we had been located opposite the bar area despite requesting a quiet room. Facilities are very basic and were in poor condition. Our toilet didn't flush in the evenings!! The staff were very hard working and tried to make the room as nice as possible. The highlights of the hotel are nice pool, friendly and hard working staff and gorgeous view of the island and beach. Also, within walking distance from the harbour.

Fantastic stay on Gili Air, great value for money!
I had a lovely stay at the 7seas hostel. It is calm and close to everything - weather it is diving schools, great restaurants, the port, snorkelling trips and other great activities. It is located on the busier area of the island (remember that Gili Air is not that busy though!), yet it is very quiet at night. 3 beds per room makes it very cosy and calm, but the rooms can get quite warm. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they are there for you all around the clock with great tips but also would do anything to make you feel comfortable. I would really recommend this place, and it is absolutely great value for money!!

Schönes großes Superiorzimmer in guter Lage
Schöne Hotelanlage nicht weit vom Pier entfernt. Hatten ein schönes Superior Zimmer, mit großem Bad, eigener kleiner Terrasse und Garten. Gutes Frühstück gibts im gegenüberliegenden Cafe. Personal nett und hilfsbereit.

Worth every penny!
We stayed one week at 7 Seas and were very satisfied. Worth every penny! Great location and hotel. Clean room and good service from the staff. The only downside is the wi-fi, we lost connection quite often and had trouble to log in. Breakfast was good but the service and meny varies from day to day.

clean, close to all restaurants, harbor
Gili Air was an amazing experience, great value for your money. It is older but it is still clean and cleaned daily. The staff are lovely and helpful, the location is great, the breakfast is delicious with amazing views. Again it is not one of the newer hotels but the deal we got on Hotel.com made our stay very worth it.

Incredible Value
the location was just far enough away from the harbor to be calm and quiet but close enough to carry your bags. great snorkeling right in front of room. breakfast was great and good portions plus you can choose from several options. room was clean, staff was friendly. plus a gym?! wifi was spotty but way better than expected for a tiny island

Spacious Rooms, Great Staff, Location, Awful WiFi.
Spacious and comfortable rooms with big bathrooms. Delightful staff who were extremely friendly. The Garden Cafe had a wide beachfront position with plenty of shade. WiFi was truly awful - virtually useless. 7 Seas Dive School which is part of the property is excellent.

Gute Wahl
Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, gleich beim Strand, 2 Minuten vom Hafen, weit weg von der Moschee bzw. dem Lautsprecher. Das Personal an der Reception weiss nicht viel.. aber man findet sich auf der kleinen und sehr sympathischen Insel schnelö selber zurecht
