Pleasantly Surprised.
Pleasantly Surprised with this stay. It is dated but you can tell they care and is super clean. And you can't beat if for the price. Would stay again!

Check towels, don’t expect good maid service
Paid for three people and had towels for only two. One of the towels was dirty and full of hair. When house keepers ng came in they left only two sets of towels and did not bother to collect the used ones. They also said they could not make the beds. No reason why. The good thing though is the desk person did move us away from an undesirable situation with no question asked.

My room had Beer in the fridge. I don’t drink. Which tells me the room wasn’t cleaned properly. Glad a minor didn’t rent this room. After a long day was looking forward to a hot shower, no hot water.

Elizabeth at the front desk was a karen ,she has no hospitality especially to black people,i was there because that hotel was one of closest to Paris Island for my daughter graduation from the marine, we never feel welcome, never going back there ...

Not what was advertised
The desk could not process my American Express we tried two different cards. They wanted cash but eventually took a master card. First 10 channels on TV all religious. Last 10 channels ponorgorphy. The breakfast advertised was an apple they had drinks for sale. This place stunk and was dirty.

Won't book super8 in South Carolina anymore..
Tha door didn't have tha weather strep all tha way round tha door,had to ask for ash trays...it was all bullcrap but we wanted to see our MARINE...BUT OVER ALL IT WAS NOT A WONDERFULLY STAY..MY OTHER FAMILY KILLED 2ROACHES IN THEIR ROOM

Room was not clean and had a bad odor to it. The floor was so dirty you could not walk around the room barefoot without your feet turning black.

I checked in early since I came from Florida for my sons Graduation from the Marine Corp. I had a reservation and they said they had one room but it was a smoking room. After asking my 25 yr old daughter if that was ok with her since we both are non smokers, I have been quit for over a yr, and we had traveled already 6 yrs after our 9 hr work shifts we just needed a bed to get some sleep. Opening the door to the room it was SO STRONG, we had to spray the room down!! My daughter’s allergies kicked in so bad she took 2 Zyrtecs. Getting up at 4am to hit Parris island we did not want to leave our belongings there any longer! I can say when we got back to the hotel they did kindly reimbursed me half of my second day, since I didn’t tell them this before 11am. I told them I’m sorry I was spending time with my son and I understand. BUT if they read this…. PLEASE do better with ventilation, air purifier maybe for your “smoking” rooms, which I was shocked that they still have! Not only that but I was slightly confused about the ceiling in the room……

I'm glad to hear that the hotel was responsive in reimbursing you for half of your second day.Your suggestion about improving ventilation or using air purifiers in smoking rooms is a valid one. Things Travlers May Want to Know
We chose this motel because it was affordable and a short drive to Parris Island for grandson's graduation from Marine Corps boot camp. The motel room gave the appearance as having been updated. The decor was nice, to include bed coverings and nice wall art. However, when we arrived in our room we found that the fridge was leaking water on the floor, the TV wouldn't come on and the microwave not operating. We realized that all three were plugged into a power strip, which was plugged into another power strip, which was plugged into a household type extension cord! Somewhere along the way one of those had become unplugged. Bedside lamps were plugged into extension cords. Don't think that set up would be approved by the fire marshall! When we wiped up the water from the leaking fridge with tissues, the tissues were absolutely black. Made us wonder how often the floors are actually cleaned. We had no issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom fixtures. They seemed to very clean. The bath towels were small and thin but we made them work. We weren't expecting a fancy breakfast but truthfully it was disappointing - no bowls for cereal, only one lid left for coffee cup (coffee from a thermos type container), napkin tray w/3 napkins left. The other breakfast choices - a banana-nut mini-muffin and/or an apple from a bowl. We stayed four nights and each day the same. The food area was not well cleaned except for Sunday am the desk clerk did a great job. She was very friendly.

Awful experience
There’s no way that the pictures on line looked that hotel. My sister in laws room was a smoking room, yuck…who has smoking rooms anymore. My room was not a smoking room but had cigarette burns in the bedspread and the small couch in there was disgusting. We did not stay either night. We still had to pay for one night. It was really awful

this was not the same property listed on expedia when I booked. picture was not at all what the property actually looked like. the hotel had unsavory people walking around trying to borrow or ask for things when we walked outside of the room. the hotel staff were nice and helpful but apparently its in a semi bad area and not very safe in my opinion. looks like false advertising to me and i will be asking for some of my money refunded.
