Cleanliness was excellent 10/10. The experience and staff however was DEFINITELY way below that 0/10... I booked my trip on Expedia for a meeting I had so I didn't have to drive as far the next morning. Get to the hotel to check in and 1st off she makes a deal about my email address not matching my card name, WHAT, why does that matter then told all 3rd party bookings will be charged an extra $200 "hold deposit", said just forget it, no way, I would just call and cancel, she goes and gets a man who then says no cancel we just hold $50 case you smoke in room, get it right back after checkout, told him I'm just here for a work meeting in the morning, nobody's going to smoke in the room. Checkout the next morning, he tells me they DIDN'T charge my card at all, okay that's great, thank you. I leave on a break something tells me to check my card, and sure enough they did charge my card. Go back after the meeting and the guys gone but the ladies back, tell her what he said and showed her the transaction, she said yes I know I charge your card, I once again tell her what he said, that you guys DIDN'T..I asked when she reversed the charges, she said after you turned in key.Here it is 4 days later and still no refund and yes I called my bank, no pending refusal credits for Clarion Hotel. Horrible horrible customer service, he said she said. And not to mention you gotta stand at the counter and tell Hello 3-4 times before someone actually appears
