Excellent - Well recommended
Newly refurbished dog friendly room, with powerful shower and allocated parking space. The owners are really friendly and the guest house is well situated at the top of the hill in Bowness.

Lovely property, room was cosy and the bed so comfy! Owners were friendly and very helpful and welcoming, offering suggestions about places to eat and visit in the local area. Good walking distance from both Bowness and Windermere.

Home from home
Highly recommended room. From Netflix to cotton buds and from modern and clean! Parking free is a bonus especially as I arrived in a large van! Nice people.

Bowness Guesthouse
A long weekend away in the lakes. Lovely accommodation with very friendly and knowledgable owners. Great location and close to shops, cafes and restaurants etc.

Perfect
Lovely clean airy room. The TV even had Netflix! The only downside for me was the mattress, it felt too soft or worn in. Parking might be a bit tricky to find, location of the property is excellent. I felt completely at home and the owners are lovely and genuinely helpful. Hope to return for a longer stay next time :)

Beautifully kept and spacious rooms. Owners were very pleasant and communication was top notch. Highly recommend and will make sure to stay here the next time we are in Bowness.

Would happily stay again!
Great friendly hosts, provided all the basic amenities you would need. Room comfortable, homely and within easy walking distance of bowness shops and restaurants.

5* Guest House - Absolutely Recommend!
We cannot recommend Bowness Guest House enough & we will absolutely be returning! Upon arrival we received a very personal check in - we were shown to our room & given an overview of the room facilities, the hosts took their time to chat to us and gave us recommendations of where is good to eat / drink in Bowness! Our room was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities you would need for a weekend away. The tea / coffee making facilities were a lovely touch & we were provided with an ice cold bottle of water on arrival. Genuinely cannot fault at all - a 5 star from me!

Amazing stay at Bowness Guest House
Loved our stay, Michelle made us feel so welcome and offered great recommendations. The guesthouse was really nicely decorated and our room was so nice. We will definitely be staying again. The location was just perfect and only a short walk to the lake.

Lovely Guest House
Lovely room. We stayed in the ‘Dog friendly’ room even though we didn’t have a dog (this was the only room available). Room was lovely and clean and had the bonus of parking available with this room. Host was very friendly and informative. Would stay again. Just got breakfast from Monties on the main road.

The en suite bedroom was clean and newly furnished. The owners were helpful and friendly. Located within walking distance of the main shops and attractions. Parking next too the property was limited and difficult.
