Extremely friendly host. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, just have to ask or look in the fridge. Terrace was an excellent benefit. Location was perfect if you want to visit the Vatican, and not far by bus or metro from anywhere else you’d want to go. VERY close to the train station - getting to the airport was a breeze. Comfy bed. Would stay again!

Great stay

I was welcomed and shown my room and in the morning I had breakfast and given a map of the areas I wanted to see. I was ready to check out earlier than breakfast the next morning and I called and he responded right away to tell me not to worry, that my bags would be fine until I came back. He even told me how to take the bus system. I was welcomed and I felt comfortable the whole time.

What should we say? An Anonymous bad review with no comment or motivation written by the guest. One 2 on almost one hundred forty five 4.5/5. We like reviews, either bad or good, but what we would like to read.. and what we think it's very important is the comment. With the comment we can try to get better because we love our customers. Sorry for that: looks more like an unexplained punishment than a bad review. We don't know what to say.

Fabrizio was very informative and helpful. Breakfast was very disappointing. I expected a continental but it was basically dried packet of toast, apple and yoghurt. B&b was central and on good transport links.

Hi, dear customer and good morning. Thanks for giving us your opinion but we would like to clarify some points.. we must do it for our readers. First of all we are sorry but how can you expect a continental breakfast when it's clearly written on the platform where you have booked the room that we serve local Italian breakfast? We don't understand. Only an apple, some toasts and a yogurt? Sorry again but it's not true. What about the cornflakes, croissants, nutella, jam, fresh bread, muesli, some cookies, a cherry cake and so on? Coffee, cappuccino, tea, chocolate, juice.. Please say the truth when you review a structure because we work hard for our customers. Say that you don't like italian breakfast and you made a mistake not reading what you were booking. Thank you for staying, best regards from Magna Cura.

great stay

Walking distance to the Metro. Within 20- 25 minutes to Museu do Vaticano. The room clean and staff polite and helpful. It was difficult first to find. Located in apartment building on first floor. Great restaurant within waking distance. Yes I would recommend.

Nice and clean... Easy to find from metro or railway station Valle Aurelia....only 3 minutes to walk. If you want best advice to visit Rome there is one name on Magna Cura ...Fabrizio. He also will prepare your breakfast careful acording much attention to details. Nice person to talk about it....

We stayed at the Magna Cura for a week. First, this is a budget B&B, but everything was well done. The staff were great. We had a small breakfast every morning of a cappuccino, sandwich, yogurt, fruit, and a pastry. The rooms are very clean and well done. The bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled and had excellent hot water. The bed was comfortable. The location, while a bit out of the historical center was near the metro station making everything easily accessible. The local neighborhood was safe and there were plenty of places to eat, though the quality varied. If you stay here make sure you get coffee and pastries at the Sicilian Pastry shop just around the corner. I would highly recommend the Magna Cura as it is the best budget hotel I've stayed at in Rome, in fact better then most mid-range hotels.

Great room near the Vatican

Our stay was great. We speak no Italian. Fortunately, Fabrizio speaks very good English and helped us with any questions about the city that we had. I would definitely stay here again on future visits to Rome.

Recommended.

Right below the Vatican walls and ideally situated between two Metro train stations which meant easy access to all of Rome. Very clean comfortable safe quiet and well run. Within walking distance were good places to eat, cafes and small supermarkets. The ideal place for a stay in Rome.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir waren mit unserer Unterkunftsauswahl zufrieden. Da wir uns im Vorfeld über die Unterkunft informiert hatten, wussten wir diese einzuordnen. Unsere Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Vor allem die nette Art von Fabrizio war sehr angenehm. Wer zum Vatikan möchte, hat es zu Fuß nicht weit und ansonsten ist die Metrostation nicht weit. Sicher gibt es auch kleinere Nachteile, z.B. dass die Zimmer etwas hellhöriger sind und auch der morgentliche Straßenlärm durch die doppelten Fenster nicht ganz unterdrückt wird. Aber man sollte bedenken, dass man sich in einer Großstadt befindet. Wer mehr Annehmlichkeiten will, muss halt in einem teureren Hotel buchen und nicht in einer B&B-Unterkunft. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedenfalls weiterempfehlen. Das Zimmer wr sauber, das Frühstück war ok. und bei Fragen oder Wünschen, z.B. Taxiservice, wurde uns schnell geholfen.

Great place to stay and great location.

We spent 3 nights here recently and it was a fantastic stay. About a 2 minute walk to the metro station that takes you to most places in Rome and cost 12 euros per person for a 48h hop on-hop off service. The staff looked after us very well and met all our needs so all in all very impressed.

Hotel diente als Schlafquartier; 20 Minuten Gehzeit zum Petersplatz, 5 Minuten zur Metrolinie A (Valle Aurelia) und damit Verbindungen ins gesamte römische Stadtgebiet; Wir konnten dank eigener Schlüssel kommen und gehen, wann wir wollten; Frühstück konnte selbst zubereitet werden, das machte Frühstarts möglich( wichtig beim Besuch des Petersdoms oder des Colosseums)!

A unos 10 minutos caminando de la entrada a los Museos Vaticanos y al lado de una parada de Metro para ir al centro de Roma. Habitación correcta, baño pequeño con ducha y wifi gratuito que funciona bien. Hay un aparcamiento subterráneo a 10 minutos andando o uno frente al hotel al aire libre sin vigilancia de plazas azules y otras sin coste. Desayuno bien y el encargado del lugar muy amable.

B&b consigliato, ricca colazione, camere pulite e con tutti i confort.Abbiamo trovato anche le ciabate monouso. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile, ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. La fermata della metro è a 50m Ci sono supermarket e ristoranti vicini.

Great location!

Magna Cura B&B is an excellent base in Rome. Just outside of the "touristy" parts and a nice 10 minute stroll to the Vatican. Quite far from the ancient parts of Rome mind, but with a hop on hop off bus stop being a 25 min walk away it's not too much to still get to see landmarks such as the Colosseum. You can get taxis too if you wanted. We were greeted by Fabrizio our host who's English is very good, he is polite and extremely helpful. His advice come in handy travelling to famous landmarks. We will stay here again most definitely!

Achter Vaticaanstad, goed bereikbaar.

Leuke kleine B&B met zorgzaam personeel. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en het is schoon en netjes. Als je tips ed wilt is het personeel er om je deze te geven. De metro is op 5 minuten afstand lopen en een supermarkt op 10 minuten loopafstand.

Everything was Wonderful, I could visited many places in Rome, Italy and meeting great people. The end still is not good. The flight that I was supposed to take me back to Miami was gone when I arrived into the Fiumicino Airport. (And I don't feel good at all with the airline that was related to it, therefore I even felt bad and angry with the staff at the airport, perhaps, maybe they have nothing to do with the personnel that works for the airline) Other than that It was a Great trip! Thank you so much!

Excellent place excellent hospitality

Gisella was very helpful and a lovely host. She made us feel very welcome and was an important part of our trip. The hotel was well placed in that it wasn't in the middle of everything but was close enough to the metro to make it easy to get in and out of the centre. We will definitely be returning to Magna Cura when we return to Rome.

Kind of unusual having a B & B in a 5 bedroom Apartment. The host Gisella was helpful and friendly. She also made a good breakfast. The area is within walking distance of the Vatican Museums

Echt een aanrader! Met name de persoonlijke aandacht en de gastvrijheid Ontzettend aardige en behulpzame gastvrouw Gisella! Gaf heel veel tips en regelde allerlei reserveringen

Bien situé près des commodités

Très bon accueil, très bon petit déjeuner copieux Grande propreté, très bonne literie Bien situé à 2 pas du métro et 20mns à pied du centre, la place Saint Pierre, le Vatican Seul bémol l' absence d' isolation phonique entre les chambres et pas suffisamment d' indication pour trouver l' hôtel (juste une petite étiquette sur la sonnette)
