Quiet location up river
B&B located along Niagara River up river from the falls. Nice neighborhood and walking path along river. Quiet which is what we wanted instead of being downtown. 200 year old building. Bed was too soft and private bath down the hall, otherwise fine. Enjoyed breakfast in the morning and owner even supplied to-go breakfast the day we left early.

Lovely stay!
We loved our stay. We only stayed one night so didn't really see the owners besides at breakfast, but that was fine with us. Lovely home, pretty location, quiet and close enough to everything we needed'

Charming B&B
Wonderful hosts and guests, charming house (super clean) and delicious breakfast. The only thing that would have made it nicer would have been a dip in the lovely pool (started raining buckets just before we arrived).

Brilliant B&B - loved it
Brilliant stay at Dannerhouse, a beautiful old 1805 building B&B right opposite the Niagara river, 10 minutes drive from Niagara Falls. Wonderful and relaxing waking up to that view every morning with a fabulous cooked breakfast. Helen and Dave are lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome in their home. We wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely stay again.

Peaceful B&B by Niagara River
Instructions left for us on arrival, so soon sorted ourselves out and made use of the pool with its lovely surroundings, meeting the friendly owners later on. Beautiful situation by river Niagara about 15 mins from the Falls so away from the Las Vegas feel. The house is charming with a bit of history as its quite old. The room looked fairly recently redecorated with plain walls (I think the photo showed floral paper before) Lovely breakfasts. Friendly folk. Battle field nearby. A few reasonable eating places a short drive away. Delightful and peaceful.

Fantastic stay!
Brilliant bed and breakfast - so glad we found it and had a lovely stay. Stayed two nights when travelling from Montreal to Chicago with the intention of visiting the falls. The room was great, really comfortable, so quiet and peaceful. The B&B is a short drive from the falls and from the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-lake. The inclusive breakfast was fantastic; French toast, fruit salad, juice, coffee, tea. On our last morning we had an early start planned and couldn't really hang around for breakfast, when we explained this to Helen she offered to make us breakfast-to-go; bagels, fruit, biscuits and juice - perfect for our long journey. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to stay in the area - absolutely faultless and great hosts!

First time at a B & B
The Bed and Breakfast was very nice and Helen and Dave were great hosts. Breakfast was a 5 star. The distance from the falls was a $35.00 taxi ride.

Luxury accommodation within easy reach of Niagara
A beautiful home with a historic past which is well documented throughout the house. Our host was most welcoming and prepared a delicious breakfast next morning.

Fantastic cozy quiet and comfy
Love this place we stayed just one night and wished we could have stayed for the week. Just 10 minutes from the falls and a breakfast that tops any other hotel I've ever been to. bed was so comfy too with extra pillows didn't want to wake up.

Very nice stay!
I'm not one to stay very often in a B&B, however I found the Donner House to be a very pleasant stay. The house is old but full of character and of course was very clean. Our host and hostess Helen and Dave were confident, relaxed and prepared for our stay. The only draw back but common with a B&B was the lack of an ensuite. However we did have our own bathroom at the end of the hall. All in all a very, very nice experience. I'd go again.

Exceptional Service!!!
This house is absolutely gorgeous!!! It's right on the water which is beautiful and Niagara Falls is just down the river, so it's right outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. The house is so peaceful and the hosts Dave and Helen are just the sweetest people ever. They are so friendly and nice, they made us feel very special. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast is always very delicious. We can't wait to take another trip to Canada and we will most definitely be staying at the Dannerhouse B&B again.
