Every aspect of my stay at Hollamoor added up to make it an EXPERIENCE that I'll carry with me a long while. The room itself, Beaulieu, was in the 300 year-old barn overlooking gardens filled with spring flower blossoms. Ancient stone walls in the room contrasted with the most comfortable bedding and down-filled pillows you can imagine. Beautiful, contemporary bathroom with skylight includes a big tub to soak in and a separate shower with huge shower head. The real experience, however, wasn't the room but the quintessential Devon countryside at your doorstep, beautiful walks with stunning views, and sheep, ducks, doves, and horses that surround the farm. Breakfasts in the manor house with fires crackling away in the huge stone fireplace includes fresh eggs, homemade granola, and lots more. The hosts, an English Lord and Lady, are exceptional people, yet very down to earth, full of ideas for your day trips out into this amazing region.
