Wonderful stay at this charming hotel. Friendly hosts and lovely clean, comfortable room, with a very comfy bed. Self sevice breakfast was nice. Well positioned for exploring and good restaurants & bars nearby. Rooms are up on 2nd floor so worth noting if an issue but otherwise would recommend. Thanks.

The property was very clean, location was close to all amenities, if I had to make one comment was the breakfast area was lovely but if there was another guest or guest in the breakfast room it was difficult to manoeuvre or sit without feeling you were imposing on the other guest. We skipped breakfast the first morning. It felt awkward. Not sure how that would go other than sit in your room. Not a complaint just a comment.

Das B&B war vom Bahnhof in Bergamo zu Fuß in 10 Gehminuten erreichbar und sehr zentral gelegen. Unser Zimmer war liebevoll gestaltet und vor allem sehr sauber. Die Mama und der Papa von den Besitzern haben uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen und uns einige Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Nähe gegeben. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und freuen uns schon! Grazie mille! :)

We loved Federica and Massimo. They were so helpful with all our questions and such gracious hosts. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and everything very clean. Good location, too.

Great location OK room
The Lucia B&B had great location between old town and newer pedestrian walk. The room was clean. The room was too hot and the supposed floor AC did not cool. It was also stuffy because there were no windows we could open.

how it's possible have no windows, if every room have a balcony? i think you mean something different a/c work and very well, but you must setting it on the middle line, if you put it on the snow symbol it stop, because its an ice protection for winter. i'm sorry for that, there are all our numbers in the room, just in case of any problems my best

We had a stressful drive from Venice and on arrival our host seemed annoyed that we were late. She took an extra €10 from us as a penalty for being late (but did not include this in the receipt). We felt that she was very businesslike and her main interest was the money aspect. What she did not tell us until after we had paid the bill - and only by text message - was that people/strangers would be coming into the apartment early the next morning to collect and deliver dirty/clean bedlinen and towels. They arrived and let themselves in with their own key while we were washing and dressing. We felt that it was an intrusion on our privacy - but we were especially annoyed that we were not told in advance and that the host expected us to accommodate her cleaners schedule - but that she took €10 extra from us for being late. It is not about the money, it was her attitude that we did not appreciate. The kitchen is tiny, no room for a table to sit and eat together. Otherwise the apartment was clean and pleasant and the location is very central, however there is a lot of street noise both at night and early in the morning as people queue early to visit Juliet's balcony just beside the apartment. Overall a mediocre experience.

hello, i think this is a misunderstanding. you are not talking about our b&b, but about anotherone place in Verona. we are B&b Santa Lucia in Bergamo, and we have no apartments, nobody of us go in the room early in the morning if you are in, and we don't take money for late check in. i hope you'll cancell soon this bad review because its not about us best regards

B&B Santa Lucia is located neer Bergamo Airport (BGY) which was perfect for us. We hade the pleasuer to enjoy the old city of Bergamo the night berfor departuer back home and that was fantastic! Household were very helpfull and welcoming, although we were charged an extra of 10 Euros for parking in thier parking lot. Another difficulty is the absance of a lift in the bulding. we had to carry all lugage up yo the 2nd flor by feet.

Hübsches Hotel und freundliches Personal
Ursprünglich sollte der check out um 19:30 Uhr enden, jedoch dadurch dass unser Flug erst gegen 22:00 Uhr abfliegen sollte, waren wir dementsprechend auch erst Nachts da. Doch auch das war kein Problem wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wir waren also mit dem allgemeinen Aufenthalt mehr als zufrieden und glücklich.

Excellent location well placed for both alta and bassa citta . Very comfortable. Good parking. Do it yourself breakfast , not my personal choice.

Schöne Übernachtung aber nicht im Sommer....
Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut. Alles frisch renoviert, große Bad und Dusche. Aber keine einzige Ablagemöglichkeit. Sehr hellhörig von der Straße und den Zimmernachbarn. Klimaanlage für Temperaturen über 30 Grad überfordert. Klimaanlage ist im Boden. Geringe bis keine Kühlung. Frühstück selber machen ganz witzig, allerdings war kaum etwas da. Milch zB nur noch für zwei Tassen Kaffee. Sehr gute Lage. Guter Pizza Service in der Nähe!

Good location
The traff are friendly. The location is great. Restaurants and supermarkets just few minutes walking distance. The rom and bathroom are big and clean. But the pillows and bed are a little bit too hard for us. The B&b is on the main road, so it can be noisy for some people.

Angenehmes B&B , central gelegen.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Massimos Vater empfangen. Er zeigte uns die Zimmer und Küche und gab uns auch gleich Tips und Empfehlungen für Ausflüge und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das B&B ist sehr central gelegen. Man erreicht Bergamo basso sowie Citta alta in angemessener Zeit zu Fuss. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben neue Badezimmer. Es dürfte etwas mehr Abstellflächen haben in Dusche und Badezimmer aber ansonsten fehlt es an nichts. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Siamo stati accolti in modo molto cordiale ed efficiente da Federica e Massimo - Come concordato avevamo anche il posto macchina all'interno di un cortile privato - A disposizione degli ospiti c'è una cucina molto attrezzata, c'è una macchina del caffe' con le cialde dove ti puoi fare quanti caffe' vuoi ! brioches, biscotti, cereali, miele, te' ...un frigorifero con yogurt, succhi di frutta, latte.... non ci si può assolutamente lamentare. Assolutamente da ritornarci

Poor value for money.
The B&B Santa Lucia is situated on the top floor of a high building. There is no lift. You have to climb 4 flights of steep wooden stairs. The room is very basic . The curtains are thin and let the light in . The towels are very thin and slightly grey. There is no mirror in the bedroom and the lighting is bad. The owner is friendly and helpful but the so called " breakfast buffet " is a joke. On arrival you are shown a small basic kitchen and told to do it yourself . There is nothing fresh in this kitchen..only instant coffee pre-packed croissons and some cereal. Very disappointing ! There is no parking as the building is on a main road . The owner takes advantage of this by charging guests 10 euros a night to park on his drive ! We would not recommend this place. It is poor value for money and we would not stay there again .
