A beautiful inn right across the border
This was a beautiful Inn within walking distance of the border with Derby Line, Vermont. The owner was friendly and accommodating. My room was elegant. The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was delicious. There is no restaurant but I received a 10% discount at Le Tomifobia, a wonderful place close by. All in all a great Quebec experience a stone's throw from the border.

There was no TV in the room, and the area is fairly off the beaten track - but the service was excellent, the area lovely and the breakfast delicious.

Cosy, clean and convenient. Lovely hosts.
Wonderful. Comfortable room, stylish home, great breakfast. Door was very hard to close, but I'm sure that can be fixed. Door had keypad lock which was very convenient for coming and going - no keys to lose. :)

Such a great place !
Great room on the second floor with lots of space, great windows, private deck, soaking tub and rain shower. Beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious. Nice enough for a whiny guy who typically doesn't want to stay in someone's house - he couldn't find anything negative to say! Caroline's decorating was fun and creative,.

Chambre d'hôte fantastiqe
Nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur' dans cette belle maison . Notre chambre était spacieuse et tres bien équipée. L'environnement est magnifique . Si nous devons repasser par Stanstead nous y retournerons avec plaisir .

Un gîte calme et confortable
Dès que la porte s'ouvre sur Janice, nous avons senti son accueil chaleureux. La chambre au grenier était super confortable, tranquille et très belle. Le plus fantastique était les fenêtres au plafond en angle qui donnait une vue magnifique sur les étoiles. Et au lever, le déjeuner était tellement délicieux! À y retourner! Stanstead m'a charmé de A à Z. *Bon à savoir: nous n'avons pas trouvé de restos ouverts le lundi soir, alors bien planifier où manger avant de partir (villes à proximité y compris un passeport pour les États-Unis).

This B & B was very nice close to the facilities that we had business at, the staff was very pleasant, and accommodating the room was a bit small but we had booked late, very clean, and the breakfast was very nice and presented well, We would recommend ,this B & B, to anyone going the Town of Stanstead, Quebec, or in the vicinity,

Le plateau repas en vaux le détour
Très belle place pour se reposer et faire un peux de touriste mais le plateau repas était vraiment très très bien et même offert un sceau à glace pour notre bouteille de vin après une journée de promenade quoi de plus . L'endroit est paisible et nos hôtes très disponible pour répondre à nos question. Ont a bien aimer notre sejour .

Clean, Quiet B&B with Truly Exceptional Service
We stayed at B&B Cosy for one night, while we were attending a celebration for a friend in Newport Vermont. We were dismayed when we pulled into the parking lot as dark fell to discover that one of the tires on our car was flat. Caroline, the very gracious and kind proprietor of the hotel, actually used her Canadian Automobile Association membership to get the tire changed quickly and without cost on a Saturday night when this small town seemed deserted. She also recommended a restaurant and called to make sure it would be open for our late arrival; it turned out to be very fine indeed. The room was lovely and very clean with a very comfortable bed. Caroline's breakfast the next morning was also excellent. This is an exceptional accomodation. We strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Stanstead Plain or the border towns of Vermont. It is worth the slight hassle of crossing from the US for no other reason than to stay here.

Flight was delayed and did t arrive till late, no worries nice note welcoming us and telling us where room was. Had to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast but they were very accommodating and crank out a delicious breakfast. Next time we need to go to stanstead college (across the street) we will be sure to stay here!

Simply perfect!
I was away on business and this hotel made me feel like I was on a weekend getaway in the middle of the week! It was so perfect that I forgot I was away for work. The hostess was so hospitable and accommodating from the moment I arrived to the moment I sadly had to leave. She made me feel right at home. The place is quite special and unique. It has both a modern and old world charm to it. It's an 18th century house furnished with a contemporary look that's done just right. Outside my window below was a waterfall or creek, which, the sounds were just transcending. Breakfast was just perfect. Once you had your first taste, it was obvious high quality ingredients were used. And the presentation was off a cooking magazine cover. Deliciously impressive! Can't wait until I have to go back!!

Quiet, comfortable B&B with a yummy breakfast
I was looking for a place to stay just over the border in Canada before traveling further. The room was perfect for me - very modern and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet. The town has a small town/college feel. The breakfast in the morning was great and the hostess was fantastic. I would stay here again and recommend it as well.

the owners did not stick around, had hired someone to provide breakfast for us. That was a little disappointing since it was a bed and breakfast. Other than that, it was great

Cosy and cool BnB close to the Border
We were visiting Magog for the day and arrived at this bnb late at night, so didn't see the outside of the building or the grounds until the next day. We stayed in the room named "À la belle étoile". The room was very clean with modern furnishings. It was an attic type room and had slanted ceilings and I may have hit my head a few times while unpacking, though my wife had no issues. The odd thing about the room is that the en suite bathroom has no door, which made things a bit awkward when you want to go to the bathroom and need some privacy. The bed was very comfortable. Thumbs up to whatever material the sheets are made from. Great threadcount. The breakfast the next morning was lovely - a berry smoothie and warm chocolate chip muffin to start with coffee and orange juice, followed by scrambled eggs on toast with tomato slices on the side. Perfect size portions. We weren't hungry for a good chunk of the day afterwards, nor were we stuffed. The dining room / living area was welcoming and well put together, and the outdoor space looked inviting had the weather been nicer. Overall, great spot.

Belle maison rénové avec style. Notre chambre très design mais pas pratique et inconfortable à cause de la pente des toits et de la baignoire trop grande et inconfortable, pas de possibilité de prendre juste une douche et l'éclairage pas question de lire dans la chambre et même faire sa barbe c'est à la pénombre pas d'éclairage au dessus du lavabo. Mais vraiment très belle décoration et style dans l'établissement Wow!. Visite de Granit Central et des trains miniature à Stanstead et aussi de la binliothèque sise sur la frontière du Québec et des États-Unis vaut le détour.
