We did not know this was no longer a bed and breakfast-Strike 1. The former breakfast room was converted to another room, so access was blocked to the spa and only this room can use it! Strike 2. The shower/bath was the most difficult I have ever used. It freestanding, sits up on a slippery when wet step, and has a ridiculous wrap around curtain that is off center so there is virtually no way to not have a large slit in the curtain. So water splashes out onto the slippery step! BIG strike 3. The refrigerator is OKAY, but had no freezer, and wasn't told there was a tiny one sitting outside on the floor. Finally, the windows that face the actual bed have no curtain (and the others do not have room darkening curtains) so don't plan on taking a nap during the day. The horse riding is on the property, 100 feet from the hotel, which is very convenient, but the smell wafts a bit through the rooms, but not too bad. The one thing that it had really going for it was a spectacular view. We stayed in the Eagles crest room.
