Stayed in Stuart's Cabin, and was greeted by Andrew as soon as we pulled up. He offered to carry our bags, and when we got to the cabin, walked us through everything. It was the best personal touch you could ever imagine. He ran through all the items that other places would print out into a book, and made sure we felt comfortable from the get go. The fridge was stocked with yogurt, fresh jam, bacon, fresh eggs, juice, milk, and pretty much anything you could need. There was also freshly baked bread that simply melts.
We had strong winds on our first night, and the power went out for about an hour. It was really nice to get a text from Andrew notifying us, and apologising. I really admire the ability to text the host, and being responded to as a person than a guest. Andrew's heart and soul is all throughout the B&B, and you can see it.
It is also really great to be able to read all the other guest's messages in the guest book in the room. Some of the messages simply show Andrew's dedication to making your stay the best it can be.
